House holiday rentals in Birkenfeld

Anis kindly lended her souterrain appartement to us. Surrounded by a beautiful garden/allotment that was taken care off by her father the place was a fine starting point to explore the saarbrucken region. He also dropped some tools in the garden so our daughter could play there, very kind gesture. Unfortunately the pool could not be used due to bad weather from prior days, but on the plus side the souterrain was nice and cool in the warm days. Well equiped kitchen and plenty of toys for toddlers. One thing to consider is the noise of the nearby road and the airplanes landing at the saarbrucken airport. All and all good value for money.

Super nice house with a beautiful backyard and views over the mountains. A restaurant like neighbors, how nice you want it! In the garden there is a fire pit with tripod (bbq grate). Convenient for the evenings when you need to prepare the food! ;) Shops end 5 - 15 minutes away. In addition, there is much to see and do in the Eifel. And all this within an hour's drive from the house. We had a super nice time here and recommend this house and the Eifel to everyone!

The communication with the Dahlke family was super nice and at check-in we got a tour of the pretty cottage with a good explanation of all technical equipment etc. The fresh rolls one morning were a very nice surprise. We liked to use the hot tub and sauna a lot. And the fireplace also makes it super nice and cozy. There would still be a little bit of room for cleanliness. But that's high standard whining. Overall, we enjoyed it very much and would love to come back. However, it should be noted that some things are outdated and some things certainly need to be renewed in the long run if the price-performance ratio is to fit further. But it's still a good fit at the moment.

Very nice apartment overlooking the Mosel. Wonderful area for hiking and cycling. Best was the cool pool after a hike.

Large house with a lot of turnaround, all amenities were available, large kitchen and enough bedrooms. Very clean. We enjoyed spending the holidays there very much. Very nice host.

The house is bright, welcoming and super clean. Location is awesome with lots of walking trails leaving from the house and easy access to town. Would definitely stay here again.

Heike's place is peaceful, spacious, and lovely. My family and I have visited a few times. There is a small castle ruin nearby, if you are looking for something easy and quick to visit.

Katharinas and Bram's place is very nice, very clean, nice and quiet and tastefully decorated. Communication was very, very good. It was nice that you could use the public transport in the area for free. We felt very comfortable. Thanks a bunch

We had a very nice week. It is a very large house with a very special design. There is plenty of storage space available. The large bathroom has a nice large bath and separately a good shower and extra toilet. The bedrooms for our adolescents were very nice made with the beds on an elevation. Maybe not so suitable for very small children. For these 2 rooms there is a private bathroom en suite with a shower and toilet. It is a great location for trips and hikes and to just laze around. Kirsten and Hans-Werner are top hosts where nothing is too much to ask. They respond very quickly and are very friendly. We felt completely at home here.

We had a great extended weekend at Conny & Michael's place. There were no wishes left unfulfilled and we felt at home. We will be happy to come back!

We had a nice stay at Michaela's place. The house was nicely cooked on arrival. Super clean and tidy. The contact with Michaela went very smoothly and we could contact her for questions. The beds were lovely and the house is very spacious and equipped with every comfort. The area is really beautiful. Within 200 meters you are in the middle of nature with beavers, deer and boars. We hiked extensively and enjoyed very much.

Alain's place is spacious, tranquil, and easy to get to. Alain was available to answer our questions before and during the stay. Very nice memory. Thank you

We were very happy with our stay in Fronhofen. We met with the extended family and had a great weekend! The former Kneippe is very cozy and so it is possible to have a great time together even in bad weather. The large kitchen makes it possible to cook for many guests. The rooms are very personal and authentically furnished. The rooms themselves are beautiful and cozy. It was great for us that dogs were allowed and a room was accessible. Moritz responded immediately to questions and was always helpful. We will be happy to come back. Thank You!

A small but cozy and clean cottage in the middle of a quiet village. We felt very comfortable and have enjoyed the tranquility. Really everything was present in the house! That was really great! Especially for a family. We did a lot and it was never too far away. Recommend!

Patrick was very friendly to take care of our well-being. He was also very easy to reach in his absence. There is everything you need to feel comfortable in the cozily furnished house. A large garden, a very nicely landscaped terrace that will definitely use next time in summer. The beds are cozy. The kitchen invites you to cook together. We were very happy to have met Patrick on departure.
