We loved our stay at Hectors place! The entire experience was wonderful, the property is gorgeous, and his family that lives nearby is adorable. We all slept well each night and found everything very comfortable. We hope to stay here again!

1 Bedroom w/AC in Quimixto, Villa Ashanti!

DanielRating, 5 stars8 months ago
A totally remote place, the only access is by boat, that gives it a totally different touch. The villa is in good condition, comfortable, with everything you need, you have the comfort of making your food, in the village you find almost everything, our experience was very relaxing, the village of Quimixto is very quiet. Alejandra was always on the lookout, very kind, she gave me instructions on how to get there although at the beginning if it took us a little to find the accommodation, maybe just missing that; a little more signalling to be able to reach or locate the villa easily, in general our stay was very pleasant and quiet without details some would come back again!

Casa Romina: Beautiful Views of Yelapa Bay

SharonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Irving & Judy are amazing hosts. Set us up with best restaurants & everything is close by. As in every review, the view of the water & Playa Isabel is incredible. Saw lots of whales & fun to watch the water taxi traffic. This Puebla is magical & we hope to return; 5 days went by too fast!

Casa Nantli | King Size Bed and Balcony Room

JoanneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Exactly what we were hoping for, Clem cozy and simple. The balcony was a lovely addition that allowed us to enjoy the culture even on the days when we felt like staying in. A very easy walk from the dock to the door.

Oceanfront Beach House with A/C: Casa Angela

JanetRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Yelapa is one of our all time favorite places in Mexico! Our first trip we only stayed one night & this time we made it a 3 night stay:) What a perfect spot to spend it! Such a fabulous view & we love the open air kitchen/ living room area! It was such a bonus to have the loungers & umbrellas included at the beach. It was the end of our trip, so to be able to totally chill in such an idyllic spot was perfect! Next time we'll stay even longer!! Thanks & cheers from Jan & Dan NS, Canada

Casa Fresca

AnneRating, 5 stars6 days ago
A friend and I stayed in Casa Fresca in early March and it was perfect – the weather was great and the bugs were minimal. Getting to Yelapa is an adventure – but Alfonso’s instructions were helpful and Vico (the caretaker) met us off the boat and arranged for someone to help us with our bags (we paid him as well). There are a lot of stairs to get to the house from the pier but it is so worth it for the views and the quiet. The living room was more comfortable than I imagined and we spent almost a full day just lounging at the house. The bathroom was clean and the shower had hot water. The beds were comfortable and spotless. The staircase to the upstairs was fine for us, but if you have limited mobility it might be a challenge. We ate meals out but the kitchen would have been fun to cook in. Getting to the beach at the other side of town was took 15 or 20 minuets and it was fun when we went mid-week. If I ever get to go back to Yelapa – I would rent Casa Fresca again in a heartbeat.

Casa Sonrisa

LisaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Yelapa is heaven. We returned to Casa Sonrisa in 2024. Our first time back since 2015! Casa Sonrisa is still the perfect place to stay in Yelapa. It is simple and comfortable, safe and relaxing. The house is open to the ocean so you sleep and wake to the sound of the waves; it melds inside and nature. There are mosquito nets to keep the bugs out, but bring bug spray so you can hang out longer before bed. The kitchen provides all you need, bottled water, pots, fridge, coffee maker...all the basics. Karen and her caretaker Marilu take good care of you. If you are a fancy resort person who needs AC, this isn't the house or village for you. The house can be hard to find, so ask for explicit directions. Get a village map at the Bahia Restaurant (which is a great restaurant btw) to learn your way around. If you have an early flight out, plan to stay in Puerto Vallarta the night before. Don't rely on there being a taxi when you get off the 7:00 am panga in Boca.

Casa Los Conos

PaulRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved the place in Las Animas. It is definitely an adventure as you can only get there by boat. Leo was extremely helpful as well as all staff! You do walk through a restaurant and then the kitchen to get to your front door. once there the place is simple but very nice. 3BR with 2 full beds and one King. You do literally have the chef Pina and the staff to bring you anything you want from the kitchen. We even caught a yellow tail and they prepared it for us! Beach is nice but it is a fishing village with lots to do in para sail, jet ski horses or hikes. Take a short boat ride to other small towns for even more to do or fish and snorkel nearby. One thing to note is Las Animas is a day destination and literally everything closes at six. Bring your own food before you ride boat to lodging. Very crowded 10-6 empty by 6:30. Memo is an excellent host !

The house exceeded expectations in every way, amazing beautiful peaceful location, fantastic response time and helpfulness from Diana, comfortable beds, open uncluttered space, wonderful true Mexican neighbourhood with great people, great walk to beach and waterfalls, atmosphere was relaxing and the river made it tranquil, bathroom and kitchen were clean and well appointed with everything we needed as we enjoy cooking for ourselves, and once again Diana made our trip perfect with everything we needed before, during and after our stay, thank you very much!!

Casa Moonshine - Yelapa Beach House

MervRating, 5 stars63 months ago
We found Casa Moonshine to be a very special place nestled in the jungle but mere footsteps to the beach. It was our first time in Yelapa and it literally took our breathe away. We were greeted by our host only moments after arrival and found the casa to be even prettier than we expected, clean, spacious and an amazing place to wake up in the morning. Bugs were not an issue whatsoever and the locals were some of the friendliest people we met in Mexico. Highly recommend Chicos and the Yacht club for dinner and drinks and the folks at the deposito were a hoot. Can't wait to return! Thank you so much Celene and Allan for an amazing stay.

Casa Arriba overlooking Yelapa Bay.

TeresaRating, 5 stars26 months ago
We enjoyed Lance’s place very much. It has lots of spaces to hang out with the group or privately. The scenery is really beautiful, and you are immerse in nature, with the birds sounds (the ear plugs came in handy at night for thee roosters, though) and view of the ocean. The first day we spotted a whale from the deck! There are lots of stairs to get to the house, so you definitely get your workout every time! Lance was very responsive and offered helpful ideas. The town people were very friendly. We got to know the people in the grocery stores after stopping there every day, and there were some great restaurants too, with The Yatch Club and Los Abuelos being our favorites. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us!
