Apart from the stunning views and great place, good aircon and fans, well equipped, i loved the thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Friendly , prompt communication was welcome - I’ve rarely had a bad Airbnb experience but this was one of the best. As others have said the amazing view does come at the price of a short but steep climb from the main strip but there is a car port right outside front door. Thanks Sharon

Dear Christine, We were so happy we could arrive early. You made us feel so welcome like we were friends. The appartment is lovely.We were surprised by all the taste home made goodies and all the lovely things in the fridge.And the cake it was so jummm. We loved the appartment! Even on a rainy day the view is to die for.The appartment os so comfy. The people are so friendly. We love Palm Cove . It was our third visit but never stayed in a beautiful appartment like this! Fabulous 6 star place. Just like Bali with living and sleeping pods surrounded by fish pons, pools and lush tropical vegetation. Plunge pool in back private with surrounding palms and waterfall. Everything was luxury and clean. Lots of kitchen and bar things. Loved the outdoor shower in the master enclosed in it's own little garden. Strong air conditioning. It was pouring with rain our few days in the area and we were so glad we could hunker down in such a wonderful place.

The private surrounding in an excellent community was wonderful. The large deck and pool were super. Just a few minutes walk to the beach! Close to restaurants and other activities. Such as the rain forest or excursions to the great barrier reef. The electronic sliding gate added to security. If ever in the area would not consider any place else and would stay again if available. Highly recommended!

Wow… faultless Matched description - 100 percent Caroline met me on site and provided an in depth and very friendly induction. A box of chocs and a bottle of fizz was left in the fridge - very nice touch Stay was faultless - a very attentive host with the most beautiful apartment If I visit Australia again I would definitely stay at Caroline’s again

Great accommodation in prime location, walkable distance to all the restaurants and marina. Four Mile Beach is literally at your doorstep. Everything is well maintained at the property, the heated pool is wonderful . The hosts are really welcoming and hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay at the Coral Villas and would definitely recommend this accommodation.

The option of being able to accommodate an extended family was of prime importance. The layout enabled us to have our own private spaces plus a lovely communal area around the main pool which is where the grandkids spent most of their time. Easy access to the beach was also a plus. Anyone with a large family group should consider this property.

Can’t speak highly enough about this incredible location. The apartment is even more beautiful than the photos, with tons of space and an amazing balcony. Great amenities at resort. Everything in town walkable within minutes. Amazing hosts, who were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A highlight of our vacation was staying here.

Krystal was extremely friendly and easy to deal with. Great location and amenities, being able to use the hotel pool. Loved that there were fans as well as aircon. Clean and everything you need supplied. The apartment was darker, as in less light, than other towns/cities we stay but, as my husband pointed out, it’s because of the extreme heat in summer, most accomodation in Port Douglas is like that. Would definitely stay again.

There were lots of places in Port Douglas to choose from, but they all looked the same - plain, ordinary and antiseptic. Then we found the Artist’s Cottage. It was, as it looks, filled with charm and character. Just the kind of unique experience we look for. Spacious and comfortable, it was our home for a week. We loved that it’s a separate elevated cottage, with a wonderful front balcony for morning coffee and late afternoon naps and it has all the amenities you need, like extra pool towels. It’s a leisurely 15 min walk to the center of downtown - just the right distance to walk off the ice cream - and a short 5 min walk over to 4 mile beach. Tina helped us by arranging an early arrival and was super responsive throughout the visit. If you’re looking for something beyond ordinary, this is the place.

We had a lovely stay at Amanda’s place. The unit is very tidy and well equipped so we felt very at home. The location is excellent with easy access to restaurants and essentials. Amanda is very responsive and went out of her way to ensure we had a portacot and high chair for our toddler. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Port Douglas.

Loved the location! Easy to walk everywhere. Restaurants close by, but far enough away from any bars and music. The balcony was wonderful to sit on and at first we were disappointed that the louvered doors did not slide open like they apparently used to, however, because it's warm in Port Douglas, we weren't sure we would have slid them open anyway. We would highly recommend Tyla's place to friends.

We had an amazing stay at Cozie Homes’ fantastic accommodation in Palm Cove. The house was in a superb location just a stones throw from the beautiful Palm Cove beach, which also has numerous bars, restaurants and shops close by. The accommodation itself was spotless, beautifully furnished, and well appointed. The outside space was very comfortable for 4 people to spend time in, and the barbecue was a very welcome addition, with everything we needed to use it provided for our stay. The pool was also a very welcome feature in the tropical heat! The bathrooms were modern and spotless, as were the bedrooms, with wonderfully comfortable beds, and fans and air conditioning to keep cool in the heat. We loved the area which was very peaceful and locals were friendly. We even used the local health club gym and swimming pool which you can pay to attend on a pay as you go basis. We couldn’t recommend Cozie Homes highly enough, being great hosts and providing everything we needed for our stay

This was the most amazing stay! The staff were so friendly and helpful with booking tours and looking after bags! The location of the resort was great, walking distance everywhere. The apartment was also very clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay here and recommend this amazing resort.

Everything was perfect, the place was big, comfortable and really pretty. Property is surrounded by trees so it was very private and the pool was fabulous. Perfect for a larger group. There were also plenty of beach towels and amenities, and great AC throughout the house!.The house is in a great spot, 5 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute drive to the centre of town and was in a super safe area. I couldn't fault anything. A great stay! I would highly recommend. Thanks for having us.

Bec’s place was perfect for a family catch up. The house has plenty of space and the pool from the terrace was perfect to relax. The house was very well equipped with everything needed. Clean on arrival and comfy beds. Would definitely recommend to others and wouldn’t hesitate in rebooking with Bec if we headed back.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—just a short 7-minute walk to a grocery store and a great selection of restaurants, and only 2 minutes from the beautiful Four Mile Beach. The on-site restaurant was a convenient bonus. The highlight for our family was definitely the saltwater pool. Designed like a lagoon with sand, it was absolutely stunning, deep, and open late, making it a great spot for both kids and adults to enjoy. The entire area felt very safe and was incredibly walkable.
