Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cape Breton Regional Municipality

We so enjoyed our stay at Silvia's cozy home in Sydney Mines. The house was impeccably clean and clutter free - allowing space for all our belongings. The decor was truly lovely. The house felt very spacious with many different spaces to spend time indoors. The house was truly charming! The backyard felt so private with lovely flowers and a shaded deck with seating. The house was easy to find and had an easy to access driveway. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches in the house - the kitchen had everything you would want. The entry room with all the hooks and places for shoes was fantastic. I really appreciated all the local information - bird books, beach guides, maps, etc. There was great communication with Silvia. The house was convenient for traveling to museums, historic sites, beaches, and seeing puffins on the Bird Island Boat Tour. We had a wonderful time staying in Silvia's house - she was a fantastic host!

Very convenient location. Nice and clean. I called about something minor and they responded immediately. You will not regret staying here. It's clean it's quiet and it's in a nice area local to everything. Highly recommend !

We wouldn’t change a thing! The house was adorable, spotless, has a beautiful view and Vee left muffins and fruit in the house waiting for us! Loved being able to use a washer and dryer, everything seemed new and comfy, not like “leftovers” being used to decorate a rental. Do not pass on this home!!!

This was a relaxing winter weekend. We loved the hot tub. Beds were comfortable. This place was fully equipped with all the essentials and more. I will be back :)

There are not enough words to say how outstanding the experience was at Caper Landing and with our host Nikki. I don’t know what else could have been provided but a generous basket of gifts including a lobster stuffie and knit swag toque hats for all 10 of us set the scene for all the delights of the place. So many amenities, even fireproof blankets for the fire pit, the spa like bathrooms, the most fully equipped kitchen I had ever seen, all added up to a luxury hotel experience with Airbnb convenience for a large party. Both levels were unbelievably kitted out, with the lower level giving us all we needed in a second gathering space with all the toys including shuffleboard, games, card table and so much more. Two mirrored floors of beds and baths, with two principle suites and two extra full baths meant everyone had privacy and restful retreats. Everything was first class and beyond. We are booking our return for next year! Brava, Nikki, you rock!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Melissa's home. We arrived late and woke up to the breath-taking view. We took a walk down to the docks and it was a beautiful way to spend the morning. Everything was perfect at the house, with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

First time staying at Sara’s. Was all I needed. Service was excellent. Warm comfortable space. Love the extra touches. Christmas tree, toiletries, complimentary wine and ofcourse the gym.

Janine & Paul were fantastic hosts. Helpful, understanding and kind with a few issues that came up for us during our trip. The space was large and roomy, uncluttered and tastefully decorated. For a basement apartment, it was light and very quiet. We ate most of our meals a the airbnb and they had a very well stocked kitchen with everything we needed and beyond. Plush towels, extra blankets, Netflix and a Roku tv were provided. We give the place and our host a 10/10 and would definitely stay here again! Thank you Janine & Paul!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this sweet little studio Airbnb and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. The studio was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy and the kitchen was well-equipped for me to prepare meals during my stay. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a shower. The location of the studio was also fantastic, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The host was also very accommodating and communicative, making sure all of my needs were met during my stay. Overall, I highly recommend the sweet little studio Airbnb to anyone looking for a charming and cozy place to stay. I will definitely be returning in the future.
