Beachfront holiday rental in Brightwater

It was an absolute treat to wake up each day at Te Wai Tahi and spend our time. Right on the waters edge, just a short stroll from the Mapua wharf and all its goodness, Te Wai Tahi is blissfully placed. The house had all we'd needed to enjoy our stay, with an abundance of feijoa as an extra treat. Marianne was warm and responsive. Fabulous all round.

Great stay. Brenda was excellent with communication. The place was just as described. It was perfect for a couple. Highly recommend.

The Mārahau bach is beautifully situated with an outlook across the estuary and a side view to the ocean. Huge decks enhance this. The house is older but well equipped. We stayed early autumn and it was warm and dry. Easy to walk to local cafes and restaurants, as well as accessible walks and other local attractions.

Kim's apartment was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed sitting in the conservatory looking out at the amazing view of the ocean. I'd highly recommend this Airbnb.

Our family of 5 just spent 6 nights in this lovely wee Bach. It’s a really well done and very authentic kiwi Bach. Never a dull moment with all the activities at the boat ramp and plenty to do. Two great restaurants nearby too.

Great place to stay. Everything we needed. Very well equiped kitchen. Kids spent hours playing on the large lawn.

We haven’t been to Nelson for possibly 30 years - this will be our go to place now for Nelson-and we are very keen to come back now after staying here. Thank you for a wonderful stay- also the security, views, sunsets,and excellent introduction to the place with Rob was exceptional.

We found the Clifftop Retreat cabin suited our needs perfectly and Bob provided an excellent level of communication, service and local tips. He also ensured the pantry and wines were stocked with high quality local products. The accomodation was very good with comfortable bed, terrific functional kitchen and amazing clifftop views of the surrounding bay and local area. The location was perfect for our walking trips up into the Abel Tasman National Park and also fantastic local restaurants and wineries. Bob also organised a pick up from the airport for us as we arrived late at night. Overall a fantastic stay and would certainly recommend Clifftop Retreats very highly.

We enjoyed our stay and only regret not staying longer. Our family would happily return to this home.

We loved this place. Great surroundings with a green field space in front of the apartment with the beach behind that. Coffee van a minute away. The apartment itself was extremely clean, well equipped and spacious. It had good facilities with the warm pool, gym and jacuzzi. We would happily return if we were ever in the Nelson area.

Great, central, close to beach and restaurants. Especially liked that the apartment was so big and that it was possible to be also on the balcony. There was everything we needed.

Ana’s Air BnB is a relaxing and private. It had all the amenities required for a beach stay. The beach is walking distance and the city is a short drive so you can have the best of both worlds. The pictures accurately represent the property and Ana’s instructions were easy to follow and helpful. It is close to the airport but it’s not like planes are taking off and landing every few minutes so it really wasn’t a factor for us. Overall this is a clean, tidy, and comfortable place and represents great value.

What a lovely place to stay in Kaiteriteri. The house is great. Spacious, clean, great outdoor spaces and a well appointed kitchen. Kaiteriteri is a very peaceful and beautiful town to spend a few nights in and this AirBnB fits right in. I would recommend this place and stay there again myself.

Great house! Plenty of space and you really can't beat the location. The serenity and privacy of Monaco Peninsula and a short drive to Nelson City, the beach, Rabbit Island. Plenty to do! If you're looking to get away from it all, and also have access to plenty of activities and day trips, this is your place.

Michelle and Tim were so welcoming and their house is amazing! It had everything we needed…and more. So spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Continental breakfast was also included which was unexpected and very much appreciated. The kids loved having access to the kayaks, yard and board games. My husband and I enjoyed an evening bike ride with the bikes provided. Michelle and Tim were more than happy to recommend local places to visit and eat at. I honestly cannot fault this place. And really hope that we can revisit one day. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Thank you Michelle and Tim.

What a gorgeous place this is! It’s got such a lot of welcoming charm that makes you feel at home straight away. Helen had also put up a Christmas tree and put lovely decorations around the house. Thank you for going the extra mile and making it all so special! Ooh and great oven to cook Christmas dinner in!!
