A lovely getaway with friends over New Year's. Very much enjoyed the space and surroundings and can tell it would be even better in the summer. Everything was great about the stay, although the water does smell quite sulfury when it's running which didn't make showering super enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasure coordinating with Donna and the caretaker of the property, Ian, was very kind and helpful. Thank you!

Matteo’s place was literally the most beautiful place I’ve stayed in, since using air bnb. The pictures are exactly as the place is. A lot of space for a large group of people. Very clean and well furnished. Quiet, welcoming area of Calgary. Would 10/10 recommend.

We truly enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time. The hot tub was a fantastic feature, especially for our group, and the space was clean and well-maintained. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating, quickly providing the few items we requested. We also appreciated the extra effort they took to clean the hot tub at the end of each night, ensuring it was ready for use the next day. One small detail we would have appreciated being mentioned in the listing is that the hosts reside in the basement. However, this did not detract from our overall positive experience.

Enjoyed my week at John’s place. Rental was priced reasonably and in close proximity to shopping and the rec centre. I highly recommend this rental!

Very much felt at home in this cozy little lake house, yard was perfect for the kids, teenager could take the paddle board out, relaxed on the dock in the evenings, all around great little place!

The host is quite generous with amazing amenities and the house is really homey and comfortable

We were staying for combined purposes - to visit family in the Calgary area, and to ice fish. The property is ideal for getting out on the lake and is a great option for ice fisherman. We appreciated AJ's flexibility in allowing us to host an open house with family one afternoon. We had about 20 people coming and going, and we had a terrific time. The space between kitchen and living area and the pool table and dining room table was excellent for flow of guests! We also appreciated the opportunity to only pay for two guests despite the size of the house! AJ simply locks the extra bedrooms, which is a great rental strategy for him to use! The kitchen was beautifully supplied and linens and towels were plentiful and of good quality. We will definitely look to stay at the property another time we are in the area!
