The house off the beaten track. If you want be totally alone in the woods in a house steeped in history, this is the place. Most of the inventory is historically and intact. A mini museum. Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. Great cabin for rent in scenic surroundings. Located 5 minutes away from downtown Etne, at Stordalsvatnet. In the water there is trout, sea trout, salmon and char. Great hiking opportunities "right outside your doorstep". Fine nature experiences are only a short drive to the spectacular Langfossen, which has a drop of almost 600 meters. Driving on National Tourist Roads to Hardanger can be recommended if you want to explore the beautiful western nature and the famous attraction Trolltunga.
