Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Borough of Swale

Absolutely beautiful barn providing the opportunity for a perfect couples getaway. Spent my husbands birthday weekend here and it was very peaceful. The interior of the barn was beautifully decorated and very spacious, it had a fully functional kitchen with all the utensils you could ever need and had smart TV's which allowed us to watch whatever our hearts desired. Diewertje left us a little goody basket which we used for breakfast. This barn had many outlets, which is a great feature if you plan to work while away. The only issue we faced was that we got unlucky with cold and rainy weather so the barn was a little cold. However, Diewertje was very hospitable and accommodating by giving us extra firewood, heaters and also came in to check our heating was working. Location was great, 10 minute drive to Tesco for groceries and very quiet at night which was perfect. Overall I would really recommend staying here and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely loved the stay! Sarah and Reuben are fantastic, professional hosts; Sarah was swift and helpful with responses on any queries we had during our stay, and Reuben helpfully prepared some extra firewood for the pizza oven, as the logs we had were on the larger side. Everywhere was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfectly private and idyllic, with supermarkets only a 10 minute drive away. Of course, no review would be complete without mentioning the amazing hot tub - a wonderful, relaxing experience! We would highly recommend staying at their lovely property!

Sarah was an Amazing host and I couldn't have asked for a better host or a more wonderful house. Sarah's home was stunning and was so lovely to be near a wonderful big park.

Mark was very responsive. We had an issue on New Year’s Day which was addressed very quickly, and fairly dealt with subsequently. Great location and great fun.

We had a wonderful stay at The Light House! It was perfectly located for visiting Camber Sands and Rye, in walking distance of the beach and local pub. The house was very comfortable for us (two couples and two dogs) with great amenities and was very clean. The hosts were very thoughtful with leaving us some supplies in the house and turning on the heat/lights before our arrival on a cold day! Their instructions and recommendations were incredibly helpful and useful, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable from check in through to checkout. They were very responsive and accommodating during our stay. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would happily stay here again.

This is our second time staying at Jamie's beautiful house. Incredibly comfy beds, clean, warm & lovely decor throughout. It's a perfect location for both the town and beach. Thanks to Jamie's recommendation we had a fantastic lunch at the Lazy lobster, and we also love RuLu's deli & wine bar & The cheese box.Watching the sunset from the Old Neptune was a real treat, as was the food market at the Umbrella Centre on the Saturday (we actually headed there for The Native Smokehouse who normally has a little hatch selling the best smoked salmon in a little side alley just off Sydenham street). We highly recommend Jamie's house iff you're looking for a lovely relaxing getaway with everything in walking distance.

Just what we needed after a crazy Christmas period... it has absolutely everything you could possibly want or need when you want to get away from everyday life and recharge your batteries... 🪫➡️🔋 wood burning stove ✅️ beautiful bath for her (even had a little spa/ pamper package awaiting) ✅️😌 fire-pit & BBQ for me ✅️ Swedish hot-tub/ jacuzzi that Brian had fired-up & had preheated upon arrival ✅️ no TV 👌 plenty of boardgames (i left as the unbeatenbmonopoly champion 🏆) and even a Christmas 🎄!! Brian left absolutely no stone unturned and was the perfect host- beautifully thoughtful welcome hamper on arrival that included wine and even treats for my 2 dogs!! 👏 👌

Mark was a gracious and responsive host. Mark pro-actively checked- in with me regarding the comfort and satisfaction of the flat. The flat was clean, comfortable and as pictured. The location felt safe and is an idea location close to the train and within walking distance to lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. Should I return to Southend-On-Sea, I would book again.

lovely and peaceful. great pub 1km away and an off licence, petrol station. for anything else you will need to drive. remoteness is a reason to take this property. comfortable bed. Nice accommodation but if you're tall the ceiling slants so the shower might be a problem. the WiFi is patchy.

Really enjoyed our stay, accommodation was very clean and exactly as described, would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Ivys place was spotless,very very clean,the mattress was of the best quality and we slept like babies! The outside space was a bonus. Ivy even gave me a bottle of prosecco as a birthday treat, which was a very thoughtful thing to do. Would absolutely recommend Ivys place to anyone!!

I booked Craig’s Airbnb to celebrate my birthday with a few friends, and I must say that we were impressed with every single detail of the place! We discovered shortly after that it used to be a butcher shop and they re-used the black and white tiles which added a sweet touch to the property. Craig was very responsive and made us feel at home. We would have loved to stay longer!

We had such a wonderful stay at Kass's place! Perfect way to bring in the new year :) The surroundings are beautiful and we felt right at home and very cosy. Kass was great!! She met us for check-in and showed us round the place and was flexible with our arrival/departure times which we really appreciated :) The place was super clean and comfortable, we had a really lovely stay and would highly recommend staying at Kass's. We absolutely loved our stay, extremely comfortable, cosy and relaxing place to call home for a few days. located 10 mins walk from beautiful Shoreham, we really enjoyed being able to walk to lunch at the Mount Vineyard so easily. my daughter loved the big garden and the swing was a lovely surprise! thanks again for everything:)

Staying at Tom's cabin was an experience from beginning to end. We sought to escape the city for a few nights and Tom's cabin is very secluded, it's totally your own space. We ran into a bit of trouble with the items promised as part of the stay, so I'd recommend being well stocked up if you don't travel by car. The walks around the area are lovely and Tom's guide provides recommendations for walks and the lovely pubs/restaurants on those trails. Although, a solar powered cabin in the dead of winter may not have been our best idea, we ran into quite a few difficulties with running out of power and water at the end of our stay. Tom was very responsive to help us deal with these issues as they arose throughout our stay, we were just quite unlucky. He has promised to check the battery in the cabin to ensure this doesn't happen again. Overall we had a lovely winter getaway despite the challenges we faced, we kept warm by the nice big fire and the cabin was nice and toasty.

A beautiful get away! As lovely as the photos with lots of extras provided like firewood and games. Great suggestions for things to do near by or like us, it was a great place to relax. Thank you for having us. Hope to visit again soon.

Our experience here was absolutely incredible! We chose this place to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it turned out to be everything we had envisioned and more. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a peaceful, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. One of the highlights for us was being able to bring our 7-month-old baby along, which made the trip even more special. squeeze. The amenities exceeded our expectations. Everything was spotlessly clean, well-organised, and ready to use, from the kitchen to the living areas. The attention to detail was fantastic. We were particularly impressed by how the host went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, personally greeting us upon arrival and making sure we had everything we needed. one thing could been better is the jacuzzi remaining hot throughout the use after few couple hours and started getting cold.

Very happy staying here. Well kept beautiful place. Really is smack at the doorstep of the forest. Easy to get to pub for food and walking distance to the pooh bridge which also has piglets house, owls house too aswell as the others. Very clean very quiet. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend. Lovely animals, dogs alpacas and a adventurous cat 😁 Alyson was an amazing host and super friendly extremely informative person, she really is helpful and nothing is a bother to her, she responds immediately. We had a great stay, we weren't too lucky with the weather but we still had the most amazing time! It's only an hour away from where we are based in London but still felt like we were in the countryside. The highland cows were lovely you can see them in the early morning. We got to use the barbecue and hot tub and really enjoyed the lovely lemon loaf and bread in the morning! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place! There is a car park there too for the hideaways and our little one did not want to leave!

We loved our stay at Pancake Lodge, beautiful views, immaculate lodge, hot tub was a very good quality one, outdoor dining area was unique and creatively made, all amenities needed and clear communication throughout. Kari also was kind enough to add a birthday banner for us before arrival and helped plan for a later check in putting on some lights warmth etc. Very thoughtful extra touches were appreciated. Would highly recommend and will return.
