What a stunning property! Easy walking distance to all the cafes and pubs in the area, stunning garden and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very basic so you would struggle to make a meal, but with so many options around it’s not really necessary. The host was lovely and very proactive in communicating. Definitely recommend!

My family and I had a fantastic weekend away. The house was clean and in great condition. Lots of necessities provided as well as clear instructions on checkout. Views from the house were incredible. Lots of wildlife we could see from the property too, birds, deer and cows next door. Price was extremely reasonable and lower than others in the area. Amanda was great to converse with, allowed for flexible check in and was quick to respond. Definitely worth the stay. Can’t wait to come back again

We loved our stay here!! The mountain views were incredible and we enjoyed cooking on the fire. The yurt was also very cosy and the rustic wood fired bath and facilities only added to the whole experiences. Sharon was a great host and gave clear instructions on how to get there. We would love to come back!

Jenny was a wonderful host and her place felt like home away from home. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen spotless with everything we needed within easy reach. Waking up in the morning to beautiful views, serenity, kangaroos and birds. We couldn't fault the place, and our cavoodle didn't want to leave either! Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay Jenny!

We had an amazing stay at Lynton’s place! It was fully equipped with everything we needed and more, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The river was fantastic, and the neighborhood was lovely and peaceful. Lynton was a fantastic host—very friendly and took the time to explain everything in detail, which we really appreciated. The house was a perfect place to spend a few days with my four grandchildren while visiting family and enjoying beautiful Lake Eildon. I especially appreciated the secure backyard with a trampoline soccer neck hammocks toys for the kids. It was like coming home. There was space in the living room for the kids to play, jigsaws, cars and colouring in, all whilst I cooking dinner and watching them. The kids said they want to stay there forever … so we’ll definitely be going back

Our stay was fantastic! The location is absolutely beautiful, and Keren was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our checkout time so we didn’t have to rush. This meant a lot to us, especially with a newborn, as it usually takes a bit longer to get everything sorted. We truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture and had a wonderful experience!

You can see that thought has been put into this set up. It’s simple but beautiful. Peaceful and fabulous outlook. Had everything we needed without clutter, which I loved. The little things make a big difference. Beautiful linen. Plenty of excellent amenities Kitchen with everything we needed and it was all quality. Sausage dog planter at the door had me from the start! Highly recommended. Great place.

This is a fabulous place. Exactly what we needed fter 5 days of Christmas socialising. Wineries, beautiful valley and river on the property. with swimming hole. Lovely italian couple and the house was full of everything you could want. Very cool inside the house on hot days and big eat in kitchen with excellemt fridge with ice maker and cold water. Best place ive been to relax and unwind. Thanks Marco and Gina. We will be back

We booked for a last minute anniversary getaway and Tessa offered without asking an early check in which was much appreciated as we were able to pop some produce in the fridge before heading to Chrismonts for lunch. The house is a holiday house style home overlooking the King Valley. We loved the peaceful location within 2 kms of Whitfield with a beautiful view.. It was lovely to sit on the balcony for breakfast and stoke up the fire, which was preset for us ,in the evening. We appreciated the cheese platter and local wine as we didn’t feel like a meal after a big lunch. Just a heads up is there is no wifi and very little phone coverage (Vodafone and Optus) which is the same in the entire valley and the telly did not have ABC or SBS so unless you love reality TV bring a good book. 😆 plenty of kitchen equipment, good towels etc. Also as King Valley less touristed than other wine regions, many wineries are not open mid week, but a more personal and unique experience which suited us

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views of the farmland and the surrounding mountains are exceptional. The farmhouse with it views from every room and the wide verandah was special especially for us city people. It gave us a brief taste of country life which was intoxicating. We highly recommend this as a place to stay and Sarah was very a very helpful and flexible host.

We loved out stay at Eileen's place, it was extremely spacious for 6 adult guests and we loved the back yard and deck which is where we spent most of our time. It was an extremely hot weather weekend and with no ceiling fans we did find the bedrooms quite warm and stuffy with no air flow; there was one pedestal fan in the main bedroom but it was very noisy on high, knowing the weather was going to be hot we did take one of our own. The air conditioning in the dining and kitchen area however was a godsend. We were looking forward to using the bbq for breakfast but it did not have a solid grill plate so we just cooked the eggs and bacon inside in the frypan. The location is fabulous, a very close walk to the main shopping area and the hotels where we were able to walk for dinner and lunch. Also close to the parks and river for swimming. We were in Euroa for a wedding just out of town so this was perfect accommodation for us. Would definitely stay here again. Comms with Eileen was 🙌

We really enjoyed our time. It's private and peaceful at the back of the property (seperate driveway) and well located to nearby towns. The cottage is really comfortable and great value for money. Highly recommend also if you're keen on fishing and taking the boat out to Nillahcootie.

This Airbnb is a gem to stay at. It has all the amenities you need for a beautiful vacation, including wood fire, hot tub, gorgeous scenery, fully stocked kitchen with every tool for cooking, comfortable beds, great wifi, etc etc. It was very comfortable and very clean. There was attention to detail. We loved our stay and waking up to kangaroos on the property is always pleasant.

By far the best place I've stayed with my family.... EVER ! The view is incredible, the house is stunning, it has everything you possibly need and more !! Being able to launch my boat from the waterfront was amazing and the spa at night under the stars was incredible. The open outdoor fire place was put to good use and we ate outside every night, as the outdoor setting is like Tuscany :) This is oficially my favourite ever AIRBNB. Huge thanks Tania, for sharing this place.

Given its quiet rural location, Bonnie Doon is within easy reach of fertile, rolling farmland, making it a great place to visit at harvest time. In the spring, there’s plenty of pleasant weather for active outdoor travellers. During summer, the weather can get quite hot, so sun protection is vital. Its proximity to Bonnie Doon means visitors can spend the day on one of the resort’s 85 runs. In the summer, people come to Mount Buller to hike and mountain bike along the trails.

Lake Eildon

The lakeside town of Eildon, a 45-minute drive from Bonnie Doon, is a popular place for hiking, water-skiing, and renting houseboats. Alternatively, you can explore the shore and venture to the many lookout points with panoramic views of the lake, such as Easts Lookout, the Spillway Lookout, or Mount Pinniger Lookout, and Trig Point.

Yarra Ranges National Park

This enormous rainforest is a protected bio reserve located just under two hours away by car. Cruise down the iconic Black Spur Drive on the Maroondah Highway, surrounded by tall mountain ash trees. At the park’s Rainforest Gallery, you can walk among the treetops on the 40-metre long observation platform, which is one of only three found in Australia. There are also a number of hikes that end with breathtaking lookouts, such as Mount Donna Buang via Mount Victoria.
