A awesome place guys!! The place is such amazing. The peace far from city and regular life. Kinda far from el nido. But if you want to stay far from chaos and crowd..go for it. Naspan beach, mad monkey bar all near. Go for it!! Amazing place, good food cheaper than other restaurants. Van, tours, motors can be booked from there.

The room/bathroom combo with private terrace next to Manfred‘s and Rosanna‘s house was comfortable, peaceful and a welcoming change to the hectic and loud El Nido town. We loved the coffee in the morning, the vibe of the room / house and the calmness. The pictures are pretty accurate and everything was tidy and clean. Only downside would be that there’s no A/C and it can get quite stuffy in the room but there’s a ceiling fan and a ventilator so that’s just one little remark. All in all would definitely recommend for everybody who looks for an charming and authentic room away from the masses.

Since our ferry went down, we spontaneously booked 2 nights. The room was great with direct access to the beach, there was a free breakfast and communication with Kevin was quick and very friendly. We'll be back, thanks!

The location is amazing, all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. I’m very thankful to one of the receptionist Giselle, who was extremely helpful and fixed all the issues at a moment. Definitely recommending, the place is located right on the beach facing sunset side next to huge and beautiful nacpan beach. El nido is 30 mins drive.

all Clean, nice and Safe. only the Chicken outside (over 10) are constanly screaming.

My family of seven stayed at Sheila's place for four days. We had a great fun time at her house, it was as was described and pictured on the website. She accommodated our late check-out too, which was great, as we had a chance to maximize our vacation at El Nido. There was a power outage when we were there, and this was expected, but good thing the power came back before nighttime. The faucet water was a little low, so expect to use the bucket for showering. As we are Filipinos ourselves, we loved the interaction we had with the neighbors, as the place is situated on an inner alley. The first time we arrived, we had a difficult time to find it. However, we loved that the place is walking distance from the city center. The nearby small stores (downstairs and on the way) was convenient for us to get our supplies of instant coffee, pandesal, and snacks. The local assistant, Joan, was helpful to get us fresh fish from local fisherfolk, and in cleaning our garbage every two days. All in all, we had a terrific time in Sheila's place. I would love to come back to her place if we plan another El Nido vacation. So thank you Sheila! =)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Stay! I had an incredible stay at this beautiful villa in El Nido! Just a 15-minute drive from the center, it offers the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. The villa was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and very comfortable, with stunning surroundings and a fantastic private pool that made the stay even more special. The hosts were fantastic—welcoming, responsive, and always ready to help with great local recommendations. Check-in was seamless, and everything was well taken care of. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting El Nido!

Our stay at Recuerdo Transient House in El Nido was fantastic and suited our family’s needs perfectly. The house has a warm, homely feel and is conveniently located in the town proper, just a short walk away from all the bars, restaurants, and local attractions. Ms. Juliet, our host, was wonderful—very responsive and accommodating. She also runs a tour agency, which made our trip entirely stress-free. The package we booked through her included everything we needed, from exciting island tours to convenient van transfers from the airport to the accommodation and back. She even organized a memorable side trip to Puerto Princesa for the Underground River tour, which was a great addition to our itinerary. Overall, our 4-day Palawan adventure was a truly special experience, made even better by Ms. Juliet’s thoughtful arrangements. We’re grateful for her hospitality and would highly recommend Recuerdo Transient House to anyone visiting El Nido.

Overall the place was as described. The main issue was finding where it was at the beginning. The address and map location is inaccurate and very confusing, especially for someone who is visiting the country. The apartment is located in a weird area where there is a lot of dirt and farms. Despite those small issues, the home giver took care of us and was always there if we needed something.

The villa is superb modern with all amenities working perfectly There is a huge seating area with open kitchen where you can spend whole day chilling by the pool. Good wifi conection …But There is a building site next to the villa that starts 8:00am Also we had a problem to find it (We have used local tuk tuk he could not find it as well) Overall the villa is beautyful and i would stay there again

Place is near public market, terminal and sari-sari stores. Host was responsive and gave clear directions on how to get to the place. I also made a cute little friend there that I don’t know the name of — I miss that doggie, such a sweetie! 🐶 Highly recommended! 🌟

We had a fantastic stay at Monica’s place in Makati! The location was absolutely wonderful—everything we wanted to visit was within walking distance. The space was perfect for our family, and my nieces especially loved the rooftop pool! Monica was a great host, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend Nature’s Retreat! The name is quite accurate, and if you are looking to really immerse yourself in a beautiful nature setting away from it all, this is the place. Our crew was nine friends from around the world who gathered here over New Year’s, and to give a sense of the experience, on NYE, we all waded out into the warm shallow bay surrounded by the tropical jungle and mountains, had the hosts turn off the electricity to the Retreat and welcomed in 2020 with the only lights being the stars and bright Milky Way above. Stunning. As were the bonfire the hosts built, the trips they took us on around the islands with the property’s catamaran, the massages they organized (so cheap and very very good) and the other tours they helped us arrange. In terms of the hosts, we cannot say enough good things about Sam, his family and his crew. They are incredibly kind and affable human beings, completely professional and on top of all of the logistics and always available for any assistance or advice. And a real bonus is that Sam and his wife are incredible cooks - we learned they own a restaurant in PP, and it showed in all the meals which were very well done. There is no question the place is rustic, and it is secluded (no neighbors). And that is its amazing charm. But don’t expect to be able to just pop in and out of town in 5-10 minutes on a whim. Our only caution is, before booking, check Air Swift for available flights in and out of El Nido Lio airport. Otherwise you have to fly in to Puerto Princesa and it’s about a 5-6 hour drive to the Retreat from there, depending on traffic. Shouldn’t be a problem if you look well enough in advance (which we failed to do) – so just a lesson learned. All in all, this was a really special trip for our group, and we would really recommend you consider it for yourself.
