Lake house holiday rentals in Caddo lake

The Americana is the kind of place I wish I could just keep a secret- but Mark and Carrie are too good of hosts to do that to! The absolute definition of above and beyond perfection in an airbnb. We throughly enjoyed our stay, our hosts were very kind and communicative, the amenities provided were ample, and the area is peaceful- my ideal vacation! Thank you, and we can’t wait to be back!

Loved our stay at Sunset cove. Very peaceful with great views of water. Sunsets were amazing to watch from the living room with the fireplace burning. Beds were very comfortable and lake house well stocked. Will put on radar to come again, wish we could bring our small furr baby.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house is beautiful, well thought out design and very clean. The sleeping area is separate from gathering area and that worked wonderful for napping toddlers. The bathrooms are very spacious and well lit. The laundry room is great when you are staying for over a week with family. We even got to enjoy the pool since it hit 85* in February. Many hours spent in the hot tub Beds are awesome and very comfortable. The house is not at all cluttered and very tastefully decorated. The view of the lake was so peaceful and felt so private. Had a little luck fishing in the lake but mostly just enjoyed family time in this lovely home. GW is so kind and welcoming, he makes you fell like family. If we are ever in the area again we will see if this property is available to make more family memories.

We had the best experience at honey’s place. We came on a cold weekend for a guys trip. The waterfront location is perfect. Launching kayaks was easy and we explored the nearby area for hours. The scenery from the water is incredible. The large living room was a nice place for our group to hang out next to the fire. Sandy was very hospitable and she thought of everything ahead of time. We all appreciated how well stocked the place was, including the coffee supplies and chocolates.

This is Chris’s Lake house although it wasn’t set up like a hotel it was set up like a home and we liked that.

Very happy with the private, quiet location. The house was clean and as described. Oren made sure we knew he was available if we needed, but we didn’t need anything since everything was clearly described and explained! Would Return.

The cabin was warm and welcoming. The perfect place to spend a peaceful weekend away from all the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. Thank you for everything.

I've been wanting to visit Caddo Lake for some time now. I really just wanted to be among the moss covered cypress trees. Angela's house is perfect for this. I can't imagine a better back yard than this. We had the pond all to oursleves or at least it felt that way. We visited the state park and the main attraction there is the Saw Mill Pond. It is beautiful but I think the Paradise Pine pond, which is where this house is located, is better. The house is close to all the attractions. I recommend going over to the Johnson Ranch Marina for a boat tour, where you can see the actual Caddo lake and get some history of the area. Anyway, Angela's propery was a nice place to decompress and spend time with our family. The only thing I might have wished I would have brought with me was a kayak or paddle board. The back yard is perfect for it, at least in the cold while all the gaters were sleeping :)

Awesome location, beautiful and soothing view. Absolutely loved the place. We found 2 of the couches hard to sit in comfortably, but who stays inside much with this beautiful outdoors. The internet is not secured with password so you will have to hotspot. I would definitely stay here again, owners were absolutely cordial and awesome couple. I give the place a 9 out of 10 stars.

This home and surroundings are exactly as described by hosts! Clean and inviting, easily accessible, and was perfect for a low key relaxing getaway. The lake views from back deck are beautiful! Deck furniture is just what you need to get off your feet and enjoy the peace and quiet!

We love it!. We were 4 adults and 2 kids, we felt very comfortable, Alexandra's place is beautiful, it's just like the pictures. It has a lot of amenities, the front view lake that we felt in love, with the deck for our morning coffee, the kayaks, the grill, the full equipped kitchen, toys to entertain my kiddos, the nature sorroundings and we really like that it feels private. Alexandra was responsive and helpful, a great host. We would definitely stay here in the future if we are in the area.

Kirk’s place is exactly as described. We went during a cold snap and it was very comfortable. The fireplace made it very inviting. The host is very responsive, even before booking. It is good to note that the home is also good if you have any wheelchair guests with you. The kitchen is also very well equipped, we had everything we needed. The view of the lake is peaceful. Perfect for birdwatching during the day and stargazing at night. I can imagine it would be beautiful during spring and summer.

Great place and location. Kitchen stocked with utensils. Main shower needs a curtain, more towel racks, and a garbage disposal would’ve helped. Overall would stay here again without hesitation.

This is our second year to stay here for our “Cousin Christmas Reunion.” Great space, awesome view of lake; it’s wonderful that you can sit and peacefully have a cup of coffee while little kids run around safely outside.

We loved our stay! It was very cozy. Perfect spot for us to visit with our nearby family. We cant wait to stay again on our trips back to Louisiana! Thank you Jason!

This place was awesome, Mr. David was awesome and the location was awesome, so awesome we stayed not one but two extra nights. We didn’t want to leave , felt like home away from home. As we sat in the backyard with a beautiful view looking across the lake with lights from the beautiful stars glistening of the water made me smile and feel like I could live there forever. I listened to nature singing its songs throughout the night gave me and extra peace of mind. Mr. David was a super host making sure that we wanted for nothing and I’m already looking forward for the next visit. Thank you Mr. David for sharing your place and thank you for your hospitality!!

Great house. We were there just for the weekend but worth it. At first it seemed like a lot just for the weekend but the house was nice and not too far from things we were doing.

The house was clean and adequately furnished. The cove was beautiful with great fishing from the dock. I caught a 40 pound catfish there. We had a great Christmas trip with room for 10 people. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was wonderful! We had plenty of room and getting out in the kayak’s was something to remember. I wish we could have stayed longer and will book again if I am ever needing to come to the Shreveport area. Thankful for the peaceful and wonderful memories!

Our large group enjoyed the experience staying here and the set up was perfect. The water and trees surrounding the rear of the house created a peaceful and picturesque environment for our stay.

Great host! Susie was always responsive and made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend Top Water Cabin to anyone looking to visit Karnak and Caddo Lake State Park.
