Lovely air b&b, as pretty as the pics. Very well set up for dogs, lots of towels and blankets left, wirh great walks right on the doorstep. Welcome cake was lovely and there was so many extra bits that you always need when you're away. Hot tub was a fab addition. Would highly recommend.

We had a fab time at Stanley cottage. The accommodation is quirky & every inch of space is effectively used. The hot tub was easy to use & stayed hot for hours. The place was spotless when we arrived & Ben had even left us some milk & bread to get us started. Ben is an extremely responsive host, very friendly & always on hand to help. Before check in I had all the instructions I needed for a great stay. I would definitely recommend Stanley cottage

We had a lovely 4 night break here, the house beautifully decorated, furnished and clean. The surroundings were lovely with walks on the door step, just be careful if you have a dog as no secure space but our dog was fine on the lead. Patrick was a great host with giving clear check in instructions and giving us recommendations for places to eat, take away options, walks and taxis beforehand. We went to lake Windermere for the day and had afternoon tea at the wild boar would definitely recommend, not your usual finger sandwiches on the menu was mini burgers, fish and chips and lots more. We also went to Kirkby Lonsdale town which was very “chocolate box” picturesque, had a lovely lunch in The Royal Hotel and walked around the unique shops. Overall, we had a lovely time at the house and would definitely recommend and visit again. Thank you Patrick

This place was an absolute dream! Clean, cosy and welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be booking again in the future. The whole place was immaculate and the hot tub was very clean and a great little bonus. Very relaxing night away.

We really enjoyed everything about this break. The place was stocked with everything we needed and was really well equipped, couldnt fault it at all. The pool is incredible and a highlight of our stay! The main house is wonderful- so full of character and warm and inviting as well as spacious. The pool house quarters were equally as impressive. We just didnt want to go home! The cottage is in a fantastic location to see areas of interest such as malham cove, Pen y Ghent and Ingleborough caves as well as having some wonderful pubs around usually offering delicious food. We absolutely loved it here and would return in a heartbeat. Have had so many friends asking about the place too after seeing pictures, videos and hearing how much we enjoyed it.

We had a quiet and peaceful getaway for over Christmas as we needed somewhere we could switch off for Christmas. Mary-Anne's place was just what we needed. It was clean, quiet and very cosy with its log burner. Mary-Anne had put up a couple of Christmas decorations, Quality Street, and had the log burner warm for our check in. Mary-Anne was very responsive over text and was happy to attend to any question or issue we could have had. Thank you for our wonderful stay. 10/10 fully recommended.

This is the best place you can be to start the Yorkshire 3 peaks. It is literally open the front door and start walking to pen y Ghent. You can not get any closer. We spent 2 nights here and it was lovely. Highly recommended.

Had a beautiful night at the puzzle cottage. Log fire and views were lovely. Garden is enclosed so perfect for the dog. Fabulous relaxed evening and beautiful waterfall to see in the morning sun! Thank you for hosting us at such short notice!

Great hosts who were friendly and always accessible if needed. Cottage was just as described other than the bathroom which was palatial so better! In village but just on edge so best of both worlds with access and privacy. Would definitely use again.

We had a brilliant stay, Steve showed us round which was great. Lovely and warm kept out of the storm outside. Well furnished and the pub in the village is well worth a visit

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. All of the other reviews are true! This is a lovely cosy cottage and perfect for a romantic 2 night break away. Everything is good quality and of a high standard. Penny’s communication is good and prompt. Button Cottage certainly gets 5 stars from me!

We would definitely recommend to stay here! This cosy cottage is the perfect place for some peace. The log burner is well equipped and very warm. James was a great host and made us feel very welcome. He was attentive, happy to help and share advice/ recommendations on the local area which had plenty of walks, places to eat etc. If the sky is clear you will be in for a treat with the sky! 🌌

fantastic welcoming helpful hosts, who went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic time. beautifully appointed cottage. warm and cosy, with everything we needed.. it was such a delight to spend time at Susan's accommodation and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the area or simply have a restful time out. we have found such a special place.

Erika was very helpful. We got lost on the way there because it was in a small secluded village away from the city, but the views were worth it. The house was a converted barn, and it felt like we went back in time to an old country movie. Definitely recommend. Erika was very helpful, always around. 5 stars!

We stayed over for two nights at Rachael's cottage whilst we explored the local area. We absolutely loved everything about the place. It was spacious whilst also feeling cosy! The views from the many windows of the cottage we're a treat to wake up to and it really felt like a little section of paradise. Rachael met us for check in and was so helpful and friendly. Even from before check in all the information provided was excellent and incredibly helpful. The cottage was about 30 minutes from Durham and Newcastle which made it super easy to explore. The facilities in the cottage were great, comfortable bed, reclining sofa, fully functioning kitchen. The bathroom/wet room is small but we didn't find it an issue at all. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and only wish we could have been there longer!!

lovely place to stay and fantastic host's everything you need within walking distance. I beautiful Indian restaurant called Saathi within walking distance food absolutely beautiful best we have ever tasted. Alex was a fantastic host and nothing wasn't to much trouble and great response if we needed her. beautiful cosy little place and very thoughtful little extras. would 100% recommend anyone to stay here. we will surely return and recommend to family and friends 👌😁⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is an idyllic stay - beautiful, peaceful surroundings and all amenities you could need for a homely break. There is so much on doorstep and within short driving distance, and you’re spoilt for choices of walks. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
