Beachfront holiday rental in Braunton

This is our third, possibly fourth stay with Kerry. The stay is like home from home, with everything you could want in a beautifully decorated space. Kelly replies extremely quickly and nothing seems too much trouble. She's even managed to reserve the good weather for us each time we come...

Delightful AirBnB; stunning location and views over the sea and the setting sun from the deck with a glass of Guinness Zero just what the Doctor ordered ! Everything was clean, tidy, functioning and comprehensively equipped. Check in straightforward and private parking outside. David and Angela's communication before and after was excellent. It was a quiet week and break for the two of us and our Labrador to simply relax. We went "off season" which suited us well. The morning and evening walks along the beachfront good for the soul. We have no hesitation in recommending this AirBnB and David and Angela. It is ideally located to explore North Devon if you want to go more wider than Woolacombe. Conversely, just enjoy the views from the deck and relax. An evening meal in the Chichester Arms in Mortehoe just up the road - coupled with a log fire - and then back to the AirBnB lounge on the sofa with a decent movie. We would happily book this again - in fact - we are tempted to buy there !

Helen was so helpful! Her place is absolutely spotless. Well equipped for a family! Kitchen is fantastic, everything you need! Great garden area which is private and secure which was perfect for our pooch! This house is exceptionally clean. We will be back - Thank you Helen x

View from main windows is spectacular, straight out onto the sea. Very helpful and flexible host, especially with check in and out times which really helped us. Overall a fantastic stay.

Really nice stay. Ruth was helpful & responded quickly. The house slept 4 of us comfortably and was lovely & warm. It couldn’t have been better for access to the beach where winter dipping in the sea meant we could get back quickly & warm up. Highly recommended & Hele Bay is one of the nicest spots you could hope for.

The house was gorgeous, perfect location for walking to the beach & pubs. Had everything we could need & more when it came to cooking our Christmas dinner. There was even a Christmas tree! Only disappointment was the hot tub not working but these things happen. Would highly recommend.

Had a great stay. Helped by sunny days. Pretty location with lots to see and do. If you like gardens RHS Rosemoor is a must. Very cosy comfortable cottage. Beautiful sunsets.

Spent a lovely few days at Helen’s place with my husband and teenage kids. Lovely location by the harbour (lots of arguments about who got to sit in the rocking chair looking out over the harbour!) Good location within ilfracombe, lots on the doorstep.

Just had a wonderful few days in Dawn’s chalet. The accommodation was spotless with everything we needed, and the location was superb. Walked down to Black Rock beach a couple of times then drove to Widemouth car park with all the body boards etc the other two times - lovely beach cafe with a gorgeous fresh cream tea. Enjoyed the vicinity to Bude and swam in Sea pool a couple of times - beautiful spot. Would definitely recommend. Thanks 🙏

We had a fab time, great coastal location, lots to do and wonderful weather……struggled with the WiFi / internet back at the pad tho. Good job we were mostly out and about exploring a lot of the time. Only issue it caused was communication with Zoe, but she responded quickly when messages got through (thank you Zoe)

Helen was great! Very clear instructions and very easy to communicate with. The bungalow was as described and the location was beautiful. The pool was a real bonus for when the weather was a bit damp. Would recommend.

Great house in lovely location. Layout suited us well (2 families with kids and grandparents). Washing facilities proved very useful. Pool rota worked well and there was always a time available that suited us (open 8am-7pm). Host responded quickly. Lacking house guidance but not a problem and host responded to advise. Note access into house could be an issue for less able and push chairs-steep steps to front and lowest step broken away (advised host so this might get fixed). Rear access via steps and narrow sloping and muddy path. Parking to rear -you block in your other car. Parking spaces not spacious but adequate. We loved it thank you Beach Retreats!

The Appartement is just perfect: Stunning views from all the bedrooms and the living area and lots of space. The kitchen is very well staffed. We loved the beach and gonig on hikes along the shore. We‘d love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay in Woolacombe at Kathryn's apartment. The apartment was beautifully furnished, very comfy and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed using the pool and sauna. The location was perfect, very close to Woolacombe beach for dog walks and lots of cafes and restaurants. There are also lots of other lovely places to visit within a short drive away. Kathryn was very responsive and helpful and we appreciated all the local tips. Thank you, and we hope to return again!

Loved the chalet, the location is amazing for coastal walks/beaches/and driving to Bude.

We have had a fantastic week at Beachside! Beautiful house and garden just a few meters from the beach and sea! The house was extremely clean and very spacious! Des is a fantastic host, very clear instructions and recommendations and a kind gift left for us too… we would definitely look to return to Beachside! ☀️

Lovely house and garden minutes from a great beach. The open plan living space was great for our holiday. The house was great for our (soon to be) two year old daughter. Bedrooms were spacious and the whole place had a nice feel.

This place is absolutely amazing. There is nothing not to love about it. James is the perfect host with excellent communication and the cake was fantastic If your looking for a truly spectacular house in the most peaceful peaceful location and look no further

Beautifully decorated house with the most incredible views. Every night (apart from 1 as it was raining), we enjoyed the sun setting over the sea. The house was really practical for our family of 3, with a fully functional kitchen, comfortable living area and two very good size bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. The house is located no more than a 10 minute walk in to Woolacombe and super close to the beach. Would highly recommend the fish and chip shop in Mortehoe and the Sri Lankan curry from the beach hut on Barricane Beach. Julia was really helpful and great at keeping in touch if we needed anything. We would love to come again. Thank you for having us. x

It’s a lovely large house, with incredible views. Great kitchen to cook from home, lots of space and big bedrooms. Great place, definitely recommend!

This is truly a wonderful place to stay. The view really is amazing and it is quiet and peaceful. The bed is extremely comfortable and all the bedding and towels smelled flowery fresh. The bath is cavernous, if you leave just the hot tap on for a good while, it heats to a perfect temperature and could hold a small village 🤣. The bungalow has everything you could need, from vinegar for your (absolutely delicious) local fish and chips, to a good pair of binoculars to search the view. The owner was very friendly and supportive. Thoroughly recommended!

Lovely apartment, so close to Crooklets beach and a short walk to the town centre. The apartment was decorated nicely and the bed and sofa were very comfy. Really clean and tidy when we arrived. Great place.

The apartment was very inviting, bright, clean and welcoming. A cream tea and Prosecco awaited us, with milk for our first cuppa. Everything was geared for our comfort and enjoyment. It was such a treat to be able to sit on the South facing balcony to view sea, sky and surfers, and listen to the waves on the beach a stone's throw away. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and high quality, and surprised to have toiletries provided for in the shower and by every sink. Amazing location for walks along the beach and beautiful clifftops and two local cafés and Sainsbury's up the road. There was no need to get in our car for the duration of our stay. We left rested and relaxed, and hope to return again.
