Romantic waterfall Cabin,Tranquil Brecon Beacons

LynRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Absolutely gorgeous little cabin that has everything you could need for a few days escape from it all. Gorgeous cozy wood burner plus a large radiator and towel heater to keep the cabin snug even in minus temperatures outside. Added additional comfort of blankets, hot water bottles and beautifully elegant bed linen teamed with an exceptionally cozy bed. Tv and internet giving the additional facility. Welcome breakfast and lots of lovely foodie gifts stocked for your convenience was a lovely treat. Jacqueline is the perfect host. Warm, friendly and very helpful with lots of local knowledge and suggestions. The local pub 2 mins walk away was great for food and a warm welcome. The Bridge Waterfall is amazing and river and canal walks are right on your doorstep. Conveniently located for exploring by car to various nice market towns. The drive up across the Brecons gives amazing views of the hills, valley’s and beautiful rivers/streams weaving through them. We highly recommend the cabin

Milson Cottage -nr Ludlow. A Home with a View

ElenaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This cottage is a little slice of heaven in the middle of the Shropshire countryside. None of the pictures do justice to the beautifully presented cottage. Victoria gave us some helpful instructions on how to get there and even though it is quite remote, it was easy to find. When we go it, Victoria had lit a fire for us and the cottage immediately felt cosy and like coming home. It is beautifully kep, decorated and really well equipped. The Aga was amazing and so convenient as well as keeping the cottage nice and warm. We had everything we needed to cook, make coffee and use. The bedroom has beautiful views, is enormous, and the bed is larger than life and so comfortable. We had a great night's sleep every night. The location is wonderful if what you want is beautiful views, access to country walks and the chance of stargazing on clear nights. Victoria was also super accommodating with our dog and he loved every second. We would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much

Rectory Cottage - Luxury Gloucestershire Retreat

MarcusRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Kirsty’s home was wonderful and just what we were hoping for when booking a few days away with our dog Stan.. we were kept well informed on the instructions for finding the house and how to check in etc… very easy! We were welcomed with a home baked lemon cake, eggs, apple juice and a lovely welcome card.. Kirsty’s home is ideal to explore the local area and we spent several days in the Forest of Dean enjoying the wonderful trails with our dog.. we had planned on eating out in some of the local pubs and restaurants Kirsty recommended but we were so tired each night we opted for a cosy night in each time which allowed us to take full advantage of the wonderful local comforts of her house.. we will definitely look to rebook and would highly recommend Kirsty’s Airbnb for anyone looking to stay in this area..

Unreal getaway. You must stay here ! The picture of this place doesn’t do it enough justice. Very peaceful with beautiful views and you even get to experience beautifully looked after donkeys come up to you where you can feed them! (BRING CARROTS, they love them) 😂 honestly a magical stay with your partner.

Lodge Spa sauna, hot tub, fire pit & log burners.

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I stayed here with my family for a pre Christmas trip with our dogs. There was 6 adults and 3 dogs and we had enough space to all sit comfortably around the table and enjoy quality time in the living room and bar area, but also the bedrooms were perfectly large enough and spaced out that if you wanted some personal space you could go off and get some time on your own. Each bedroom had its own bathroom as well which is perfect for the mornings as no queuing for the shower! The house is beautiful and the photos don’t do it justice! Beautifully decorated and very cosy and homey! We didn’t want to leave ! The only thing to mention is we arrived late in the afternoon when it was dark, and it was a little hard to find in the dark down a one track lane which is very bumpy! Michelle was an amazing host so helpful, responsive and proactive. And the little touches like a dog goodie bag, and some mince pies to welcome use was very cute. You couldn’t have a better host! Would definitely stay again

Mill Cott, Llangynidr Book now for winter discount

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a beautiful stay at this cottage over Christmas! We loved the interior, they had all the amenities possibly needed for self catering. They even went that extra mile and left us a christmas card and mince pies which made us smile! Bed was super comfortable, surroundings are lovely and easy to get to. We loved the fact there is a river right outside the kitchen window, which added to the atmosphere. Hosts were very responsive and gave us recommendations of nearby places! This really did feel like a home away from home, very cosy, very comfortable!!

The Annexe at Harvest House

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Hayley’s annex was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very cosy. She was a welcoming host and it was a great little bonus to meet her friendly dogs and chickens, as well as making breakfast with the fresh eggs. Our only issue was with finding the location, as the address was for the road into Cutnall Green. Unfortunately we were turned the wrong direction down the road because of this and ended up very lost down dark and flooded roads. It wasn’t much issue though as the rest of our stay was very warm and more than made up for it.

Stunning views and walks from the door

BrettRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay here over New Year. It’s a lovely cottage in a beautiful, quiet spot with great views. Paths onto the Long Mynd are almost on the doorstep, while Church Stretton, with some great places to eat and drink, is about half an hour’s walk away – there’s also a nice pub at the bottom of the lane. The kitchen is clean and well-equipped for cooking and the bed is large and very comfortable. Upstairs is more spacious than it looks in the photos. The shower is excellent. When we stayed the weather was bitterly cold but we were nice and toasty indoors. Despite being an annex, it felt very private, though Mary and Mark are responsive and on hand if needed. Overall, we can wholeheartedly recommend The Pottery and hope to visit again soon.

Black Darren hut . Located in llanveynoe.stunning.

ThomasRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
I loved staying here! It was so homely. Had everything you need, to salt, pepper and milk, towels to a few games to keep you entertained. Easy check in and was lovely for Andy to check in on us. Lovely guy! Hot tub was a 10/10. Shower was amazing and the whole set up of the hut was perfect. Wasn’t too crammed and still felt spacious enough for 4 of us. Gutted we didn’t get to use the fire pit due to a lovely NYE storm. I think the hut was value for money and they have lots of lovely touches to make too feel comfy. Loved being away from the hustle and bustle with beautiful views and spaces to walk/climb. Very responsive with any messages and reassuring when my son was worried about the strong winds. Also highly grateful they’re sending my daughter’s blanket back we left. Would love to come back at some point! Have no complaints. Clean, homely, warm, well equipped and felt we had our own privacy also. Thank you both! From Tiff, Tom, Mason and Eva x

Comfortable Village House with Hot Tub & BBQ Area

KaneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Dawn was incredibly communicative and kind from the very start. I booked for my girlfriend's 30th birthday and everything was perfect. The attention to detail at the place was beautiful and it was amazing to hear of how it was Dawn's lockdown project, which she built herself. I had a special request to see if we could have some other family come for drinks one night after the birthday dinner and Dawn was very obliging, even giving us an extra table from her own home. Couldn't recommend Dawn's place enough - it's stunning and the hot tub was superb!

Large family farmhouse, with stunning rural views.

StephenRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a perfect new year stay in Shirley's accommodation! The pictures on the listing do not do this place justice! There is so much room it is easy to fit 10 people and not be stepping on each others toes all the time. The instructions to get there and local information was extremely clear and useful. Shirley came to greet us and check we had settled in ok and if we needed any help. She was so friendly and helpful! When the WiFi went down (absolute disaster for the kids!), Shirley responded very quickly and rectified the problem immediately - thanks! The house is in a wonderful rural location to enjoy morning sunrises and close enough to Worcester to be able to easily visit and gather resources. There are so many walks which can easily be done from the house, we couldn't choose which to go on though the weather put paid to our grand plans. Such a great place and location and definitely would recommend for larger groups looking for this kind of accommodation.

Comfort & tranquility off the beaten track

JaneRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had the most lovely holiday at King Grove. The spotless cottage was very welcoming to walk into, full of polished wood, ornaments and pictures with a teapot, milk and biscuits all ready for us after a long journey. There is a great wood burning stove, comfortable sofas, cosy beds, and absolute peace and quiet. We slept so well! There was everything we could need in the cottage, including information on walks and a tempting collection of intriguing books. King Grove is set in a beautiful hidden valley in a wider area of stunning Shropshire landscape. We spent our days walking and visiting castles! Leena and Geoff live next door and they have designed their wonderful garden so that guests have plenty of private seating areas. They are very friendly and easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to return.
