Holiday rentals with breakfast in Catanzaro

This was a wonderful place in which to spend several days exploring beautiful Reggio Calabria and Sicily. Our hostess and host were exceptional - extraordinarily generous and kind. We were showered with thoughtful gifts of eggs, fruit, fresh picked vegetables from their garden and a bottle of their home-made wine (which was excellent). They were patient with our questions and were a fount of local insights and knowledge. Over decades of travel, they rank at the very top of the hosts that we have met. The house was immaculate, modern and very well appointed and lived up to every one of our expectations. It is on the edge of a small village and was serene and peaceful. The house is located outside of Reggio Calabria and close to the ferries to Sicily in Villa San Giovanni. A car is strongly recommended to enable local travel and trips to Sicily (which are very easy to arrange). All in all, an exceptional stay. Thank you!!!!

This place was perfect for our stay in Cosenza. Walk to cento storico and also the via Mazzini for all the shops and bars and restaurants

Antonio, his wife and mother Mina were so warm and welcoming. Our trip from Rome was much longer than we anticipated and they waited up until 1:30 am to let us in. The home is beautiful and so well equipped for a comfortable visit. Mina so graciously, took us to restaurant, where we could eat and helped us connect with our distant relatives. The whole experience was a dream come true for us. We were only here for two days but I would highly recommend a longer stay. The views are beautiful. A great place for an artist or writer or anyone needing to be restored. God willing we would love to return.

Great deal! Beach front, walking distance from the beach and from restaurant + utility shop. The house was perfect, felt at home right away. Ezio is really kind and ready to help if need plus the apartment has literally everything!

We stayed at Armando's place for a night while visiting Tropea. Armando was very friendly and helpful from the moment we booked the airbnb to our day of check out. Check in was very flexible, as we were driving and were unsure of arrival time. The airbnb is walking distance from the beach, restaurant and shops. Such a beautiful area. Highly recommend and would stay again!

We were really impressed with the simplicity and comfort of the apartment, but even more by the thoughtful way in which we were made welcome. Milk in the fridge and a nice breakfast provided. We would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay.

This was our first trip to this area and we hope to return. The location of Angelo’s place was an excellent base to explore the area. We enjoyed the beach below and did some snorkelling with lots of fish. We did not require much from Angelo while there but when we did he responded promptly and was very friendly. We would highly recommend Angelo’s place!

Danilo and Emanuela are very nice hosts. The house is renovated and comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Remark that the house is equipped with an EV charger. In short, a highly recommended place, we would repeat without hesitation!

Doris was a kind and generous host. We had trouble finding the place with the link provided but she came out to the street to set us straight. It was the end of a long day and we were glad to shower and go to bed. Doris was flexible with breakfast time and chatted as we ate. We had a little walk around before leaving back to walk to the train. Stairs up to the room are wide and accessible. Room has low slanted ceiling so guests should be able to negotiate this as well as step across top of stairs edge. Doris keeps hall lite well at night so you can see to access toilet.

Massimo was a fantastic host and the property is a hidden gem! With direct access to the beach, it is truly a rare find in tropea. It’s walkable to town for dinner, shopping, and drinks, and there is both public / paid access to beach areas right outside the property. Massimo went out of his way to welcome us and help us throughout our stay. I would suggest requesting a room with a balcony to be able to hang your towels/ swimwear but other than that, it was fabulous!

This is an excellent rental! Clean and spacious, it's the perfect little apartment and Enzo is an excellent host. I had so many delicious cornetti for breakfast (graciously provided by Enzo) and overall staying here really improved my time in Crotone. I can't recommend it enough!

Straight forward stay - clean, centrally located near the train station and accessible by bus nr 90 from the airport. Also, great cappuccino for breakfast :)

This ancient accommodation in a little village overlooking the sea was really different, and we enjoyed the uniqueness of it. Lots of alleys full of history and lookouts to take in the views. Maria Teresa also runs a good restaurant very close by, AND serves a truly lovely breakfast. She's a great believer in 'field to plate' and has a strong commitment to the village. The locals adore her.
