We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Driftwood Cottage. We arrived very early, but Wendy had made everything ready for us, and the x-mas decorations was so nice and welcoming. The house was nicely kept and lovely, and we even had some sunny days at the roof terrace. Wendy was very considered and ask us about our stay, and if we needed anything. We should have explored Birgu, the city on the other side of the harbour front, some more, it seemed like a really nice and cozy place. We felt at home from the first moment, we sat foot in Driftwood. And we would like to come back some day.

It was a fantastically beautiful stay at Jean Paul's house. The house is even more beautiful than in the pictures and you feel right at home there. Communication with Jean Paul was great. He was quick to respond and was also quick to help with any other questions. We were even allowed to check out later because our flight didn't start until the late afternoon. I can fully recommend the place and would book it again every time.

Great Airbnb and host. The house is as described, spacious, comfortable and has everything you need. It was easy to find a parking space nearby and the buses on the main road are very well connected. There are also shops and cafes nearby. Doreen is a great host, easy to communicate with and she was able to give us an early check-in which was great. I'd stay here again.

This place is a bit special. Fantastic location - just a few minutes' walk from centre of Valletta with tourist sites. Numerous bars/restaurants and food shops are a short walk away, as is the Sliema ferry. The 3 cities/Gozo ferries are not far either. Lovely old building with lots of character, original floor tiling, oval window and traditional enclosed balcony are great. Yes lots of steps but so worth it to get to the terrace, as you get a view over the water to Fort Manoel and the Lazaretto, as well as the two churches nearby. Andre was a perfect host, quick to respond, helpful and flexible. Bring earplugs as the road can be noisy, and bring repellent as Valletta generally had a lot of mosquitos. We had a wonderful time here, the house was the perfect base for exploring.

What a find! As soon as we saw the picture we knew this was the place for us and it did not disappoint. Location is perfect, quiet but plenty right on the doorstep. The house has been beautifully restored and has everything you need and more(included plenty of stairs to get your daily steps in). And Joe was the icing on the cake, super helpful, always in contact, great recommendations and flexible too. One of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in and it certainly made the holiday. Would stay again and recommend to others.

James is a great host. His place was very cozy, well-organized with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed for 5 days, but you can easily imagine living there comfortably for a month! We really felt like at home. I'd like to speak separately about the bed - it was very comfy. James also let us check in earlier and check out later, which was of great help to us.

It was a privilege to stay in Roderick's amazing beautifully restored 16th C house. The bathroom and kitchen are furnished to a high modern tasteful standard. The rest of the house is fully of wonderful antiques. It was mid winter when we went, so we didn't use the lovely court yard of roof space but they would be great for most of the year. We were met by Steve and shown around when we arrived. Later on we met Roderick. Both of them were charming hosts. The house is actually better than the photos!

Perfect place to hole up and rest for a week - and see the island and do yoga at the hot studio. Super friendly, bringing me milk for tea etc and ultra clean. It had EVERYTHING in needed to cater for myself if I didn’t fancy eating out. Spotless linen and towels, laundry facilities, hairdryer, microwave, kettle, hot shower. I felt safe as a lone female traveller. They left me alone to chill but I knew they were on hand if I needed anything. Great instructions too on arrival. Thank you Carl & Anna!

Marc's apartment is located in a comfortable and quiet area, the house is quiet, and you can easily walk to the center. You can also easily find parking nearby. The house is nice, bright and airy, clean with all the necessary appliances. Marc is very helpful and thoughtful, recommended.

The location of the house is super nice as it is located on a park overlooking the harbor, also the house is lovingly furnished well equipped and very clean. Communication with Lucia is very nice and very quick to respond to inquiries. We recommend the house and would book it again immediately.

We stayed in mid-January 2025 and from the moment we booked, our host went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed, including a ride to and from the airport, and local fruit and water bought for us before we arrived late in the evening. On our way back from the airport, we were given a wealth of amazing advice on where to visit in Winter and this followed through to the property where details on excursions had been left. The property is very central and really does look and feel like a 16th Century castle, exactly like the photos! The upstairs bedroom on a balcony was particularly luxurious, as was having a downstairs wet room if we needed it. Although the time of year made it chilly, the bed was very comfy, and the kitchen was perfectly stocked with all kitchen appliances we could ever want. Both bathrooms had all amenities we could ever ask for, and the host made it clear we could ask for absolutely anything we needed at any time, which really was lovely!

Martin’s house is located within Valletta city gate, which means the main attractions are all very close by. There are supermarkets and restaurants in the neighborhood so it is very easy to choose between dining out or cooking yourself. It is a house with full facilities so it feels very welcoming and like home. Martin also replies to our doubts and checked on our check-in process timely. Highly recommend this place!

Very nice Palazzo that is perfectly located. I could not imagine a better location to be honest. The communication was great as well and everything you need is available in this apartment. The only thing, and I believe this is everywhere in this old houses, is that there will be white powder in some corners which comes off from the beautiful white sandstone (if it is sandstone, not sure). Other than that, there is nothing but positive I can say about this apartment. We had a great time and would recommend. Yes, a bit on the pricy side but it is very large and worth it.

Great place and location, allowed us to drop our case at 2pm on NYE so we could crack on until ready! Great value for money!

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Josianne’s place. The spiral stair case is beautiful leading up and down to the 4 levels of the house. The top level has great views across the Harbor to Senglea. The bedroom is dark and comfy with a high quality mattress and comfy pillows. An extra blanket is available if needed but even in January we found the comforter and top sheet to be more than enough. Josianne kindly left a few snacks, fruits, and water for us upon arrival and there was an assortment of coffee and tea items too. Communication with her was great during the whole stay. There’s a great restaurant a few meters away called Del Borgo with an excellent wine list and great Maltese food. Check it out.

Dears, Bernard's place is absolute gem in terms of the facilities. Had everything appliances you need for a short/long term stay. The terrace is a bonus for sure. The place was spotless clean with extra linens as well. A washing machine on the terrace is useful for long term stays. Last but not the least, Bernard is one of those rare hosts to be so kind and helpful. He would do everything he can to ensure a good stay. Indeed a super duper host!!! My best wishes for him.

Derek greeted us, and we had a nice chat before he showed us his unit. He was responsive and quickly fixed the one small issue I encountered. The rooftop terrace is a great place to begin and end your day. Derek has lovingly restored this unit and has every right to be proud. Take a walking tour of Ir-Rabat and Mdina, then come back to air conditioning and the relaxing terrace. I recommend Derek’s oasis.

Excellent stay in Malta, partly thanks to all the tips and exchanges with David who was able to welcome us in the best way. The accommodation is ideal for visiting the island, close to public transport.

The house is very spacious, clean and comfortable and the view from the roof is amazing. It could be a little chilly in the winter evenings but there are heaters, blankets etc. The location is perfect for exploring Valetta and surroundings. The ferry is five minutes away - you can see the house from the ferry terminal - and it's a lovely 5 minute journey across the harbour to Valetta. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance and we also found a convenience store. The neighbourhood is pleasant and quiet- although we were there in the winter. You can also easily walk to the historic neighbourhoods of Birgu and Senglea.
