Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Buchanan Dam

Lake House vibes! Nice, clean home. Great location with Lake LBJ across the street and access a short walk down the street. Bunkhouse is great for the kids. Huge backyard to let our 2 dogs run around - just be careful if your dogs are smaller as there are some gaps under the fence they can crawl under due to the slope of the backyard. Host checked in and was quick to respond.

We stayed at Andy’s Airbnb for 2 months and had an incredibly special time! Andy was extremely helpful, professional and accommodating, everything you could hope for from a Superhost! The house itself was plenty of space and the perfect size for the 5 of us. We fell in love with the location, a 10 minute walk to the charming downtown, with plenty to do and see on our walks. We found the neighborhood to be very safe and quiet, with friendly neighbors and pets! Would highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

I can’t say enough great things about our stay. We had enough room to spread out, inside and outside. The beds and pillows were wonderful, the game room was a big hit and the kids spent hours in there, there were plenty of dishes, cutlery and pans to cook 3 big meals a day. We brought 6 kayaks and were able to get in and out of the water and store them down at the dock. I can’t wait to go back.

We really enjoyed our stay here this weekend. It was perfect for our family as we, the grandparents, had our own place separate from our kids/grandkids so we could hang out as much as we liked but could have some quiet too. Our grandkids loved the little playhouse too! If you happen to be attending sporting events at Bee Creek Sports Complex, it’s a perfect location. I will say at night the roads are very curvy and dark and the little back house we were in is on a kinda rocky cliff but again, it was great for our group.

House was clean, big backyard with cool swimming pool which the kids loved. It was pet friendly so we were able to bring our dogs wich was big plus. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. HEB and other restaurants near by. Would stay again.

We came down to visit family for the weekend and found Chuck’s place to be in an ideal location with everything we needed. We were especially pleased with how clean and tidy everything was when we got there. The bed was comfy and everything was as described. We would definitely stay here again.

Eugene was a wonderful host, and the condo was great! It was located close to everything we wanted to explore, the amenities were well thought out to ensure that one would feel right at home, and everything was very clean. The Christmas decor for the holidays was a nice touch! Thanks, Eugene.

Wendy's place was amazing! Wendy's was very detailed on her instructions/directions on where and how to get in the unit. There was no confusion. Absolutely love the unit. It was clean, spacious and had amazing views. Loved our time there! Fuller Family

This was the best birthday trip ever! Jaya was very responsive to messages and provided plenty detailed useful information. Her place was quiet and just steps away from breathtaking views. Perfectly located from the parking garage, elevator and pool/spa. We would definitely choose to stay again in the future.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Between they gorgeous sunset views from the lake to the friendly island deer that greet you when you enter and exit, this place was truly amazing. There were 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, 2 working hot tubs/jacuzzi tubs, men's and women's sauna, and lots of places to walk about. We ate at a local resurant on the lake called The Oasis which I would also recommend. 45 minutes to and hour from downtown Austin but the drive is peaceful and scenic!

It was a pleasure staying at Penny’s and Cannon’s! We wanted to have a good escape into the hill country and this provides that for less with easy access to Austin! The time of the year we visited was winter and hazy, I’m sure it is a wonderful scene at Lago Vista during better weather! Would love to visit again!

I will definitely come back to this listing. Everything you need is there and to sit by the lake and do some kayak and fishing was just a few steps away. I can’t wait to come back!!!! See y’all soon. 👍🏽

As a fellow AirBnb superhost, I give this place 5 stars! Had everything we needed! Being on the first floor and so close to the pool and boat slips was a bonus! Everything worked - internet was good. Beds were comfy. Hot water heater worked awesome! Kitchen was well-stocked. Would stay again for sure!

This place was so awesome! They provide so many extras, such as bottles of Wine, dog treats, etc. Condo was Lovely with the most beautiful courtyard and wonderful pool and hot tub. Fantasies communication! If we ever go back to Austin, this will be our go-to place for sure!!!! Thank you!!

Had a great stay. We set out to rest and relax after a stressful time, and this condo really had everything we needed to relax, watch the sunset, stargaze, swim and enjoy Austin. great stay and we would definitely come back again. The island is kind of magical with deer, raccoons and birds that are very friendly towards the local humans. staff at the condo building were welcoming and friendly. some places aren't always that nice to sort term renters but all staff and neighbors were friendly and helpful when we interacted.
