Waterfront holiday rentals in Capitola

This was our first time in Aptos and at Seascape! Condo was absolutely perfect. Great location and views! Loved having the club house for a meal and afternoon cocktails. We will definitely be back to rent again from the owners.

This little place was great! We have visited Capitola so many times and have commented on how cool it would be to stay in this property so close to the restaurants and bars. When this Airbnb popped up I had to get it and so happy we did! It was quaint and cute and we loved the little kitchen and drop down table. Had everything we needed! We rode the electric bikes which were so much fun, and although we aren’t surfers, loved that there were also surfboards in the room. Also, Evan, the owner is a great communicator and we had absolutely no issues. The instructions are so detailed regarding getting into the room and the parking. Evan made us feel extremely welcome even though we never saw him. We will definitely plan to stay again!

We LOVED staying in this Air BnB. It was clean, modern, and right by the beach. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable, although the pull out couch bed was a bit squeaky (if you have a light sleeper sleeping on the couch, you might want to keep that in mind). We got lots of clear instructions and just loved this unit. We highly recommend!

We stayed at Kathleen's place for Thanksgiving, just after some torrential storms. The weather, however, was fantastic, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub (saltwater--a pleasant surprise!). The beach was really great; our girls really enjoyed hunting for sea glass. Our older one discovered some old glass that dated back to pre-WWII and had trace amounts of uranium in it (it glows bright green under UV light). After that, looking for sea glass was all they wanted to do.... I don't know if all Seascape units are as nicely appointed, but this one was clean, modern, and comfortable. I can't recall if it is in the description, but it has a nice collection of puzzles and board games.

One of the best oceanfront homes my family has ever stayed in—an absolute gem! The location is unbeatable, offering breathtaking views and the soothing sound of waves right at your doorstep. The house itself is beautifully designed, combining a cozy, inviting atmosphere with modern comforts. It feels like a private retreat, perfect for relaxing and creating lasting memories. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

We had such a lovely stay at Terri's place. She is a wonderful host and has set her bungalow up perfectly for comfort and enjoyment. We enjoyed using the grill for dinner and the outside firepit with friends. Can't wait to go back! Thank you Terri!

We had an incredible stay at Bjorn's Airbnb! The place was not only clean and beautifully decorated, but it also had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. What truly made this experience exceptional was Bjorn, we were in Aptos to attend a wedding and needed an iron :), Bjorn quickly brought us the iron and ironing board (although we didn't need it anymore)! A++ for us! He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. I can’t recommend this place enough—thank you for an amazing place!

It is a lovely home but it is the location that is so special. There is pathway right across the street that goes directly to the ocean and its long, long beaches. It was an amazing place to stay.

The sound of the creek flowing water was a treat. The redwood trees in the yard are impressive. The kitchen worked well for Thanksgiving meal prep and enjoyed the big kitchen table. Great combination of a restored home with modern upgrades. Extremely clean and well equipped. Jenni communicates well and provided great recommendations. We are very thankful to have the opportunity to stay at this house.

So beautiful, really loved the sound of the waves throughout the day and night, it was great to just grab a couple chairs and walk right to the beach! Such a beautiful and cool house too, it was so high tech and wonderful! The host was very responsive and helpful! We loved it very much will be staying again when we come that way!

We had a nice relaxing long weekend in this charming doll house and it was a perfect place for our girls weekend.

My family had a wonderful time staying at Joanne's place in Seascape! This was a Christmas gift for my parents, and they absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach, and you can see the ocean from the condo. The space was very comfortable for our group of five adults, with room to relax in the living room and eat together at the dining table. The kitchen was relatively well-stocked, which made it easy to prepare meals. One standout feature was the projector, which was a great addition for movie nights. The only downside was that the WiFi connection for the projector was a bit spotty. Joanne was super helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Having traveled around the world and stayed in numerous Airbnb homes, I can confidently say this was one of the most beautiful and impeccably clean properties we’ve ever stayed in. Our experience with Airbnb has often been that, while guests are granted access to the property, hosts rarely go above and beyond to make their guests feel genuinely comfortable, as hotels typically strive to do. On top of that, with additional California fees, it’s easy to leave feeling shortchanged. Unfortunately, this seems to have become a common culture on Airbnb. However, that was absolutely not the case here. David anticipated every little amenity a guest might need, and the attention to detail was remarkable. The towels and bedding were luxurious, and the property was immaculate. It was the perfect start to 2025 for us. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

We stay at Seascape a couple of times a year, we love the location: beautiful beach walks, pools and hot tubs, walk to the market, and then just a quick drive to Capitola, downtown Santa Cruz, or even the boardwalk. This particular rental was lovely and very homey. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, the kitchen is well appointed, there are two nice balconies- one with a great table that is perfect for cocktails or coffee. There are two pullout couches, which made the living room so fun to watch movies with the teenagers. More than anything, we appreciated the very accommodating host, who was kind enough to let us check in early so that we could leave our bags while we went shopping downtown. It was really a lovely stay. I recommend both Seascape, and this particular rental, very highly.

We had a perfect stay with our grandsons. Great location relative to local attractions, lots to do on the property, comfortable gathering space with both indoor and outdoor eating options, and well stocked kitchen. Our unit was beautifully prepared, very clean with comfortable bedding and plenty of towels. Nilda was always prompt with suggestions and assistance. We’ll be back!

Really enjoyed our stay at Tess’s place. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or hot tub because we went exploring, but the grounds were beautiful and the condo was just as pictured. It was perfect for a three day stay. Tess was very clear with instructions and responsive.

We loved our stay at Tyler’s place! It exceeded our expectations, well appointed home, clean and welcoming, great location, a lovely stroll down to the beach, an easy walk to great views overlooking the Pacific. Also, lots of fun attractions in every direction. We’re already planning on returning again.

Travis was a wonderful host , he was good with communication . Had a fabulous condo felt like we were home. The patio view was nice. Nice place to enjoy the sound of waves and to relax. 10/10

Although it was raining and could not use outdoor sitting at all, it didn't stop us from enjoying beach and spectacular sunsets through clouds !! Just Amazing!
