Great apartment, great host!

maxime's house, on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, was a wonderful discovery! It is located in the Kajaga area, quiet and certainly not chaotic compared to the center of Bujumbura. The villa definitely exceeds the standard of the houses in Burundi! It is very large with well organized spaces, bathrooms in every bedroom, super equipped kitchen and a wonderful view of the lake! It is surrounded by a beautiful garden very well cared for and protected by a fence wall. In addition, the caretaker Bosco is always present, a wonderful guy who is always available and extremely polite and discreet. I asked the owner Maxime to look for a cook on my behalf to help us in the kitchen and for the shopping and so he introduced me to Chef Clude, who was very good and nice, who rejoiced our Burundian dinners. Even, I want to emphasize the kindness and availability of the owner Maxime who, despite not being physically present, was always available for my every request!

Great place to stay just 5-10 minutes from the international airport. Basic kitchen but good for Africa. Also helped to arrange transfer to and from the airport. And allowed a later checkout due to our flight being later in the day Would recommend this place
