Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Casa de Oro-Mount Helix

This home was beautiful! Plenty of space for the seven of us for our girls' trip. Helen was an excellent host. She was very responsive to any questions we had. The property was well-stocked with towels and linen, and had a washer and dryer in case you needed to do laundry. The backyard is beautiful. Extremely flexible check-in/check-out options. I would definitely stay again.

Erik was extremely accommodating and responsive. He helped us secure his rental on a last minute notice. Turned out to be such a cozy spot to spend our little getaway. His place was close to all we wanted to explore in SD. Thank you again Erik!

We went with our elderly parents and two young children. The place was perfect, clean, and accommodating. Really great for little kids, and we didn’t have to bring a high chair or pack and play. Made travel easier on us. Ken was a great host and very responsive. We would love to stay there again in the future.

The place was perfect for our family which included a 22 month old. The hosts thought of everything one could need! Used the stroller everyday to walk to the beach boardwalk just down the walkway and to Bay boardwalk just across the street. Super clean, comfortable and one of the top AirBnBs we’ve stayed in. Highly recommend!!

Rodrigo was very friendly and the house was very nice and clean. We locked ourselves out of our car and he helped us finding a locksmith. 10/10!!

From former OB residents back visiting this was a very wonderful and “local” experience staying in this Airbnb. With especially a lot of space to spend time with family for the area. Close to beach and our favorite restaurants as well. We hope to return in the future. WONDERFUL AND CLEAN!

What more to say than wow. Incredible spot, amazing views, plenty of amenities like towels, pots and pans. The Hot ton couldn’t have been more perfect for the view that’s in front of it. Super responsive host, and excellent neighborhood. Not to mention it was pretty close to everything we needed.

Kevin's place was quiet and peaceful . It's a little smaller than I thought, but it was clear that Kevin put a lot of care into keeping the place clean and comfortable.

What a terrific Point Loma location, easy to commute to anything you wanted to do. The home was clean and had a lovely patio area for soaking in some sun.

Excellent hosts who were proactive in making sure we (4 of us)had everything we needed during our 5 day stay to visit son's family ! Tony brought a welcome tray with variety of snacks & drinks, besides those in the refrig...so very thoughtful & grandaughters enjoyed many of the treats. Located in a very quiet, nice neighborhood within short walking distance to beach, park area and coffee shops. Daughter & 2 granddaughters stayed in bedroom with queen & bunk beds & I stayed in Master. All very comfortable! To note too: Nice remodel, lg bathroom shower with super water pressure- was nice after long day out & about. Everything we needed, super hosts & would highly recommend this location!

Nicholas’s apartment was the perfect find for my Southwrn California getaway. The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable, and the view of the ocean from the pool was just what I had hoped for! A perfect spot to relax during the day and watch the sunset in the evening. Great restaurants and shops in walking distance, free parking, gracious staff - all around perfect!

Excellent stay right by the beach.

Great location. Easy check-in and out. Friendly host. Good value. Just know you are on the 1st level. Upstairs traffic will be heard. Everything worked as expected with exception to the bicycles. We ended up renting some. Minivan fit into garage, but had to enter and exit from the rear hatch. Very tight spot but convenient and covered. Always felt safe here with my family.

Title: Great Value, but be Prepared for Noise I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had an overall positive experience. The location was fantastic—easy to find, and it was conveniently close to local attractions and restaurants. The host was responsive and friendly, making the check-in process smooth. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Considering the price compared to other options in the area, I felt it was a great value. However, one thing to note is that the property is in the flight path for San Diego airport. While this wasn’t an issue once I fell asleep, the noise from the planes, neighbors, and outdoor sounds made it a bit challenging to get to sleep on the first few nights. The walls seemed a bit thin, so I could hear quite a bit of outside noise. Overall, I'd recommend staying here, but be prepared for the noise—especially if you're a light sleeper. This was our 2nd stay in this building with Sea Breeze. You cannot beat the location! It is not just walkable, the view out the patio is all ocean, there is only a parking lot separating you from the sand. And it can be fun to people watch those come and go in the parking lot as well. The bed is comfortable and the place is spacious. Plus, so many great restaurants to walk to. There are no chain restaurants which is even better. I also recommend taking a food tour experience. My family and I are absolutely thrilled about our stay at Andy’s! The view from the unit was stunning, super easy beach access, lots of amenities on site. Many places within walking distance. The provided binder was extremely helpful with information about the property as well as recommendations. The unit itself was beautiful, there were games, the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed in the master was very comfortable. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would absolutely stay again.

La Costa is a beautiful place to stay. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Lovely well equipped apartment.

Jesse was extremely proactive in reaching out to me to confirm my early arrival request. He was very clear with his directions and instructions and prompt to respond when I reached out to him. The unit was exactly as described and not only checked off all of the boxes that we had, but included some additional bonuses. Great value, right off the beach, first floor, washer and dryer included, with two parking spaces. That is pretty much unheard of in that area! Should I need accommodations in San Diego again, I will absolutely reach out to inquire if Jesse's place is available again.
