We had such a wonderful stay! The hot tub was amazing and the backyard was super relaxing! The house had a calm beach vibe and we really loved that! Allison and Ritchie were super kind and responsive! The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful, we walked to the water to see a beautiful sunset. We truly enjoyed our stay!!!

The home was spacious and clean. Stores, beach, restaurants, and activities all within walking distance. Highly recommend! Sandra was very responsive and the maintenance people were quick to arrive and address a burnt out light bulb even though we advised it wasn’t an emergency. Great place to stay and great people to work with.

Great location, perfect walk to the beach, almost like oceanfront. Great hang out space and kitchen. Lots of extra blankets, fan for the white noise people. Great outdoor shower and basketball hoop. Walk to the beach was quick and not too challenging. Clean pool and hot tub!!! Would definitely come back!!!

This was a perfect place for a large family to stay. The location is perfect as it's walkable to private beach where there is hardly any crowd. There are various restaurants within a mile of this location and everything was available for a great time.

Did a mini family reunion for the weekend at Lisa’s place and had a great time. The place is even better in person and was very *clean.* This is always a big one for me with Airbnb. Location was great with easy access to the beach, where there is free parking. Great amenities and touches like beach gear and snacks/water for guests. Last but not least, Lisa communicated quickly and efficiently and was so accommodating with check in/check out.

Great stay! The place was as described and the proactive communication/ instructions made for an easy check in, stay, and check out. I really enjoy staying at places that match the written description and align with what is represented in the photos. I did not have to "work" to stay here. I did not understand (my own fault - it was in the description) the resort amenities that came along with the rental. Having access to the sports center was a welcome surprise - especially for my son who took advantage of the weight room. The staff at the sports center were very welcoming and helpful. The private pool and hot tub were clean and working properly. The walk to the beach was very easy - 3 houses down, and 3 houses to the left to the beach access walkway - less than five minutes - very easy walk. Loved having a nice coffee maker that grinds whole beans! LOL! I will be keeping this house on the wish list for future visits to Corolla. Thank you for a great week!

This listing is exactly what you see and is perfect for one or two people. I loved the decor, it was very quiet, and the walk to the beach is 5 minutes on the nose (I timed it). I had a few questions and the hosts were very friendly with a fast response time. I loved the outdoor shower to rinse all the sand off. I would stay again and highly recommend.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Michael's place. The cottage was located with easy access to the beach and pier and with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby.

I just want to preface this by saying I have autism with ocd, so I am VERY particular about things. This house is so clean, it almost made me wonder if it was a showroom; they even cleaned dust from the ceiling fans. Everything is so organized and there are even labels on the drawers and other things. The furniture and decor are a little “dated” but in the best way possible. It feels like a very loved home, like if I visited distant family for holidays rather than just a plain rental house. As much as I enjoyed my time, I think my dogs enjoyed it even more thanks to the yard and comfy couches; there are even dog bowls in the kitchen to use if you need them. Everything is thoughtfully placed and so well kept. The cleaner is amazing, the host is amazing, for my very first airbnb, I think I’ve been too spoiled haha

We loved our stay! Plenty of room, comfortable furniture, a yard for the dogs, and everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner! This is tucked away in a residential neighborhood, which was blissfully peaceful, but it still so was close to all the OBX has to offer! It took us less than 5 minutes to drive to the beach and there are plenty of restaurants, stores, and activities nearby. Amanda was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. Our only regret was not having more time to enjoy the bikes or the fire pit!

Great place with a wonderful host!!! It was perfect for our weekend work trip. Home itself was cozy and well appointed. Backyard was spacious, fully fenced in, and grassed, a rare find in OBX! Look forward to coming back! ♥️

Very comfortable and spacious apartment with a beautiful yard. The neighborhood is very nice and we were comfortable walking there. Super comfy beds and nice little well stocked kitchen. The spa shower was awesome. The homemade cookies were a special touch of hospitality. Highly recommended!

very cute little cottage it has everything you need and felt great to bring one of my fur baby's with us , the only issue was the tv in living room needs new batteries and I forgot about it until writing this review, we wwant to make anther trip back soon !

Grouper Therapy is conveniently located - walkable to beach, sound, restaurants/stores in Duck, and neighborhood pool. The house had a floor plan with 3 King bedrooms + 1 more that worked perfectly for our family. The kitchen was well appointed - provides everything you need if you want to cook in. We appreciated all the extras provided - high chair, beach chairs, carts, tv in every bedroom. Our family really enjoyed our week in Duck.

Spacious home with high end furniture, window treatments and other amenities. Incredibly outfitted kitchen with multiple small appliances and cookware. Bedrooms were huge and beautifully decorated. Four full bathrooms and one half bath made it convenient for all of us. Pool was a huge hit with our family. Convenient mini kitchen on ground floor was a great addition! Neighborhood was so beautiful, private, and nice to walk.

We had a great time at Connie's place, "U Found Dory". The house was very clean, the walk to the beach was very doable (even for my 6 and 9 year old grandchildren). The pool and hot tub were great. The neighborhood was quiet. We had a great time star gazing from the top deck and a small telescope was also on hand! The place was exactly as advertised and pictured. Easy to find and pretty convenient to a lot that the Outer Banks has to offer. My only advice for when you come is to bring some basic essentials and (like toilet paper, paper towels) as there were neither when we arrived. We also wished we would have brought our own towels as the ones at the house weren't great. But...take care of those minor issues and you are in for a real treat at "U Found Dory!"

Even with all the rain during our beach week, we had a great time at this dog-friendly cottage. The screened-in porches made catching up with family outside bug free. Nice pool, corn hole and hammock were nice to have as well. Short walk down quiet unpaved street to beautiful beach. So many restaurants & activities nearby!

We had a great stay at Michelle’s place! The house was spacious and had a great layout for our family. There was plenty of room on the large sofa, and we loved dining on the screened in porch. The house is in a great location with easy access to the grocery store and plenty of restaurants. We rented bikes and the kids loved biking to the pool and around the large neighborhood. The beach was a little bit of a walk but was definitely doable especially with a wagon to haul our things. The house is also a short drive to a great sound side beach. Michelle was very responsive and clear with communication. When we had an issue with the WiFi she resolved it right away. Check in was also a breeze. Between the beach, pool, paddle boarding on the sound, reading on the porch, board games, and surf lessons for the kids (Endless Summer Surf OBX) we had a fabulous week! We would definitely choose Michelle’s place for our Avon vacation again!

Perfect for 2 families to stay over Thanksgiving. Plenty of space, 3 mins walk to the beach for sunrise & strolls, well stocked kitchen, lots of seating, peaceful surroundings and we really enjoyed watching sunset from the Village Tavern at the end of the road. Tracey was really helpful. We’d love to come back again sometime!

I can’t possibly put into words the experience we had. From the time I booked till checkout. Communication was quick. Answered each every one of my questions. And trust me I asked a lot. Was checking in to make sure we were good. Check in was easy breezy. House is nice and spacious. We were a family of 12 and made out great. The kids loved having the whole bottom level. They weee close to the hot tub. Kitchen had a nicely stocked little pantry. We cooked our Thanksgiving dinner with ease. We were able to find all pots, pans and even storage containers we needed already supplied. The gas fireplace was my favorite. Really warms up the top floor nicely. The views from the deck of the sunrises were amazing. I just can’t say enough. Other than we will definitely be going back.

We love coming back to Rick’s condo for our quick getaways. It’s feels like home for us. And Rick is a wonderful host. Can’t wait to see the renovations next time we visit.
