Beachfront holiday rental in Calvert Beach-Long Beach

This place is even prettier in person! The water view is so calming and the decor is amazing! Every bed in the house was super comfy and everything was spotless. The host were super nice and always responsive to any questions or concerns I had. The house accommodated 8 guest perfectly and local stores weren’t too far away. My favorite part of the house was the large dining area and table….great for making memories! Loved everything about my stay and I look forward to coming back to visit :).

My family lives in different states & we all met at Dave's to celebrate Christmas together. Even without all the obvious summer appeal & activities, this spot was perfect for us. The property is as described, with gorgeous bay views that give you a different scene every day. The house is well sized, with a nice, neutral decor, multiple seating and table options (inside & out) and laid out so that there are quiet spots and community spots. We appreciated the sinks, faucets, sliding doors and overall color scheme. We enjoyed the Christmas touches - which were really tasteful (not too much and not too little) and scattered through ever room. Our favorites were the lighted trees in the dining area and the entryway. We spent most of our time in the house and around the fire pit, with one day trip to Washington, DC - easy in and out was a big plus! Having the linens clearly wrapped and laid out in each bedroom was a nice reassuring touch, although the house was immaculate. Loved it!

This was the perfect place for us to spend some much needed time to relax and reconnect with nature. This house is absolutely amazing! Clean open contemporary design with walls of windows facing the water and the nature outside. Thoughtful touches throughout the house make it feel extra special. We were lucky enough to be there for a nice snow fall which made the place that much more magical. The storm would have impacted our departures, so Evan graciously offered us another night to avoid traveling in the snow. The house has everything you need for a luxurious escape with a beautiful view, and amazing hosts. We will definitely be returning.

We loved the house; cozy, nicely decorated, with many pieces of original art that really added character. The kitchen is well stocked for those who like to cook. The location right on the water was wonderful, and Nancy provided kayaks, which we took advantage of. Our dog was beside himself with so much room to run. Nancy’s daughter and family live next door, and we spent quite a few hours enjoying conversation and local knowledge with them. We would go back again.

This house was great! It had everything we needed while traveling with a baby. Jacqueline was so helpful, friendly and such a pleasant person. Very caring and was available everyone I reached out to her. The house was very comfortable. Our group of 10 had no complaints. I would 100 percent recommend this house to friends and family. Wonderful host—I felt right at home. Had conversation prior to arrival and felt like I knew her very well before arriving. The view was spectacular I could have just sat on the patio and watched the woods and water all day. Was there for a school reunion so I had other activities that I had scheduled. This was by far, the best Air B&B experience I have had. Fantastic host, comfortable, and stunning scenery. I am going to try and revisit soon.

This was a great place to get away with our two daughters. The house is thoughtfully decorated with a creative board game theme, and well stocked with game activities to unplug ourselves from our phones. The views over the creek are gorgeous. Very relaxing. Would love to come again.

We had a wonderful family thanksgiving! The kitchen was perfect for our needs!

We had a wonderful time over the Thanksgiving weekend. The condo was just as described, and even more impressive than the photos show. Lots of nice little touches, including a welcome basket with wine and snacks. The view of the beach and river from the balcony was beautiful, especially at sunrise. Although it’s a quiet time of year there, we still found plenty to do. We ate in most meals, but did have a delicious lunch at the Sunflower Cafe, and the guys visited the brewery next door. There’s a delightful Art Gallery just across from the parking lot. We’d love to come back sometime when the weather’s warmer and enjoy Colonial Beach in full swing. Our host was very responsive to any questions. All in all, a great place for a winter holiday celebration. Thank you Brittany!

Views for miles! The location couldn't be better and the host was always responsive and helpful. This unit sits right on the potomac river and morning sunrises were my favorite part of my day. Walk to many restaurants and entertainment

A nice peaceful place to stay. Easy to get into town. A little tricky to find the first turn off the main road, but once you see the sign it makes sense. Would bring everything you need including ingredients to cook (sugar for coffee, salt, etc). But cleaning supplies are there and it's all very comfortable.

This was a wonderful getaway for my family and friends. We had two toddlers that loved the river beach and pool. There were plenty of toys to keep the kids and adults busy!

Loved the place! Can’t wait to visit again in warmer months to take advantage of all there is to offer. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

The location is amazing and the property is spectacular. Joshua was easy to communicate with and the place was exactly what we wanted for a weekend getaway on the Wye River. The views are amazing and the convenience of the location was great. Crabbing in the Wye River, lunch at St Michael’s, or fishing in the Bay. All are short rides via the water from here. We had a great stay here. The location is great and less than 2 hours from DC. The house was large and cozy, with everything we needed to enjoy our quiet weekend. The restaurants and breweries in town were also a lot of fun. We fully intend to come back and visit soon!

Absolutely incredible location for bay sunrises. The house was clean and very well stocked. Beds were comfortable and towels super soft. I would recommend this location for anyone looking for some quiet.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin in Lusby. The location is beautiful! We were incredibly lucky to observe variety of birds out the window every morning. The hot tub and grill were functional, and we had no problem using it. The kitchen had all sorts of tools for cooking, which does not happen in every Airbnb. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would like to come back! The only concern I noticed is that sound travels very easily throughout the house.

This was SUCH a beautiful property. The house, the lot, the dock, the water, the sun rises and sun sets—absolutely perfect for a relaxing girls’ trip. I will absolutely be back with other friends and with my family.

We absolutely love staying at this Airbnb! It’s perfect for our family and we use it every time we’re in town. The location is walkable to several great restaurants and boutiques. Beautiful views from the Front Porch, Gazebo, Master Bedroom and even the kitchen window and guest bedroom. The entire home is fully stocked with everything you need. Laurence has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We look forward to continue making beautiful family memories in this home.

Our family traveled from South Carolina for a funeral in LaPlata MD (a short drive away from this home). Jane's property was just what we needed to accommodate our family of 6. The house was clean, comfortable and well equip with everything that was needed. The ping pong table in the garage provided much needed entertainment when we had down time. The views were absolutely beautiful and we can not wait to come back. While there we enjoyed crabs at Captain John's crab house a couple of miles away. I would totally recommend this home to anyone that is traveling for business, leisure or just a peaceful, quiet getaway. Thanks Jane for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us.

We stayed here at Thanksgiving. Our family had no trouble cooking for 6 people. They have a lovely kitchen including cooking knives and all pots and pans. View of the lake is beautiful. Master Bedroom quiet and lovely windows to the woods in back and right out on to a lovely deck looking out at the lake. It was November. We went for a hike at Calvert Cliffs and bought our Christmas tree from a local tree farm. The lake is quiet this time of year. Peaceful. Aaaaahhhhhhh
