Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Cathays

We had a great night’s stay at Dafydd’s fab house. Right in the middle of Cardiff and very convenient for our theatre trip. Easy parking for two cars on the drive. All the bedrooms were tidy and comfortable, plus two big and clean bathrooms. Dog friendly too. Great communication from Dafydd from the moment we booked until the moment we left. Thanks for having us!

Nick was a great host and his place offered a comfortable stay.

The house was nice and comfy. We felt right at home. Parking is hit or miss, but usually could find a place near enough to walk to the house.

We loved our stay at Ty Hapus! Jane and Phil are great hosts and so kind and thoughtful! We were made to feel right at home with our children and dogs and we were also left some essential items which was amazing after the long drive we’d had. We will be sure to return on our next visit to Barry! Thank you so much 😊

A lovely place to stay.

Very nice place for my family. Close to Cardiff centre and lots to do. Very comfortable for all ages in my family and perfect sized garden for our dog. House was clean and very well stocked to make dinner and prep for Christmas with the family. Wife and Nan commented on the nice art work on the walls. Host was very informative with check in and parking options but left us to enjoy our stay without bothering us. Would stay again when visiting family in Cardiff.

Absolutely love this accommodation and the hosts running it. Perfect set up for anyone mountain biking in the area with secure shed, bike wash area, maintenance room. Really cool decor, everything you need, short walk into Merthry for food and drinks and less than 10 mins for Bike Park Wales. Hosts are super helpful with local recommendations and always quick to respond. I've stayed here with friends a few times now and can't recommend it enough, it's the first place and I'll always look if available if visiting BPW or Dirt Farm.

We had a lovely stay, it was just right for a family of 3 and ample space for more. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a holiday or short break in Penarth or the surrounding areas.

Fantastic house, lots to do either with a group or if you wanted time to yourself. The pool was amazing along with the hot tub and the games room was entertaining. The kitchen is a great hosting space also.

Lovely static caravan with everything you could need. Clean and plenty of blankets, towels etc. Located next to fight path for Cardiff airport which my friend was thrilled with being a plane spotter. And train line up the road. Barry short drive away. Will definitely recommend and possibly revisit in 2025 :)

We booked last minute, the morning of our stay. Diane was very responsive and when we turned up the lodge was immaculate despite a short notice. The scenery and location was beautiful and very relaxing. We brought along our dog and gated patch in front was reassuring that he would be safe whilst we stayed. Would stay again x

Had a great stay , place was big enough for us and two puppies modern and well done up, very cozy place. Steph was very response and had lots of recommendations and things to do and places to see, very well stocked kitchen for breaky - was very thoughtful ! Thanks for the awesome get away! Would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cwtch cottage! We visited with our daughter & dog for a little mini break after our wedding. The house is so cosy and lovely and everything worked perfectly. Sarah is a fabulous host, nothing is too much trouble and the place was decorated for us when we got there to make it feel really special! The village itself is lovely and all of the locals were so friendly! Nice central location to get to Cardiff and Barry too!

Fantastic place close to Whitchurch and easily accessible to Cardiff. Very cosy, stylish space that has everything you need. Christine was a great host who promptly sorted out the Sky TV when it stopped working. Would definitely consider staying again!

Been here now 3 times and won't stay anywhere else can't wait to come back already

The house was warm and spotless! Jen was very thoughtful and even prepared a welcome note for us. The location was also great, with easy access to both the beach and the supermarket. Best choice for holidays!
