Andi and Hayden are great hosts and the space was perfect for us (3 couples). The farmhouse is beautifully decorated, with a fantastic kitchen and comfy beds, and we enjoyed the hot tub and all of the little extras, like robes and breakfast fixings. Thanks again!

I would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice quiet stay hot tub was relaxing and the separate cabin was a plus for couples looking to get away.

Perfect space for a cottage getaway! Doug is a very helpful, organized, responsive host. This cottage is extremely well stocked with necessities and is decorated with cozy personal touches that make it feel like home. All rooms and the hot tub were extremely clean and comfortable. The cottage is exactly as advertised and getting in and out was a breeze. I really enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it!

This place is amazing and the pictures don’t do it justice. We stayed here for a week at the end of August and this cottage is set on the most amazing lake which is perfect for swimming and all water activities. They provided everything you could really think of like bedding, towels and laundry facilities. Every single evening we were surrounded by deer as they come onto the property to eat which was incredible to see. Would highly suggest this cottage to anybody looking for a week in paradise. Constance Bay cottage was a perfect getaway! We stayed in the winter but could only imagine how nice it would be in the summer. The restaurant right across the road is so friendly and tasty food. The cottage had everything you need and beyond. The hosts were responsive and attentive to all our needs during our 2 week stay. It was nice to walk along the frozen shoreline and look out across the bay! Beds were very comfy and the whole place was clean. Would definitely recommend staying here summer or winter. Also, we were able to get Ubers to and from Kanata no problem.

What a fantastic place! Chris's place has everything you need for your stay. The cabin is in a perfect location for anyone that wants to relax and getaway. I was very impressed with the amount of effort Chris has put in to make sure you have everything you need during your stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

We definitely got more than we paid for! James was very responsive and kind and his property had everything we needed. It had an ample supply of firewood and it was so peaceful - the view to the lake was absolutely mesmerising. Our two shih-tzus felt right at home. It was an amazing staycation for us. The kitchen was fully stocked and drinking water was provided for. We are now making plans to come back in the summer and also fall. Our last day we had the pleasure of meeting James and he was very nice! Thank you James and wifey for your beautiful property. We can’t wait to be back!

From the moment we arrived, Jared went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. His hospitality was truly exceptional – he even extended our check-out time to 1 pm, giving us extra time to enjoy the serene surroundings. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and had all the amenities we could ask for. The lake view was breathtaking, and it was the perfect spot to relax and reconnect with nature. Whether it was answering questions promptly or ensuring our comfort, Jared’s attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. Our stay at Renne’s home was absolutely wonderful! The house and garden are beautifully maintained, and the location was perfect for stargazing—peaceful, serene, and away from city lights. Lovely house, friendly and caring hosts. Stayed for a few days during winter with family and the place had everything we needed. The city nearby has all kinds of stores you might need for food and extra of the basic supplies. Will definitely try to go back for a summer stay.

Our stay at the Robin's Nest was a perfect getaway for my husband and I. We enjoyed the quaint rustic cabin and stayed cozy with the woodstove. The wood-fired sauna and cold plunge tub were a real treat! We look forward to staying here again.

Our stay at the cabin on Golden Lake was absolutely perfect! As always, we were warmly greeted by Cindy, whose friendly smile and attentive care make every visit feel extra special. The cabin was already warm upon arrival, and its cozy ambiance welcomed us for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were delighted to find delicious Lindor chocolates waiting for us—a sweet and thoughtful touch! The log cabin itself is absolutely charming, with its 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace offers stunning views of Golden Lake, where you can enjoy ice fishing or skating right outside your door. Plus, we discovered an incredible skating trail in the nearby woods—an absolute must-try for outdoor enthusiasts. We can’t wait to come back again. Our family had a wonderful stay. The stunning views are even better than the pictures. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor activities, with canoeing and local attractions being the highlights for us. Hosts Cindy and Mike were extremely helpful, offering excellent recommendations and exceeding our expectations. The place had a welcoming vibe. Highly recommended—a hidden gem.

The retreat is a lovely tranquil spot in the Ottawa Valley. It is spacious and comfortable, with lots of big windows looking out on the surrounding countryside. The only close neighbours are the deer and the wild turkeys. Carol is a friendly and charming host and she responds right away to any requests. Highly recommended! I plan to return, any time that urban life gets to be too much!

This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !
