The apartment is perfect for a weekend stay. It is close to Somerset Mall and the beach if you have a car. Although the apartment is close to a busy main road it did not bother us over the weekend. It is equipped for a comfortable stay with nice complimentary soaps in the bathroom and an induction stove and airfryer in the kitchen.

Spencer and Ame's place is really a place to feel good. The amenities are amazing. In addition to the usual household and kitchen utensils, there is a barbecue grill and a stone oven, which you can also use for beautiful evenings together. The pool combined with the view 10/10. Spencer's intro was also great. Through him, we knew where to go and his recommendations remained accurate. Accommodation: stylish, modern and well-equipped Host: super friendly and communicative P.S. Even when we forgot our babyphone display, Ame and Spencer sent us an Uber driver who took another hour so that we could use the station again. Thanks again for this effort. We can only recommend the place.

Mark and Nicky are amazing hosts and make you feel at home in their cottage without being intrusive or crossing boundaries. Issues were dealt with very quickly and Mark is very responsive in communicating. The unit is set in a peaceful and beautiful suburb and is close to wine estates, parks, a sports complex, shops and restaurants. We started of as strangers but after 30 days left as good friends. Highly recommended and well worth the price.

We stayed for two nights but wished we could have stayed longer! The studio was absolutely charming and had everything we needed. It felt like a hidden retreat, surrounded by stunning nature, giving us a peaceful, off-grid experience. Walking around with their dog felt safe and even more special as it happily showed us the breathtaking surroundings. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Thanks for having us, we would love to come back one day!

The space was perfect for me, it's ideally situated for access to almost everything that Stellenbosch offers. Izette is a wonderful host and communication was easy. The interior has everything you need, especially the coffee! Couldn't have asked for a better place! Will recommend!

Anette was a really lovely, kind and helpful host. We rented her apartment for almost one month and really enjoyed our stay. Every time, we would have a question, she was really nice and ready to help us at any time. The apartment was exactly the same like it looks on the pictures, maybe even bigger than we expected. It was really clean and the fact that there was a cleaning lady once per week was really great to help keep it this way. In general, you have everything you need. The area was really calm and peaceful, we felt safe at any time. We would always recommend the apartment.

Thanks to all the incredible staff, we had an incredible time, got an upgraded room with aircon & fan, there’s an option for breakfast at additional cost. It is 2 minutes from everything, I highly recommend this place. We will be back!

Thanks for all the thoughful gestures from the three different types of coffee, hot chocolate, lemons and right down to the olive oil. You go out of your way to make sure your guests are looked after and checked in daily if we needed any more milk or anything else. Your outdoor kitchen is something special, including all the braai facilities. Your pool and sunbathing area is stunning and overall we just loved our time there, relaxing and just switching off. You are both two beautiful people and your pup is awesome 😊 Thanks once again!

Wauw, what a stunning location in the middle of the vineyards. Close to Stellenbosch and Ubers do pick ups from the location so your wine tasting won’t be jeopardized. I did not fully read all the information in advance (which is never smart anyways), which made us drive a longer route. Read the given information carefully, as everything is mentioned by the host. Google maps does work, but again, read the instructions to avoid any longer routes. There were quite some mosquitoes, so don’t forget to bring spray, as there is no net above the bed. Our last evening, we just stayed at home for the sunset with some self brought food and wine. Recommend to do so, as it’s worth to stay at home! Thank you for our stay, we will definitely come back and I wish we stayed longer.

We had a wonderful stay in Somerset West. Easy check-in, friendly hosts and spotless accommodation. Highly recommend.

We travelled for a wedding nearby - Fiona and Martin very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Never too busy to greet and see that we were comfortable. Location excellent for shopping and touring Stellenbosch, Somerset West. Loved the views and the swimming pool. But most of all, the friendliness of all at Acara stood out and will bring us back 😀

A visit to Jane's place allowed access to tranquil surroundings and views of the mountains surrounding Somerset West! A morning Nespresso on the patio was the perfect start to anyone's day and the hosts are friendly, inviting and take genuine interest in your comfort and convenience. With all the amenities of home it was an excellent base of operations for our stay. It is well equipped, clean, comfortable, easy to find and ideally located with on site (off-street) parking big enough for a double cab Hilux bakkie being a huge plus!

Brian and Marion can be designated as an ideal host couple and the place was a real top choice.

Our family had a lovely stay! Relaxed and peaceful location with beautiful views and surroundings. We especially enjoyed the walks through the vineyards with our young son. Location is very close to several exceptional wine farms and just a few minutes from Stellenbosch for shops and restaurants. Had a great time.

We enjoyed staying in Antoinette’s home for a couple of days. The place including the garden is massive and quietly situated. We felt at home, and also enjoyed the French bakery just around the corner. Antoinette is very hospitable and very responsive, while leaving you private to enjoy this beautiful venue.

Shani's place is very spacious and good. Everything we need is available there. Beautiful place gor a large group.
