We had a great time at Paul's place, private and peaceful. Watched the stars from the hot tub and sunset from divers rock (quick walk). The snorkeling around divers rock is fantastic at low tide, provided the ocean chill doesn't take you out too fast! The yurt was a really neat experience, well insulated and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at the Artists Retreat was lovely. The place was clean and in a great location. We all slept well in comfy beds. The kitchen was well equipped. And the outdoor area was amazing with a spectacular view off the huge deck complete with crickets chirping and deer grazing. Sooo peaceful

Susan's place on Cortes was so beautiful and fully stocked. it felt like the perfect cabin getaway!

Absolutely beautiful space! One major thing was it was sheer ice getting up to the cabin which is up quite the bank, so loading and unloading the cars was tricky, but everything else was absolutely perfect. The cozy hot tub that was private, the fully stocked kitchen that was a pleasure to cook in, loads of board-games, and the most stunning view and beautiful place we could have hoped for! Definitely a special spot, and we’ll always remember our stay!

What a wonderful rustic getaway! Beautiful location, perfect for exploring all the Hornby highlights. Loved walking around the farm and right onto the Mt Geoffrey Park trails. Barnplex felt very well built and cared for. We loved our timing with the patio under the grapevines surrounded by apple trees. Definitely recommend for those seeking a unique and affordable stay.

Pristine condition - very very clean throughout and very well stocked kitchen - Laurel has thought of everything! Super clear instructions, great communication throughout our stay. The sauna was a highlight after days of outdoor play and the robes were a very nice touch. Would definitely stay again!

Cabin ,island and people were the most peaceful we have ever encountered. A getaway beyond expectations

My wife and I had an amazing time spending our honeymoon here. The float house was super comfy. You can sit on the deck and watch the tide come in slowly. The people on the island are super kind. Be sure to check out the farmers market on Fridays to meet the locals. As well as all the road stands set up.

We really enjoyed our stay at Manda and Families cabin. We stayed at Zadas cabin. It was rustic which matched our expectation and fit the vibe of Cortes. Even though the host was off island during our stay his level of communication was above our expectation . He checked in several times and made it clear he was available if needed. He gave clear instructions through text. When I did talk to him on the phone he answered immediately was friendly kind and accommodating. I love having the beach nearby. I also liked the sound of the rooster and visits from the families pets. I also liked the little touches like the nice blue bowls to eat out of.

Had a great stay at Kim & George's cabin, was cozy and quiet, saw a wonderful moon from the cabin balcony on our 1st night there. Definetly would recommend to other travelers.

Great place to stay at! Johnathon was responsive. The location was great, arrive late, it was dark a little hard to find in the dark. Getting inside was easy. The place was clean and gave a warm cozy feeling! Enjoyed our stay very much, however the hunting was terrible!

A lovely cozy and quirky cabin full of character. Central location with easy access to roads for cycling to various beaches. Nothing on the island felt too far to. The use of the bikes was a great help getting about. Bike shop opposite was a bit of a mess but didn’t matter as we were either in the cabin, on the decking or exploring the island. Tim was super helpful with giving us the information we needed for the ferry and taxi and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

What a beautiful spot. Couldn’t ask for somewhere more peaceful, comfortable or private to enjoy some quality time in nature with family. Deborahs place is stunning and has everything you need to relax. Top tip : Bring eye patches to sleep if you are sensitive to light as it’s brilliantly bright from sunrise to sunset in both bedrooms ~ which of course maximizes on the incredible views and adds to the stylish look of the place. We will be back!

We had a great couple of nights at Kate's place. The views are stunning, and it was lovely to watch the sun go down each evening while eating our dinner. It was nice to have your own designated parking spot and the place is less than 5mins drive from the Quadra Island Ferry Terminal, you can also walk there in 15mins (although there is a hill so those who may not be comfortable with that should be aware). My only suggestion for those visiting is to bring an eye mask and ear plugs if you are a light sleeper like my wife (no blackout curtains and the rooster wakes you up early).

The cabin was as described. Short walk to beach and close to Lund with a great bakery and market. I have stayed twice now. Love how quiet and peaceful it is. Simone was a great host!!

We’ve been here twice, and it never disappoints. It’s a private, well decorated and furnished cottage with beautiful views, access to the beach, and a nice king sized bed where you can listen to the waves. Perfect for a romantic weekend away. Jane, the host, is consistently responsive and friendly. We plan to come back many more times.

it was only an overnight stay, but loved it. quiet area. awesome kitchen. very clean and even though my doggies didn't make it, they were welcome to stay. Sandi was very nice and helpful, greeting us and showing us in. Thanks for the great communication and stay

I mean where do you begin with the magic of this place! This family who made this cabin have their PHDs in detail and every little thing you could ever need or want. Hot outdoor shower to warm up after a January ocean swim, snacks and games by the fire in this GORGEOUS home. The light that dances through the white walls with all those incredible windows is its whole own show. A big beautiful deck on what feels like your own entire cove…..there is a also a smaller deck closer to the water for coffee and being closer to the wonder of where the cedars meet the sea….. brimming with life, this a a very special spot. We befriended 4 seals and named them, made up stories for them as they swam by and were curious and so so cute. French press coffee, every single kitchen tool, extras and flashlights and a games and book drawer. We did not turn on the TV at all. It was just too pretty of a place. Had our little portable speaker with tunes, pretty snack boards, drinks, fire going! 5 million stars

This is the 3rd year in a row that we have stayed here. It feels like home. The cottage is in the most beautiful location imaginable. Having our meals on the deck overlooking the ocean continued to amaze us day after day. It is be hard to find this combination of beauty, privacy, peace and value in any rental space. This is a rare find!

Patti & Corrine’s place was exactly what we were looking for. You have a wonderful view of the ocean through the trees. Though there are other houses around you, it felt very private. There cottage is surrounded by trees & open grass to walk around. Waking up & ending the day to the sounds of birds was beautiful. We even saw a fawn on the property. They do have two cats which we only saw once & they were very friendly. The beach is a 2 min walk down a quiet street. The cottage itself is my dream home. It’s simple but homey. We loved the personal decor & book selections about the area & wildlife. We slept with the windows open to let in the cool ocean air. In the mornings I stood in the living room watching the sunrise through the giant window. I could have moved into their cottage if it was allowed. It was perfect. Patti was also wonderful at giving suggestions of things to do & explaining the ins & outs of the cottage. I highly recommend staying here! You won’t regret it!
