Holiday houses in Carnelian Junction

Very cute and well furnished house. It was a block back from the main uptown street, so very walkable (5 minute walk to some bars and restaurants) without having to listen to traffic. I was also even able to rent one of those Lime scooters from downtown Minneapolis and scoot back to the house in like 12(?) minutes. I had a great weekend and would stay here again

Matthew’s place is gorgeous. Everything looks new and like it was designer for the space. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great time staying at this cabin for a girls weekend getaway! It was somehow even nicer in person, super private with a gorgeous view of the lake, 2-3 cozy living room areas, comfy bedrooms, and the fun tire swing & hammock! Great location close to downtown Stillwater. The kitchen was perfect for our group since we love to cook, and the breakfast nook was a fan favorite.

Another fabulous stay! Cozy, comfortable, and relaxing! We just had a question about the fire place and Emily responded right away and even had a video that they made to give visual directions. This was the first time this group of friends went and they loved the place so much they are planning their own trips to stay at the house with family!

Enjoyed this simple space. View out the back is great overlooking lake and forest beyond. Peaceful and quiet location on a dead end street. Had deer grazing in front yard in the mornings. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was great as we watched the sun set with vivid colors. Sofas weren't terribly comfortable and the back room with the fireplace is quite cool if you don't have a fire going in the winter. This visit was a work retreat with a colleague and was a great place to think and relax.

This Airbnb was exactly as described in the listing—spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and perfectly located. It had everything we needed for our trip, and the attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. The host was communicative and accommodating, ensuring our stay was seamless from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

A beautiful cabin with modern furniture and decor — we really loved our time here. Beautiful views, peaceful, relaxing and just what we wanted to ring in the new year. Comfy beds, lovely hot tub, and all the kitchen amenities we needed. We enjoyed checking out Cumberland as well. We made spa appointments and ate at the local restaurant/bars. Stephanie was very responsive and I would highly recommend. Would love to come back in the summer.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's home! The home was so spacious and well equipped - perfect for our group of 8 adults. Sarah was very communicative and responsive. We really enjoyed the beautiful views of the property - the hot tub was also a bonus! We also did the short drive to Stillwater for shopping and restaurants.

We felt it was a very relaxing home away from home. We loved the view and everything was as it was stated. I loved that there was everythin i needed in the kitchen! The beds were super comfy! We would love to return!

Mary’s place is great for a large group, and the location is stunning!! The kitchen is fully stocked and is one of the best airbnb kitchens I’ve seen! The town has limited options but is cute and close enough to the twin cities. The house has so much space, but the basement room is definitely more crammed and not as great as the upstairs ones. The beds are all very firm, but it is overall an amazing house, highly recommend!

This home is very comfortable. Simple communication. We stayed in the winter, would definitely revisit in the summer.

Our winter stay was a perfect way to ride out the fog that persisted for many days. Dry firewood for lakeside fires, gas fireplace to warm the cozy cabin. We enjoyed listening to owls, walking the Ice Age trail and the frozen lake. Elisabeth has provided the ammenties and decor to make her place feel like home, without all the responsibilities.
