Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Blue Ridge Lake

Wonderful location, close to town. Had everything in the kitchen to enjoy thanksgiving with the whole family!! Definitely recommend and will rebook!!

My family and I stayed at Gilbert’s cabin for the Christmas Holidays and really enjoyed it. The cabin sits on a large piece of land, so even though there are neighbors it feels very private. It was very quiet and the fire pit outside was the perfect place to stargaze. The cabin is only 10-15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and there are also plenty of hikes nearby as well. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake!

Nicks Game house was a huge success for our party. I had 7 13 year old Boys with us and the had the best ever sleepover! The house is very well appointed and clean. The bedrooms are large and the closet space is huge. The house is a 10 min ride to downtown Blue Ridge. It is located on a state road, which was perfectly fine but it was a little bit of a struggle to find the correct mailbox and entrance at first. Google earth the location so that you know what you are looking for. A funky mailbox at the street might help. Overall, A+++

It was perfect mountain getaway and many thoughtful touches like a fire was laid, ready in their beautiful cozy basement - it was clutch after standing in the pouring rain for 3 hours at our son’s lacrosse game! Kitchen well stocked with utensils and cookware! The creek in front of the house was soothing and lovely to look at. Great restaurants & breweries nearby! All perfect!

This house was in a great location and was perfect for what we needed. So much space for multiple families to spread out. Close to town and other activities but far enough out to feel peaceful. My only caution is that if someone struggles with stairs they will not be able to get to the hot tub or fire pit area but maybe I should have been able to tell that if I read closer. We had a great time living in our own little Hallmark movie during our get away.

Very responsive host, amazing spacious house with gorgeous views! Kitchen had all appliances we needed. Outside patio had plenty of chairs and gas heater was a game changer!

This place was amazing, highly recommend! We were able to roam around on their 92 acres care free, and we visited some local shops. The host was so amazing to talk to and told me a little bit about the land and history which always makes things so much more personal. We are planning a trip back as we speak. It's so nice to be away from the hustle but still have such amazing things to do around the area.

Lovely home in the woods, peaceful and serene. Plenty of space inside and out to enjoy. Minutes from the town square, and great food to enjoy.

Karen and Greg were wonderful host to myself and my girlfriend when we stayed at their property for our anniversary. Before going to the property, Karen made it a point to make sure that I had specific directions and instructions for how to arrive at their property and how to navigate within the mountains. We had told them it was our anniversary and they surprised us by having cake and wine in our kitchen for when we first arrived at the property. P.S the cake was delicious. The location was beautiful and the photos don’t capture how nice it is in person. The amenities were excellent, the jacuzzi was amazing and so was the fire pits. When we were at the property, Greg and Karen made both of us feel right at home with their kindness and generosity. I would give this place 10/10 and would come back and stay at the property again. Greg and Karen were amazing as hosts, and I would recommend anyone, especially couples, to stay at this gorgeous property for a weekend or an extended weekend!

Mike and Karen were wonderful hosts! They greeted us upon arrival! Made us feel right at home. Even though they live above the apartment they were never intrusive and gave us our space and our privacy. They even gave us fresh eggs as we were leaving. Love the frog garden!

We had a great weekend getaway! It was very quiet, yet not far from downtown (8 miles of I remember). There were two places to eat within 1/2 a mile. There was also a waterfall within g 4 miles from the cabin. Scott was very friendly!

I had a lovely stay at the Overlook on Main and found both Cynthia and Rose to be friendly and responsive to any questions I had. Check in and check out were very easy. The spot is located In the heart of downtown Ellijay… shops and restaurants right outside the door. Lovely side patio, too!!

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the River Station Apartment! The location was great with several local restaurants within walking distance. Corie was also extremely responsive.

What a great location and a beautiful place to stay! Walkable to everything! The only thing I would say is that it needed more pillows for the bed and some extra shampoo and conditioner. Other then that it was fantastic, I would stay again!

By far one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in, and we travel often. Very cozy, comfy, and luxurious. The host goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything needed for an enjoyable stay. I love that there are nice fluffy blankets to use while lounging around. The bed is to die for, and the shower is heaven. We enjoyed being able to bring our fur baby with us and it was so nice to be in walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend staying here! We will be back!

The place was clean, cozy, and absolutely exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice! The property was gorgeous and we even got to feed the trout off of the bridge! The hosts checked in on us on our first day to make sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to hike, there are plenty of good hikes within 20ish minutes of the place which was super convenient. It was the perfect place for a quiet, peaceful mountain getaway. We loved every minute!

Loved loved loved this condo! We will be booking again and coming back with family. The bedrooms were spacious and both large with large bathrooms. Extremely spacious for two couples and maybe a kid or two :) the place was extremely clean. Only suggestion I have is to extend check out to 11 so you can get a reservation at the black sheep down the road on your way out of town! They did extend this for us and we were grateful!

Staying here was the perfect spot for a Blue Ridge get away. Close to all restaurants and shops breweries and wine tours. Easy to get to the trails for hiking. Easy to find and the apartment was the cleanest Air bnb I have ever stayed in. Location was perfect and the recommendations were spot on. Communication was great as well. 10/10

We just needed a quick getaway! Erica was wonderful to work with! She was very helpful and quickly responsive! Just wish we could have stayed longer ! Her place was beautiful and so convenient to downtown! She offered lots of recommendations! We will definitely stay again!
