Holiday rentals with breakfast in Bywater, New Orleans

Richard’s home is absolutely gorgeous. My daughters and I enjoyed our stay this past weekend for our annual December New Orleans’ girls weekend trip. We arrived, opened the door and were immediately wowed by this gem. The house is beautifully decorated, well thought out for guests and spotless. Richard was proactive and attentive and made sure we had detailed instructions. Communication was friendly and thoughtful, which we found so welcoming. Best part was the decorated and lit Christmas tree that greeted us in the den. Hope we get the chance to enjoy this place again on a future visit.

The cost was shared by six of us which made the per night cost very very affordable. There were plenty of towels, dishes and kitchen utensils. The place was immaculate on our arrival. Christopher was very responsive to an issue we had with hot water and came in while we were gone and took care of it. Overall, this was a perfect place for six guys who came into town to catch a Saints game and relax for 3 days. Would highly recommend.

So lovely to spend a long weekend here. Very accessible with ability to walk around the neighborhood and get a feeling for the place. Close by spots to have dinner, breakfast, and lunch. Had everything we needed for the stay and the backyard was a delight to hang out in.

If we could give more than five stars we would. WOW! The Art house is spectacular. Every nook and cranny has been impeccably curated. The historic house gives an authentic experience, with a modern kitchen & bathroom and comfy beds. Marigny is the coolest neighbourhood where we experienced exceptional dining, inspiring art, and soul touching music. It is conveniently located within walking distance to Frenchmen St - but far enough away that it's quiet in the evening for a good night's sleep. It was also a short Uber ride to the French Quarter. (If it wasn't raining we would've walked). Clarisse & Zoe were warm and gracious hostesses. They had exceptional communication during the entire experience (from booking, making adjustments to our reservation, providing recommendations + easy check-in instructions leading up to our stay, and were very quick to response during.) They were also very respectful of our privacy. 1000000% recommend this spot.

I highly recommend this stay. Can't beat the price for the neighborhood - very accessible to everything you would want to see and do as a tourist in New Orleans. We enjoyed evenings on Frenchman Street - only a 5-7 minute Lyft away, eating in the Bywater district - only a 5 minute Lyft away, and walking around the neighborhood to local bars and restaurants like Morrow, Honey's and St. Roche Market. You cannot beat this location. The beds and couches were very comfortable and cozy. The bathroom and kitchen and air/heat worked great and was very clean. Rik was an extremely accommodating and responsive host and went out of his way to make sure we were all set. Southern hospitality is real in the Big Easy! New Orleans is a city, and like all cities, it is a block-by-block situation. We felt very safe and had no issues. We will be back, thank you so much, Rik!

Great place. We had 3 families and everyone was able to comfortably have their own space. The outside patio was great and we loved all the little decorative details. Matthew was a great host!

Myself and 4 friends spent the 4 day Thanksgiving weekend at the house. The house was very large and comfortable. It had everything we needed. It was within walking distance of a small grocery store and several restaurants. We chose to Uber around The Quarter, Downtown and Garden District and the house was close to them. We parked our car in front of the house and didn’t have any problems. I thought the pricing was very reasonable as well. We are very happy with our stay.

A++++ host!! Genevieve was excellent! She saw to our every need and more! Location was safe and in a great location! We were here over New Years, and she included us in her evening gathering where we had a blast! Highly recommended!!

I will stay at this place every time I come to visit, if available. Quiet, easy to find, immaculate kitchen and bathroom with the most responsive host I have encountered. A most enjoyable stay.

Roberto’s place was exactly what we were looking for. Great price and great location. Roberto’s was extremely friendly and helpful about his space and the surrounding areas. He had left us snacks and refreshments and also helped me with my laundry. Thank you for everything and we will definitely be renting this space again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was just as described, and even when a different group checked into the other unit and got noisy, the host immediately handled the situation. While I wouldn’t say it was a walkable location to/from the city, it was always easy to get an uber and we felt safe in the unit throughout our stay.

Great location. Comfortable beds. Spacious. Clean. Equipped with basic necessities! We really enjoyed this place and our time in New Orleans! Two things to note is that there is some noise from people that hangout/smoke outside below the room as well as noise from road during the night. (and sirens every so often) Just noting it here for light sleepers! Also there was one in our group that noticed some allergy like symptoms which was a bit bothersome while there. (NOTE: The owner has said they would look into that! ) Other than that, it was as described and so convenient to be able to grab the street car so close. Bonus. The pizza restaurant below was so good and the staff very friendly. We ate there multiple times!

Wonderful stay. This will be our new go-to place when visiting our daughter at Tulane. Heather and Andy are so nice and super helpful about check-in, making us feel welcome, and giving recommendations for local events and activities. Their place is comfortable, homey, clean, loaded with charm, and this is the first time a host has left us a full breakfast in the fridge. Myself, my husband, and my three young adult children felt so at home in the space and there was plenty of room for all. Fun, safe and funky neighborhood and a two minute walk to Tulane and Audubon park.

We had a wonderful stay at Michelle and Memo’s Airbnb from November 7 to 11 in New Orleans. The location is perfect—close to everything we wanted to explore, allowing us to easily enjoy the vibrant culture of the city. The house is full of New Orleans charm, and we were delighted to see that the Halloween decorations were still up, adding an extra festive touch to our visit. The home is well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including cozy beds and a great selection of games and books for entertainment. Michelle and Memo were fantastic hosts, very responsive and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable New Orleans experience!

Mia’s place is so fun and funky. It had a real New Orleans vibe to it. The location is very walkable to all the amenities on Magazine st and an easy uber/ drive to DT and the French Quarter. Mia was there to check me in even with a late arrival and she was very welcoming. The place is large and spacious, perfect for our family and filled with all kind of great art and eclectic pieces. We would definitely stay here again.

The carriage house is adorable. Super clean, bright natural light, adorable kitchen fully stocked. Skye has thought of every detail including snacks and breakfast food for your first day. Hospitality plus! The neighborhood is lovely and quiet with gorgeous homes, close to everything but far enough away to be a peaceful retreat. Olive the lab is a very exuberant welcoming girl. We had to cut our stay short because of the crazy snowstorm but hopefully we will be back in the spring and will definitely stay at Skye’s place if it’s available. Don’t hesitate to book!

I would like to say. We stepped into a place of time that had no limits . Beautiful space. This home was lovely. Our Beautiful Host with the most, was an awesome guy. Most gracious host and served hospitality at its finest. Did I mention Chef ? Kyle can also prepare meals and he did. Delicious I must say. This host made sure that we were comfortable in the home , and its surroundings. I will be returning soon. Lyle the host is exquisite!! Thanks and many Thanks

Simply put: they are wonderful people running a top notch place with mouthwatering breakfast! If you want southern hospitality and down home cooking you HAVE to stay here. Michelle’s breakfasts were restaurant quality, and the love she puts into her food goes into every aspect of Elysian Fields Inn. Our room was so clean, the house is gorgeous, it’s so close to everything (Frenchman St., Bourbon St., public transit, the best local bar, etc.) and the owners just make it next level. They are accommodating, knowledgeable to the area, and have great recommendations. We will definitely be back and will be staying with Michelle/Elysian Fields Inn again! In all aspects, it’s a wonderful place to stay!

I can't say enough good about this rental. it actually snowed while we were here and they made sure we had plenty to eat and all our needs were met. definately coming back

House was even more beautiful in person than photos. It was clean, well taken care of, and within walking distance of many attractions. Russell was easy to communicate with and made our stay comfortable with clear instructions and quick responses.

Jeff is an absolutely amazing and kind person !. The place is a stunner . Location is great on a quieter end of magazine street . Jeff was very kind to us stocked the fridge made us feel so welcome ! . This place is great close to all the amazing magazine street restaurants . I have stayed at so many air B but never met Ana amazing host like Jeff who went out of the way to make us feel at home . I am definitely coming back !

Laura's place is filled with New Orleans charm! The architecture and setting are gorgeous, and the sun-filled sitting room is a really nice bonus. I was traveling alone and felt very safe in her house and in this quiet neighborhood. And even though there were a couple of secured doors into her living space (which you use to access the morning breakfast), I didn't hear a thing during the time I was there. I enjoyed the private entrance too. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast b/c I had to leave early the days I was there, but Laura generously offered and it sounded really yummy. You can get a quick cab/rideshare ride into the Quarter for about $20 incl. tip - well worth it if you like peace and quiet. And there are delicious restaurants in walking distance to boot! Would definitely stay again. Thanks, Laura!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mansion! Beth & Andrea were very helpful! Our code didn’t work at first but Andrea was very prompt in helping us get inside and get our code working! The room itself was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our little getaway! The location is great walking distance to the French Quarter and of course Cafe du Monde! This will definitely be our go to if we are ever back in New Orleans!
