Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bloomington

This was our 3rd stay at the manor. Just as always, Pete was very helpful and made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Depending on availability, he has been able to grant us an early check-in and late check-out when we requested them in advance. Pete is continually updating, renovating, and adding new things to the location. He even gave us a list of some updates coming in the future. The location is huge and has plenty of areas for lounging. We always enjoy our stays here, and we can't wait until the next time we can visit.

We loved staying at this cottage. The house was pristine. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. The reason for our trip was unexpectedly a funeral and it was a lovely place to go and be while grieving a loved one. Peaceful, clean, quiet, close to family. Thank you!

Large comfortable apartment: This apartment has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All clean and attractive. The kitchen was well stocked with pods for the coffee maker and generous snacks. We appreciated the pastries provided for our breakfast and the munchies for our evening. My brother and I grew up in the area and knew that it was a combination of Wesleyan campus and commercial. We were looking for proximity to Tobin’s Pizza. The pizza was just as good as we remembered. We often return to see friends and family in the area. We will definitely stay here again.

I loved this place, it was within walking distance of almost all the historic places I wanted to go to and was a beautiful and clean. It was very nice to stay in a house that was special in its own right. Parking was great and free, and I appreciated the pride flag outside, it made me feel pretty comfortable with who I was giving my money to. I unfortunately did have some issues with the jets in the bathtub, but the hosts were kind about it and promised to look into it before the next guest. The entrance stairs were a bit disappointing as they were a servant’s staircase instead of the grand one inside, but I was satisfied to wander around a bit on my own to see the rest of the house. It would be really cool if there was some more information about it around or someone there to talk to. I did not order breakfast, but the options did look interesting, though unfortunately I couldn’t find a way to order any drinks. Otherwise it was great and I would gladly take another trip here!

The place was very clean, comfortable, and as described. Alan and Karissa were extremely fast to respond and resolve a few small issues and questions we had.

Great location for seeing the Lincoln historical exhibits. We loved being in this historic building. The house is so beautifully maintained. Our suite was a blend of contemporary and vintage. Bed was comfortable, bathroom lovely. Living room comfortable. Used the kitchenette for light breakfast in the morning. Must be able to navigate steep staircase to second floor. Would love to return during summer months and use the lovely outside space.

We had a great time! Megan’s lodge is very private and the dock was beautiful! The only thing we didn’t realize is we needed to bring our own grilling tools so we had to run out to Dollar General for that. Otherwise this was perfect and such a cute place.

We rented this spot because we had a family wedding near by over a weekend. This was the best choice for our family of 7, we fished, swam, floated and used the slip and slide and weren't ready to leave. We are even talking about renting it again for a cousin weekend next summer. We had asked ahead of time if we could check in a bit early because we were flying in and the host said that was fine but we didn't end up needing it. This is a great place to stay, lots to do!

Melissa is a great host. The check in process was very simple and she went above and beyond accommodating us for our stay. Her hospitality is amazing and made our stay feel like we were at home. I recommend anyone looking to stay here to do so!

This cabin was perfect! Everything I wanted and more. Came here with a group of friends to get away from the city life. The fishing was great, cought a few fish even! The cabin was secluded and private perfect place to get away. The host was great as well. Very friendly and responsive with any of our questions. I will definitely be back and recommend the cabin to friends. Cabin live!!

The house was amazingly beautiful and cozy. I felt like I was at home. The decor and cleanliness were my favorite. Kristin messaged me a few times to make sure our stay was going pleasant. It was definitely a wonderful experience and birthday thanks to Sticks and Stones! Highly recommend. My family and our dogs enjoyed our stay very much!
