This place is an absolute gem. It’s perfectly located so you can enjoy some peace and quiet while it’s also close to town. The lush surroundings are so beautiful and Yona and Alex are great hosts- always responsive and ready to help should you have any questions. 10/10 experience staying at Casa Alta, will definitely be back soon 🙌

this place has great views, direct access to the sea for daily snorkels or kayaking, or just swimming. the sun is relentless here, so bring lots of sunscreen. the place is remote and isolated. you have to take a water taxi to get anywhere out of the resort. the hostess will cook your meals to order. the room has no AC, no TV and it is truly meant for disconnecting and relaxing, enjoying the fresh sea air. during the evening there are these little bigs that bite called chitras and there are tiny lizards as well diring the evening. all part of being in the tropics and being close to the jungle. i really enjoyed myself in paradise.

Maya is a wonderful host; she could not have been kinder or more welcoming. The location is remote! But the use of a kayak was great: we were able to paddle to a nice beach and there were more facilities in the same area.

Luis is a great host. I really enjoyed this quite place really close to the center. Everything was perfect. It is a very comfortable place with a lot of privacy. And Luis is a very helpful Person

The house was rustic but cozy. The kitchen was fairly basic but more than sufficient for our needs. The balcony with view of the sea was a great place to eat or relax in the hammocks. Bastimentos was peaceful but close enough to everything we wanted to do. Some previous comments mentioned noise but all we heard was the sound of the surf crashing. Lily and Dan were next door, and were very responsive and super helpful with local insights. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat if we're fortunate enough to be back this way.

I loved my short stay at Heiner’s property! I was sad to have only booked one day. Heiner and his onsite staff were very friendly and attentive. This unit is one of four rooms and is located a brief 5 min water taxi from the main island. It is the perfect location to feel secluded by still have access to town. If you decide not to venture into town, there is an amazing onsite restaurant. High quality and tasty food at a very reasonable price. Already planning a future stay!

This house in Bocas Del Toro was great! I would definitely recommend. The house is only about 10 mins from downtown. We had a car during our visit, but took the taxi a few times. The taxis were only about $3 to get downtown. The pictures match the house perfectly. The kitchen is very well equipped, the rooms are nice and clean, and bathrooms have all the amenities you could need. There are air conditioners in two out of the three bedrooms in the house. It was a bit humid during our stay, but having the a/c more than made up for it. The welcome gift was a great touch and very much appreciated. Our host communicated well and was always fast to respond to all my questions. Overall, I'd say this house was definitely worth staying and would recommend to anyone staying in Bocas Del Toro.

We loved staying at Sunanda’s and Vincent’s Airbnb! Sunanda met us at our boat into Bocas and her warmth immediately made us feel at ease. The house itself is stunning, a lovely space to spend time in. It’s open to the outside, so takes a little getting used to, and visitors need to be prepared for the mosquitoes (nets around beds helped but additional measures also needed) and occasional other creatures! We did a couple of excursions through Al Natural (the resort that the Airbnb is connected to) which were well organised, and we saw lots of wildlife (sloths, red frogs, cayman, monkeys and more). We ate at the resort one evening and also enjoyed excellent cocktails most nights at sunset! Sunanda cooks Indian food and we ordered some one evening which was delivered by boat that day and was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this Airbnb for a unique and special stay.

We had an awesome stay at Lionel's place! It definitely takes a bit used to going up the hill but as long as you're not completely out of shape or have mobility issues it is totally fine (can get a bit slippery after it rains). We absolutely loved the community and felt very safe and had most of the things we needed. A trip or two over to Bocas Town was great for larger water containers and extra groceries. The deck (with a glorious view) was our favourite place to be and there was usually a gentle breeze to keep the heat down and the bugs away. All of the beds had bug nests if needed and were pretty comfortable. After watching locals carry up materials and other items to the 2 newer builds on top of the hill we really appreciated the effort and energy that would have gone into getting all of the amenities up the hill (large fridge with freezer!). Highly recommended for the more adventurous vacationers. Plenty of space for our family of 4 to spread out and have some separation.

If you need a place to recharge and feel totally free, book this place. We had a great time in Jenni her place. She is a very lovely woman, really friendly. She wanted to help us with anything! The bed is comfy, the kitchen has everything you need, the outdoor shower is so cool! And check out the monsana restaurant across the street, amazing Italian food. 10/10 recommended for people who love nature.

We just spent several days at Casa Piedra and loved every second we were there! pick up from the dock in town was easy and the location in Dolphin Bay is beautiful! The house sits on top of a small hill and takes in the surrounding views and the breeze. We were greeted by the property care taker and he made sure we had everything we needed and explained how everything in the house worked! We spent hours kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling. The gardener stopped by and offered us a guided walking tour through the jungle. The property has all types of fruit growing fresh! From the dock we saw dolphins in the bay nearly every night. We stayed during a new moon and were able to experience the bioluminescence in the bay. Sit on the dock at night and kick you feet and watch the water light up like twinkling stars! The beds were comfortable. There is a full time kitchen so stop at one of the stores in town and get some of your favorites! There is a tv but we never even attempted to turn it on! The owners were incredible! They were very easy to communicate with and offered suggestions on things to do and see. They provide a list of contacts at the house for any excursion you could possibly want! The hosts, Brian and Amy own a neighboring resort and were also incredible in offering any assistance, suggestions and answering any questions we had. We actually had dinner at their place on evening and the food was amazing! The combination of everything was just perfect! We will definitely be back!

Olivia’s place is as amazing as she is! She was so helpful, friendly and very responsive. The house is perfect for viewing wildlife - we saw sloths every day in the trees in the yard! Walkable to many places to eat and explore or relax at the beach. The house is off grid so we had power and hot water even when our friends nearby didn’t. Great WiFi, fully stocked kitchen. We even enjoyed refilling the hummingbird feeder on the porch to watch them constantly come and go! Helpful info: It’s about a $20ish taxi to get to town depending on number of people from the house or you can take a little bus that leaves from Bom Bom.
