Great place with stunning views. Easy access to main road and walkable to the local village. Has all you need including parking for one car but also an Airfryer which is extremely handy. Host is incredibly helpful and super responsive.

Perfect little hideaway spot with lots of scenic areas and quaint little towns close by. Unfortunately we didn't realise the nearby puzzlewood was shut down at this time of year so if that's something you would like to do make sure to check! We spent my girlfriends 30th here so it quickly became a very special spot for us. We made good use of the hot tub which was amazing and easy to use with the instructions provided. Wood provided lasted us plenty and extra bags are reasonably priced. Spectacular views to wake up to, it was foggy for us 2 out of 3 of our days so we didn't see many stars unfortunately but it was still very cosy and when the stars did show up it was a perfect experience especially in the hot tub. We would love to come back in the summer.

lovely stay, beautiful surroundings, only an hours drive from brecon beacons and an hour from the city centre. The cabin is peaceful and has plenty of amenities available, and we really loved the hot tub.

We absolutely loved our stay at Denise’s, the lodge was very cozy and also really clean, she left us a bottle of Prosecco and some snacks which was really kind of her, the hot tub was great also, we will definitely be staying again and 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice cute, getaway with their partner☺️

Nice little cabin in a quiet area, it was very easy to get the bus into the city centre.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jenny and Matt’s cabin! The location is perfect: quiet and private, with stunning views of the countryside. The hot tub was a nice touch too! Jenny and Matt were fantastic hosts - flexible, communicative and provided thoughtful extras like delicious homemade brownies and fresh milk on arrival. They also shared a helpful list of local recommendations for places to eat and explore. The cabin itself was cozy and beautifully maintained, and there’s plenty to do in the surrounding area, all within a short drive. We couldn’t have asked for a better NYE getaway and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing retreat. Thank you, Jenny and Matt, for such a memorable experience!

Not too much to say really apart from Daisy lodge was absolutely fantastic, head and shoulders above anywhere we have stayed before. Stargazing in the hot tub in the evening was amazing and the lodge was absolutely pristine. Claire was a outstanding host very friendly and helpful

Just what we wanted, quiet and private place for new year. Lots of paths to walk directly from home, no car required! Family of 4 had no issues with space, beautiful views across the reservoir and lovely neighbours (sanctuary animals!). Shout out to Mable the Boss, one sheep you have to meet 🤣 Just by booking a holiday here, you are already helping the animal sanctuary 👍

Beautiful location, lovely and cosy. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Tessa's place. We had some thick snow and it made the inside of the cabin feel even more like a cosy getaway. Tessa was super responsive and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend!

Wonderful stay. Lodge was immaculate and very cosy, with some lovely little touches to get you settled in. Beautiful views of the sea and cliffs. Quiet and peaceful when we went. Plenty to explore around the area with helpful recommendations from the host. Would definitely come back again.

Blackberries, free range chickens and stunning countryside in the season of mellow fruitfulness. This property is set in stunning countryside. Marjorie and her husband extend ed every kindness in our stay, a Monmouthian welcome we throughly enjoyed.

We had a lovely Winter stay at “The Shed” and made the most of the log burner and beautiful grounds.. A perfect place to rest & relax, and easy to get into Bath for Christmas markets. The Shed was extremely clean and had all standard amenities and more, it was extremely cosy and dog friendly - Chip & Honey were very grateful for their biscuits 🍪 Steve was really helpful with recommendations and the instructions/information provided was so helpful! We will definitely be back!

We were only sorry not to have booked another night. Vendy was very accommodating as we had to postpone our initial booking. The cabins are fabulous and the area is lovely. We loved it!

We booked last minute, the morning of our stay. Diane was very responsive and when we turned up the lodge was immaculate despite a short notice. The scenery and location was beautiful and very relaxing. We brought along our dog and gated patch in front was reassuring that he would be safe whilst we stayed. Would stay again x

This was our second visit and we stayed in Pine tree . We had a lovely relaxing stay and thoroughly enjoyed it . We had the pleasure of meeting Rita and thought she was a lovely friendly lady . Pine Tree had everything we needed for our 4 night staycation . We will definitely return again .

Clive & Debra were extremely responsive and helpful from the moment I booked, going above and beyond in all aspects. The location is truly stunning and very private and peaceful - Clive recommended some walks that we tried out.. we walked for a couple hours and only saw one other person! The wood burner kept the entire cabin lovely and toasty, and the morning visits from Maddie were a welcome treat as dog-lovers! The road is what you would expect driving to the top of a mountain, but my little corsa made it up just fine. After the first time when Clive meets you at the bottom (highly recommend doing this), you know what you’re dealing with. Definitely worth the drive up for the views at the top.

We've never stayed at an Airbnb before, but after Rita made it so easy from start to finish, we wouldn't hesitate again! The location was a little bit difficult to find, as we didn't come on the motorway (it being Friday), but we went back to the roundabout with the clock on (as per directions) & found it! We arrived in the dark, but there was a torch on the table! Everything was clean and labelled (plugs, water heater & oven), and there was a "things to do" file on the coffee table. Rita had thought of everything a guest would need! We were about 15 minutes out of Pontypridd town centre so the location was excellent! Overall the lodge was excellent, we were very happy with our break & we would definitely recommend the accommodation to anyone looking to stay in the area! Thank you Rita!

We spent a lovely New Year’s eve at Amanda’s lodge. It’s beautifully warm and cosy (especially in rainy weather!). The lodge is in a perfect location with gorgeous views over the countryside. It is wonderfully clean with fantastic facilities. Amanda is lovely and very responsive and attentive, we felt that nothing was too much trouble which made our stay extremely enjoyable. Thank you Amanda, we hope to return soon!

Absolutely stunning place. Remote enough to feel isolated and private, close enough to the real world for easy access. We were there during a snow storm and Chris advised us on the best way to deal with it and was incredibly helpful with his local knowledge. Place was cleam, warm and incredibly cosy. Had everything we needed. Location was fab. And we got a visit from Bellsy the Cat. Would thoroughly recommend.

Amanda was very friendly and communicated with us with very clear instructions about our stay how to check in and how to get there. The pod was absolutely immaculate, super cozy just a perfect couples getaway with a stunning view and nothing but peaceful surroundings will 100% be returning and recommending this place.
