Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Canton of Bern

We rented the place to celebrate the new year, accompanied by other families with children. Everything went really well, Caroline was extremely welcoming, very responsive and available throughout our stay. The accommodation and the equipment perfectly met our expectations. The possibility of snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and tobogganing a short walk away is delighting young and old alike. We would rent this home again without a second thought. Thanks to our hosts.

Willy and Therese are great hosts and Hotel Bären is such a lovely place. The rooms are super fresh, great beds and sheets. Practical solutions makes the stay even better. Food was great, both dinner and breakfast. We are super excited to go back 🙏😍 Highly recommended!

The best stay. The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant is so good. Therese, Willy, and all the people in the hotel, including Melissa who is always with a great spirit and helping all the time, are such wonderful people. We came back happy from the Bären !

Very welcoming host! Restaurant serving quality local food! Good atmosphere and holiday atmosphere in the mountains! And what to say about the scenery! Beautiful views of the valleys around the cottage! I recommend it!

This was a lovely hotel. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, great location. But the highlight for us was the amazing complimentary breakfast (alos, be sure to make a reservation for dinner while there). The staff all gave personal recommendation on the best hikes and where to find cows (one of the things I really wanted to see). Also, although it was just me and my husband, we noticed that this was a very family friendly hotel and town if you are coming with kids. Just come! You will love it here :-)

We were pleasantly surprised as the accommodation was better than expected. The view was exceptional and the room itself was very comfortable, quiet, warm and welcoming. A nice touch was the unlimited coffee provided and other extras supplied if needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful place in the woods. Good Value for money. We cooked our evening meal and enjoyed a glass of wine with the other guest - had a great time

Urs is a treasure of knowledge, wisdom and life experience, he made me feel welcome and comfortable and we had enjoyable and even illuminating chats at breakfast. He is very attentive and aesthetically driven which is reflected in how well the room is set up and presented. As much as I loved the room and the location is idyllic, for me, meeting Urs was the highlight that I am most grateful for.

We had a great stay at Lili’s Naturehouse hostel - it was exactly what we were looking for - somewhere a little off the beaten tourist path of the Interlaken area that allowed for us to feel as though we were truly sleeping in the beautiful mountains of Switzerland, in a traditional Swiss house. Clean bedding, clean shared bath and plenty of a la carte options. Enjoyed the hammock and the view! Thank you for hosting us, Lili and family!

This place was a dream! We had such a wonderful stay here and Céline was a terrific host. The views surrounding the property are STUNNING, and the lodge was beautiful. The location was great for surrounding hikes, too — just a 25 minute drive to Kandersteg (the base of Lake Oeschinensee), and about the same to Lauterbrunnen, the base for our hike in Mürren. We had a beautiful local breakfast that filled us up in the morning, in a dining hall with great views. And everything was very clean. The only note I’ll make is the room we stayed in was quite small, especially the bathroom. It was perfect for us, but could be challenging for a larger person. All in all, I couldn’t recommend this stay enough and we’ll be back if we’re ever in Switzerland! I’ve already shared this spot with friends :) Thanks Céline!

Wow…what a great place🤩 Me and my partner had the best time here, the views from the bedroom were breathtaking! Highly recommend this airbnb, it was very clean and super easy to find. We walked only 15 minutes from Grindelwald train station to the hotel, not bad at all! Thank you for having us Peter ☺️

Peter’s place was great! It’s about a 10mins walk into the main town, it was perfect for the kids! There were 4 single beds, but you partition off 2 of the beds which was again great for the kids needing to go to sleep before us! The view was simply splendid! We enjoyed our stay, it was like staying in a hotel room, but you had everything you needed including a mini kitchenette! Would recommend 😊

Hello, thank you lili for hosting us at your place and thank you to Emilia for her warm welcome. Attention to access especially by motorcycle, the asphalt to suffer and the slope is steep. Atypical accommodation surrounded by forest I recommend:-)

Was a unified managed apartment with a queen bed and a small bed, the view was nice and needed to take a bus to the train station which was generally satisfactory.

Great view from balcony …spacious apartment…close to bus stop …only downside is there is no bus after 7pm in the evening…so the walk back from town is a bit of a struggle since it’s uphill
