Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Brakel

Our stay at Katia’s house was great. She was very responsive and helpful prior to arrival to make it easy to check in, and communicated during our stay to check in if we needed anything. We enjoyed the area and it is an easy and safe walk to the tram which leads to the city center. We had a nice stay in Ghent and recommend Katia’s place!

Evelien's place was perfect for us and even with a toddler everything worked well so far. It is very convenient that the apartment extends only across the ground floor. Thank you :)

The space was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect in a quiet area that felt peaceful and safe. Communication was prompt, friendly, and helpful throughout. The host even gave reccommendations for local attractions.

A very nice apartment, on a pretty peaceful street and yet less than 200 meters from the nearest shops. The city center is accessible by bus, with a stop nearby. It is a great place to visit Brussels without the buzz of the city.

The apartment was beyond expectations. Clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, modern. Very easy to get into the city centre via public transport. Zawar was very helpful with any enquiries about the apartment and Brussels itself. We would definitely recommend staying here for any trips to Brussels!

3 of us seniors from Ireland stayed here. The number 63 bus is two minute walk and also a convenience store. 63 bus takes you straight to and from central station Brussels. Bus was never crowded. Amaury was a very helpful host, he advised us on where to visit. He answered all my many questions patiently and quickly. The apartment was bright and clean with just basic bedroom furniture. The kitchen is well equipped and living area is lovely. The apartment is on floor 3. There are two lifts but it’s not a difficult climb. Travel for seniors is €8.30 return on any journey inside Belgium provided you return the same day. We explored Brussels, we visited Ghent, Antwerp, Louvain, Namur, Dinant and Mechelen in the 7 days. The trains were spotless and never overcrowded. The cream on the cake was when our MEP Ciaran Mullooly brought us on a 3 hour tour of the European Parliament. Thanks again to Amaury for his kindness and helpful ways. We had a wonderful visit to Belgium

Our stay went really well. Violet is a very nice host, her place is really pretty and well located. Close to the tram and in a quiet area, it allows you to discover Brussels with great ease. I recommend it!!!

The location was perfect for scenic walks, and the surrounding area offered plenty to explore. A special highlight for us was arriving to find the house beautifully decorated for Christmas—such a thoughtful touch that added to the festive spirit and delighted our kids. Overall, this is a truly exceptional place that combines comfort, style, and warmth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable holiday experience. This cabin has an air of tranquility and coziness! Upon arrival, the road was marked with candles in lanterns. Very idyllic and fits perfectly with the atmosphere in the house where there are also many candles and a wonderfully warm pellet stove. Ideal to be away from it all in nature. We took the kids (5 and 7) from the cottage a walk of 11 km through the forest and the area with a restaurant stop in a neighboring village. We had a top quality time. Thank you!

We greatly enjoyed this place. Completely unwind in a green environment with lots of privacy. Ideal destination to spend a sunny winter weekend, but also the sound of the rain on the roof and the crackling of the fireplace make you forget the outside world. Everything was neat and tidy. The cottage is nicely decorated and really everything you could need is there. The ideal way to completely relax and enjoy the tranquility (but also the birds, bunnies and the heron that lands just in front of you). Of course, the jacuzzi and hot tub complete the whole thing, but even the outdoor toilet really belongs to the off grid project! Great! We'd love to come back!

We had a wonderful quiet New Year's Eve stay with our little four-legged friend. Pure nature and the Ark Shelter was super cozy. Ghent is also a beautiful town and only 20 minutes away. We will be happy to come back :)
