Adorable stone house in historic village.

This idyllic French stone house can sleep up to five people. It has two bedrooms, a large living room with a woodburner, a fitted kitchen with a large dining table and two shower rooms, one on each floor. The rear bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the garden with a ruined abbey and the Charentaise countryside beyond. Outside there's a summer kitchen, a small terrace and a lawned garden. Large communal area with billiard/pool table, a cosy seating/meeting area with log burner for cooler evenings. Note the pool is open from May 15th until September 30th. Water body of the 3 fountains with rest area.This water body consists of a small beach (with supervised bathing) and another part reserved for fishing . In July and August, pizzeria , fries , mussels... Food on site . Bakery , supermarket, butcher shop, pharmacy, post office, hairdressers ,newspapers, banks, gas pump, doctors . Numerous possibilities for walking or cycling. White stone mill, very quiet place. Small market Tuesday and Friday.
