The pictures don’t do this place any justice!! This home was amazing tons of things to do even in November!!! And the VIEW WAS STUNNING FROM INSIDE AND ON EVERY DECK DID I MENTION IT WAS 4 DECKS TO SET AND WATCH THE WATER! My family was so happy with this home none of us wanted to leave! We will definitely be booking again… Thank You for allowing us to share your home….

Great location! Looks just like the pics!

We had a great time as a family of 6 (5 adults and 1 child), enjoying a Thanksgiving getaway on the lake. The house itself has tons of space, very comfortable, fast Wi-Fi, and matched the descriptions, but the real highlight was the amazing views of the lake and being able to walk down to the water and the dock. We also did some stargazing at night, and actually managed to spot the Milky Way on a particularly clear night, along with way more stars than you'd typically see just 70 miles from a major metro area like the triangle. Overall would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet lakefront getaway.

Great location and views! We spend most of our time on the water so having the boathouse so close and hardly any steps was a huge plus! I like a lot of places in Lake Gaston. Very easy to go back and forth to the house (we are always forgetting things.) Huge bonus having a refrigerator on the dock. The house was beautiful, comfortable beds and linens, very large kitchen with plenty of room to cook. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the large deck. Great long weekend all around.

The farm is really nice with many animals and beautiful views! The house was a little dated, but nice and clean. You have everything you could need and it was fully decorated for Christmas. Our family had a great time exploring the area and in a very peaceful setting. Pat & Mike are great hosts, very responsive and ready to help at any time.

Spacious and beautifully-updated and furnished home with peaceful views of the lake. Comfy beds, soft sheets, well-appointed kitchen, and lots of towels. Glenn was extremely responsive and flexible with our group’s check-in and check-out. We especially enjoyed the fire pit on a chilly evening under a bright supermoon over the lake! Appreciated the many amenities, including toiletries, cleaning supplies, and even fire starters.

The home was wonderful, and exeded our expectations. Thank you for having us and sharing your hidden gem. My daughters both enjoyed all the amenities. We did a little of everything, board games, fishing, hiking, played pool, cooked together and enjoyed the open floor relaxing environment. We hope to be back for our yearly boat outing and possibly do jet skiing, and kayaking in the Summer. (kayaks and rowing boats were also included for use, a +). Also, we loved the lake and board walk in the back yard and fire pit sitting area. We all enjoyed welcoming our New Year in your cozy lake house, we definitely hope to be back. 🧡'd the peaceful and serine atmosphere. With no hesitations I give this house a 5star.

Thank you, Kristen! This was a wonderful getaway for our family! We lucked into amazing weather for late December/early January, so were able to spend hours on the lake every single day. Kristen and Chris were kind enough to ensure we had enough kayaks/canoe (plus life vests) for our whole gang to participate and we had a blast. We literally had the entire lake to ourselves--except for a blue heron, a few cranes, and lots of "sea birds" plus a few rather large jumping fish! We were initially sad that the fireplace in the great room was not usable, but were delighted by the beautiful fire feature on the screened-in porch as well as the firepit in the backyard. We spent a perfect evening making s'mores under the most beautiful blanket of stars! And our only boy even went in for a nighttime swim to start the New Year :0 We're used to expecting a property to be much smaller than photos would have you believe, but this one seemed even larger than we expected--clean and pretty! Loved it!

We had an amazing time at the Cabin! The property is awesome and perfect for an easy weekend trip. It has everything you need, and we loved the porch, hot tub, fire pit and lake. Property is cozy, private, and family friendly. It was so cool to be there during snow and looking forward to booking again in warmer weather. Benjamin and the rest of the team were very responsive and proactively reached out to ensure everything was going well.

We had an amazing time at the cabin! The lakeside view was absolutely stunning—waking up to the serene water and watching the sunset was a highlight of our trip. The cabin was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Whether we were soaking in the hot tub, unwinding by the firepit, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings, it was the perfect escape. The host Eric was fantastic—super friendly, quick to respond, and made everything so easy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and rejuvenating retreat.

Francesca was such a wonderful host! She was incredibly responsive and flexible with some last-minute changes to our reservation. The house was spotless when we arrived and felt brand new—a great place to stay if you’re looking to be on the lake or at the pool all day and come back to a nice home afterwards. Would recommend for a group looking to have a blast at Lake Gaston!
