Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bogue Sound

We loved staying at Pook's Place! The location was great. Beautiful views of the marsh and just half a mile to the beach. Our dogs loved the large fenced in yard and the treats that were left for them. The house was very clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was perfect! We highly recommended this place!

Great house with awesome backyard! The mattresses are super comfortable and the kitchen is stacked with useables for cooking and baking. The game room was also an incredible bonus for our trip with kids.

This place was very quiet and clean. Alex was a great host and very fast at responding! An amazing home and when we are back in the area we will definitely be there again!

My husband and I were visiting with family in the New Bern area and wanted a place to stay that was close to them. Luis's house was exactly what we were looking for. We found it to be spacious and very clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. Our stay there was very nice and we will certainly be looking to stay at Luis's house again in future visits to the area.

Great location! Very clean! We only stayed one night for a wedding and it was perfect! Everything was cleaned from top to bottom!

This rental was the best ever! The decor was outstanding and like a page from a House Beautiful magazine. The kitchen had everything you could need and more! Coffee lovers will be in heaven with the coffee bar and Cooks will be in love with the well -stocked spices as well as pots and pans. The bathrooms were lovely and we appreciated all the toiletries supplied. The front porch and backyard are a gem! Both are relaxing for sipping tea or having a meal. I look forward to returning to this rental when in the area! Thank you so much for all the care, love and thought that was put into this warm and inviting home!

This was a wonderful place to stay! We had a large group of 12 people and everyone had plenty of room and there were many things in the house to keep the group entertained (many TV’s, pool table, swimming pool, and the awesome fire pit with swing chairs around it). Alex was an awesome host and responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. We all enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

David and Patricia were great hosts, always responding within a few minutes. The house was neat and clean and very convenient to Historic New Bern.

I had a comfortable stay at this airbnb! I was in town for 11 days and this place made me feel at home. It was exactly as described. It was very easy to check in and out which is a plus. The area was very quiet and on a dead end which was nice. I would consider this place for the next time im in jacksonville and I would recommend to others.

This was our fourth trip back to Jeffrey's place and we will continue to come back each year. The place is clean and is in an amazing location right across from the beach. It is obvious they continue to make improvements each year as well and any questions that you have are responded to promptly. Everything is so convenient about this place, we look forward to coming again next year!

Parker's place is a great bargain for the amount of livable space. The location is excellent. There's great neighborhood walking, good coffee and diners nearby and also close to cargo district and downtown. Parker was very responsive.

We’ve stayed at this location a number of times, always a great stay; that’s why we look for it every time we come to Morehead. This was our first visit since the remodel/reno work has been done. Teresa was an amazing host. The communication was fantastic from the time I booked to check out. It’s a beautiful space and extremely peaceful. Just perfect! We were there for a wedding and unfortunately did not have much time to truly enjoy the area. If/when we go back to this area, we will absolutely book here again! Teresa made sure we had everything we needed. She truly went above and beyond. We had a lovely welcome note, a few of our favorite beverages waiting in the fridge and a homemade treat. I highly recommend!

We just completed our third stay with Marilyn. Our family absolutely loves this spot. It's so nice that our family of 6 can fit fairly comfortably and it's especially great that there are two full bathrooms. We also love how well kept the property grounds are, as well as how easy it is to get to the beach. We just got home a little while ago and my 4 teens are already talking about planning our next trip! Thank you Marilyn!

Very nice place and the bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of extras and it was a short walk to the beach. The area was very clean and very safe feeling. Grocery store, restaurants ice cream souvenirs all within a mile away. Host was excellent, in communication and very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Diane’s condo was absolutely amazing. The ocean view was spectacular. The condo was spacious, uncluttered, and exceptionally clean. Diane was extremely easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all of my emails. I would definitely chose to stay at Diane’s property again.

Took a minute to figure out where the condo was located, but, once there, the stay was very peaceful and centrally located between Beaufort and Morehead City, giving us plenty of options of things to do and places to eat. Setting was beautiful. Park next door for early a.m. walks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was easy to find and matched the description. Great value. We would/will stay here again!

This place had it all and I felt right at home. The building is between the sound and the ocean side. Felt like they were both in my backyard. The unit does not have a view but the complex had so many places to sit, swing, eat and had several grills for use. Cary was amazing and was always available if needed!! Will def come here again soon!!
