It was actually better than I was hoping for and I already had high hopes. We had a great time.

I would give this place six stars if I could - my friends and I had a wonderful stay at Son’s Rio Cibolo! The entire process from start to finish was straightforward and easy, and the host was extremely responsive when we had questions or concerns. The ranch is at a beautiful location alongside a river with lots of things to do. My friends and I were not able to take full advantage of the amenities because we were only there for a few days and had to be in San Antonio for most of the trip. However, our waterfront cabin was incredibly peaceful and provided the perfect place to come back at the end of the day and relax. We would definitely come back will the sole purpose of enjoying the ranch and all it has to offer!

This is a beautiful property with plenty to do. The treehouse was comfortable, roomy, and had everything we needed! The back porch was amazing!

We had a wonderful time! There are a lot of great things to do for the boys, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming! The place is clean, comfortable and convenient to the city. It has everything we need. Close to the city and has its own unique outdoor nature! Highly recommended! Thanks again!

WOW!!! This place was such an incredible experience and there is no way to display in an airbnb ad how wonderful it is. We stayed in a cabin. The view was perfect. I’m so happy to find somewhere like this to go to without driving very far. Bed was super comfy, the cabin has all the basics and then some, ac was more than adequate. Thank you so much for offering such a beautiful place to stay.

Absolutely perfect from the beginning with an online inquiry to us creating so many memories we haven't stopped talking about our time there since arriving home!!! The place had such a fun vibe & the coolest location on the river - it was an absolutely beautiful and meticulously manicured environment inside & out! Stayed in a raised 'tent' & truly enjoyed the setting. Every detail was thought out in these little cabins, it made our stay for 2 nights while we attended the Cattle Country Music Festival perfect & very relaxing!!! Having a full sized fridge was a huge factor in making our reservation since we planned on staying 'home' while we were there. The fire pit was perfect - as was that they sold AND DELIVERED firewood on-site from the little snack /bait shop across from the pools. The staff at Son's was great too - ALL were very friendly, always ready to offer assistance and extremely responsive when needed. GOING BACK FOR SURE with my husband and son... AND SOON!!!!

Great stay and beautiful accommodations.

We loved Sherry's place! We had three families of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids each) all stay comfortably. Everything was clean and we felt it was much larger than what was represented by the photos. The kids enjoyed the pool and we caught and released several perch, bass, and catfish in the pond. Plenty of space for the adults to relax both indoors and outdoors. Conveniently located just off the highway but still felt very secluded. Host was responsive and we have no complaints. We'd for sure visit again.

The catfish cabin was everything we wanted. We needed a quiet, scenic getaway to reset and found it at Tom’s place. It was beautiful, close to the city and easy to find! Would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed my stay. I was in town for family issues, not a vacation so was looking for a comfortable place on my own. It was off season so quiet. I enjoyed walking by the river. The cottage was clean and easy to relax in. The bed was only moderately comfortable and the sheets were thin/worn but not a big deal.

Great quiet location on the river. Very comfortable relaxing space. Very clean and organized, had everything we needed, loved the large shower. Nice to be able to bring my small dog. Enjoyed the double patio doors allowing full view of the back yard and river. Would definitely book again if in the area.

A wonderful place, can't wait for summer to go again

This centrally located cabin was clean and comfortable. It was a great value, considering our last minute plans for the final four weekend. It’s in a nice and quiet neighborhood with easy access to lovely San Antonio spots like the Pearl, downtown, and the quarry.

We enjoyed our stay at the Nook & Cranny! Place was very clean & although dogs are welcome you couldn’t tell or smell dogs have stayed here-huge plus for me! The place was very comfortable & peaceful. You have to come see the beautiful view, it’s amazing! Perfect place to unwind & relax! Definitely would love to visit again!

The photos of the property’s river access don’t do it justice. It is extremely convenient and a great location. Cathy was a phenomenal host that was extremely responsive. The place was very clean. Only thing to note is that if you have taller guests, the beds upstairs are small. But the king bed downstairs is huge and there is a room with two queens next to it. One bathroom downstairs and one bathroom upstairs. We would still recommend bringing shampoo/conditioner/body wash, if you have a larger group. The hotel size bottle provided for each bathroom did not suffice. Would also recommend water shoes for hanging out in the river access. The open layout living room/dining area/kitchen was perfect for our larger group.

My family and I had a great time here. Had everything we wanted to do from basketball fishing pools then night time bbq and roasting marshmallows.. Beautiful place pictures don’t do it justice. We will definitely be back.

Our Stay at Son's Rio Cibolo was amazing! The safari cabins have everything you need for an enjoyable, comfortable & hassle free stay! What makes it awesome is the property! They have 100 acres with 2 miles of creek frontage and all kinds of amenities and things to do: like kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, swimming, volleyball, basketball. hiking, game room and more! Highly recommend. We plant to go back yearly!

Had a great time with the family. Roasted marshmallows and hotdogs on the fire pit and took a nice hike by the creek. The staff at the office were friendly and helpful.

Really cute cabins. My kids loved everything about it. We went to the river to play but didn’t know the kayaks were not part of the stay so we had to pay extra for that. (I’m sure it says they are available in the description) we just thought it was part of the package. Overall the place was beautiful. We enjoyed everything but of it. Can’t wait to come back.

We had an amazing stay for a quick girls trip. The cabins had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, salt, pepper, oil, etc. AC and fans worked perfectly in this Texas heat and we were very pleased with how cool it remained for the duration of our trip. It was very peaceful and the best part was being right on the river, which flowed really well past the cabin and made for a great day, sitting in the water and enjoying the surroundings. Lots of people kayaking through or nearby fishing. Next time I’m definitely going to bring my pole, lots of big fish in the middle of the river and it’s walkable for about 100 yards up river and about 150 yards down river, on the other side of the rapids. 100%, will stay again.
