Awesome stay. The cabin was tucked back in the trees and perfect for a quiet getaway. It was a very comfy place. The gas fire place and hot tub were great. The trail is conveniently located for walks or runs or your ATV if you bring one. We went into town a few times for food and the locals were always friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. We enjoyed our stay very much. This was the perfect place for our reading retreat. It was cozy, comfortable, and clean. The owners were very responsive to our needs and truly did everything to help us enjoy our stay. I would highly recommend this cabin on the lake during any season. We are excited to go back.

The house was absolutely awesome. Super big and cozy, the pictures don't do it justice! The kitchen was big and well equipped, the showers were AMAZING (both the stone and steam showers) TV's had everything you'd need, and the lake was beautiful. Sun was also a great host who answered everything very quickly. I may not ever rent another house in Maine as long as this one remains listed. 10/10 recommend!

We loved the Bambi Inn! The place was so cute and cozy, perfect for our girls weekend away. The hosts were so nice and helpful, especially when we had questions or needed a little extra firewood! Would definitely recommend for anyone who’s looking for a quiet, cozy weekend away.

We had a wonderful visit at Caitlin’s cozy cabin! Loved watching the sunrise in the morning from the front porch and winding down with a glass of wine in the evening outside. Caitlin and Jackie were both very responsive and great hosts - will be staying here again!

I loved this place! Enjoying coffee and meals outside on the deck overlooking the lake and beautiful surroundings of nature. I felt safe there and was a charming neighborhood. I loved that there were boats to use and a dock to watch sunset an autumn harvest moon over lake! Jess was the perfect host and made sure everything was great when I arrived. She was very helpful when I had any questions and I am looking so forward to going back there again! Thank you Jess for sharing this wonderful place!!!

The airbnb is indeed cozy, but just as described. As others detail, it's a great pit stop to get some rest and fuel before heading back to the trail. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The shower was quite small and the bedroom can be tight if sharing beds. No AC, but the unit does have some efficient heating units in each room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this camp.

This cabin was a wonderful place to spend the week, and I couldn’t be more happy. The hosts were communicative and friendly; offering great local recommendations. My girlfriend and I would be more than happy to stay here again!

The owners of this cabin are amazing! They gave us great guidance on local eats, where super attentive to any needs we had, and the cabin was breathtaking! I loved that it was quiet and cozy. Everything was super clean, we had everything we needed for a great getaway. Also it’s so close to bar harbor and Acadia national park so we didn’t have to drive far to see and explore Maine. Very thankful we were able to stay here. Definitely would return and I definitely recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation!

This was the exact place we were looking for. Peaceful, rustic but with all the modern amenities, and a fire place that tops it off. Definitely recommend staying here if you are looking to leave the world behind a few days.

What a great place for our short weekend away! The cabin is very cozy, clean, and comfortable. It’s clear that the owners take great care of it. The photos really don’t do it justice. Very cute! Highly recommend for a couples getaway for 1 or 2 couples, and there’s an extra room with 2 twin beds if you have kids. Pet friendly too! It’s not super close to a town center, so it’s best for people who want to cook themselves. There is a small brewery for a fun night and a general store for quick needs, but it’s better if you shop ahead of time. We had a small issue with the shower and the owners were very responsive. Highly recommend!

Couldn’t be happier with our stay! Michelle was a great host and the property was everything we wanted and more. We honestly found ourselves spending more time just enjoying the property and the surroundings then some of our planned activities. It was truly hard to leave and we would come back and stay in a heart beat!

The blueberry cabin was a charming and cozy retreat, surrounded by fresh blueberry fields with their resident fireflies. As described, the cabin is off grid, but Jenny has made it a wonderful space, with beautiful fairy lights, easy access to water, an array of solar powered lights, and very helpful instructions. This is a perfect getaway for someone looking to be comfortable while enjoying the quietness and dark skies of a camping experience. Jenny was very helpful even when we arrived later than anticipated, and helped us find the cabin after dark. She was always available to answer our questions and helped out with local recommendations. The very tasty wild blueberries all around the cabin made the experience even more amazing. We will definitely be coming back, and would highly recommend this cabin!

It was exactly what we were looking for as a little weekend get away. It was fairly quiet and in the woods just enough for privacy. The fire pit was great and we just really enjoyed our time there. Would definitely stay again. Only thing notable was the grill did not have a propane tank which was okay to us because we had our own little camping grill but if you plan to use the one there, just a heads up!

The cabins were just as described! We enjoyed the rustic nature. Our host really thought of all of the ‘extras’ for living off the grid! The cabin was clean and well organized to make cooking and cleanup easy! Thank you!

The cottage was perfect for our visit. It was spotless and comfortable. We would highly recommend it and hope to stay again! Kevin was responsive to anything we asked prior to our stay. We had a very restful three days at Rod’s lovely cabin. This is a fantastic place to stay for those seeking to experience the midcoast area for what it is (without all the tourist traps and hustle and bustle that you’ll find in Bar Harbor area). Don’t sleep on this gem!

We really enjoyed our stay and it turned out to be a perfect long weekend getaway for us as a family with a toddler in tow, there's plenty of space for an active toddler(there's a wood stove in the living room, so something to be mindful if you're not comfortable with fire around kids). There's a trail through the property where we walked over the snow and my daughter just wanted to continue going deep into the woods. Jamey is an excellent host and an amazing communicator and he made sure we had clear instructions and guided us through our our stay. We'd definitely revisit!
