Beautiful location & surroundings. Spacious on the inside and out. The unit had sufficient tea, coffee, sugar, towels and linen. Our 2 furkids loved the enclosed garden, and were greatly entertained by the goings-on at the farm. We were lucky to get a cloudless night, and enjoyed the stargazing. The aircons and small plunge pool were a welcome amenity during the hot day. We were able to do some birdwatching from the large deck. Matthys was very friendly and clear in his communication and we enjoyed learning more about the almond farm. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing weekend.

We loved the little space we had for ourselves Although it is busy with workers right behind our space which means no walking around naked 😅 but hot tub and grass patch was exactly what we needed for a quick getaway And it is still somewhat private and definitely feels peaceful Maybe an AC for hot summer days would be great We loved it and would recommend

we spent two nights at the cottage for a wedding at Alluvia. It was extremely comfortable, clean and provided privacy as the two rooms of Bonheur each have their own en suite bathroom and are equally sized and spaced apart from each other.

Nice stay here, lovely pool bathed in sun in the morning and afternoon. Easy to get uber to and from if not too late.

Wow such a stunning and unique stay! We wished we had stayed longer. The accommodations were perfect from the comfy beds, to the hot tub with the view abs viewing deck. We will be back!

What a beautiful place.. My gf and I spent the weekend in the lavender cottage and loved every moment.. The cottage is amazing, the views are fantastic and the hot tub was divine!!! Cindy was an amazing host and communication with her was fantastic.. Highly recommended - We will be back :)

This place is a perfect for those wanting the tranquility of a secluded area, yet close to all the wine farms and happenings in Tulbagh. We really enjoyed it, lovely dipping pool and all the amenities you need. We will be back again!

We stayed in the Kingfisher Cabin at Vrolikheid Landgoed in Tulbagh. Our host Ané was organized and kept us well-informed about everything we needed to know before arrival. Our cabin was super clean and comfortable and beautifully designed and decorated, to enjoy a peaceful, quiet and relaxing stay. We had everything we needed. When we arrived, there was already firewood in the braai and fireplace and hot tub, with a firelighter blitz already in place, making it very easy for us. Waking up for the beautiful sunrise with a coffee and sitting on the wooden deck, enjoying the views and trees, mountains and stunning landscape was unforgettable. Being summer, the weather at midday got quite warm, but we were so grateful for the cabin air-conditioning, which made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the night sky light up with shining stars! Something out of a storybook! The hot tub was wonderful. We had a very peaceful, relaxing and restful experience. Amazing!!!

We (a family with 2 young kids) spend one night at the Almond Cottage III and we were so happy with our choice. It was kind of a stopover because the drive from Plettenberg to Cape Town was too long for the kids, that's why we made this stopover in Swellendam. It's a lovely town and the estate is situated about 10 minutes out of town. It's so quiet, calm and peaceful. There are 3 cottages, but each has its private space and even its own fire place. I loved the design of the interior with floor mats of a local artist. Really lovely and much attention to detail. We also ordered their grace boxes which were fantastic. The cheese platter was in the cottage in the evening when we arrived. The breakfast boxes were delivered at 8 am to the cottage. The food was amazing with lots of variety! I can only recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, lovely place.

We where lucky enough spending our first long term travel after retirement at the Riverstone Cottage, there could have been no better place for it! The cottage is greatly furnished and equiped, it has everything needed, even for a very long. The property is very close to town yet very remote at the same time, exactly what we were looking for. We absolutely enjoyed to cool down in the splash pool, it was in daily use. Because of the high temperatures during day, the aircon was just great. The phenomenal outdoor area is absolutely private and well furnished. Our favorite place was the ‚magical sofa’ at night, watching the stars and enjoying the sounds of nature. It was absolutely peaceful, truly magical and stunning, every single night. We were so possitively surprised about the endless options to walk the property and we already greatly miss the phenomenal mountain views. Hermien is a Superhost+ always responding immediately, cannot say enough good things about her! Thank you Hermien!

A fabulous property superbly kitted out. Super comfortable and a delight to stay in. Great local restaurants and every amenity possible in the house for nights in. We had a simply fantastic week.

Loved it here! Much better even than the pictures, super cozy vibes, amazingly quiet, great couch and bed - perfect for a calm getaway! We spent Christmas there and it was perfect to cook there! Everything there you need. We also absolutely loved the fireplace. TV is super big too! There’s even a pool we could use and spend the afternoon there that was great too. Highly recommended!

The house is very comfortable and perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The garden is secure with lovely lawns for the kids to play. Carin is very friendly and showed us around the farm. The setting is wonderfully peaceful and private. The kids loved all the animals!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The place, garden and surroundings are lovely. Fiona was a great host and helped us with all the questions we had.
