This place is so amazing! My family traveled from Kansas City to Galveston for a weekend getaway showed up to this wonderful property that was immaculate and so perfect for our trip! It was walking distance from the beach, I walked up to the water every morning! Clean and brand new feel! Great neighborhood! Perfect location for a Galveston visit! Parking is great! Smelled fresh and clean very updated furniture and appliances! Outside area to chat with neighbors! Fenced in so you feel protected! Great experience! Book here if you are going to Galveston! Way better than any hotel! Great air conditioning units! Perfect!! Will be back! You can rent a golf cart and cruise all over the area and this location is perfect for that! Clean more homier than a hotel!

Our stay at Island Gems was great. The unit was very clean and exactly as described. Check-in and check-out was very easy and had constant communication with hosts. Location was within a few minutes of all of Galveston's offerings. Would definitely recommend and will consider staying here again.

I had a fantastic stay at Island Gems - Emerald! The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The king beds in every room were a huge plus. The location was great, close to the beach and plenty of local spots. A must-try is BLVD Seafood—it was my favorite restaurant during the trip! The hosts were thoughtful and made everything easy. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Galveston!

I can not say enough good things about thia place. The hosts are beyond amazing and try their best to accommodate in anyway they can. This was my firat airbnb and whenever I cruise out of Galveston this will be our permanent home away from home. The home was even more beautiful thwn the pictures, the host are up front and honest about everything and very clear with instructions. They respond super quick and are incredibly kind. We left a guest bool behind so other people can sign and leave notes for and about their stay. The hosts went above and beyond their duty and we can not recommend a better place to stay. They treat you like family. Ive never felt more comfortable away from home. The home was clean, secure, and way bigger then we imagined. If you are considering this airbnb DO IT!!! YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST AMAZONG AIRBNB ON THE MARKET!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH HAN WE HAD THE MOST AMAZING STAY!!!!

Perfect spot for our family getaway. We loved being able to sit on the deck to watch the waves. With only steps away from the sand, we took lots of walks along the water. The house was the right distance away from crowds, but convenient to restaurants, groceries, etc. Beautiful house with everything you need.

STOP Scrolling and book now! Our stay at this beach house was amazing, and Jay, the host, made it even better. The house is but a 5-minute walk to and from the beach. Jay provides so many free beach toys and chairs. There is also a golf cart for a super reasonable fee. We spent a lot of time fishing off the dock and were surprised by how many fish we caught—it was a blast! The house itself was perfect—clean, modern, and really well-kept. It had everything we needed to feel right at home. The outdoor space was great too; we loved having our meals outside and just hanging out in the breeze. Jay was really attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, which we really appreciated. Jay himself is a major perk of this booking; solid 10 of 10! Whether you're looking for a spot for a family vacation, a romantic getaway, or just some downtime by the sea, this place is a great pick. We had a fantastic time and would totally recommend booking this house!

We had a great time at this beautiful home. If you’re looking for a peaceful location away from the crowds with absolutely amazing views, this is your spot. Stunning views of the salt marshes and Galveston Bay, with beautiful sunsets over the water. Lots of bird life and quick, easy access to the drive-on beach. Perfect for anyone who wants to relax and connect with nature. The home is beautiful, spacious and comfortable with plenty of amenities to make it a lovely stay. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful unit! The house had everything we needed and kept our family entertained during the entire stay! The pool was a family favorite and so was the short walk to the beach! The only major issue was not having water for the first day of our stay, but the host was great with communication throughout.

The house and the hosts were both awesome. The house was very cozy and close to the beach as aptly described in the listing. The instructions were clear and precise from the time of booking till check out. The house was very clean and every item was labeled which helped us to know which item was kept where. The entire experience was stress free and quite pleasurable. Hosts Leena and Pravin were very responsive, friendly and precise which helped in a making the entire check in, check out experience very breezy. The house was newly done which looked exactly the same as we saw in the pics. It had all the amenities that we needed. It especially had the 240v EV charging plug that helped since we were using a Tesla. We loved that it had 2 king size beds and ample closet space. We would recommend this house to anyone planning to travel to Galveston and we would for sure plan to book this home the next time we travel back. Excellent experience overall!!

Great place for a work and play. Job At Moody Gardens and fish by the pass. Away from all the tourist area and so peaceful. Extended our stay we look forward to another trip soon The extra room downstairs, fire pit, bbq pit, tv’s every room, laundry machines, fenced yard, and all the other amenities was perfect. Plenty of outdoor furniture to relax in the Gulf Breeze. Great place 110%!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Rod and Patty’s. Highly recommend this house for your next visit. They had everything you need, were very quick to respond to questions and gave some great recommendations on restaurants! Perfect location and beautiful pools.

Very friendly host, extremely nice location with perfect views. By far one of the best host and stays we have had. Checked on us several times, recommended places, gave great directions on everything about the condo, thought of everything to make our stay more comfortable. Very professional. 5 starts by far.

Directions to check in were confusing. Check in was 3:00 later changed to 5:00pm. Generic directions about amenity’s that did not apply to our rental maid it confusing to say the least. Condo rental office was not aware of us renting the unit add kept asking if we were guests of the owner. Before allowing us to obtain the fobs to gain entry. The unit was nice and the location was great. We had a great time just wish to see improvement in check in directions. For future guests.
