Really enjoyed our weekend away, great communication from the start. Quite and quirky cottage, so peaceful even though it's on a road, this wasn't a problem for us.. The hot tub was amazing.. A great extra to the weekend...☺️☺️

What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Helena was flexible and great at communicating with kindness when we took a wrong turn and got stuck in mud. The cottage is beautiful and somehow spacious. The kitchen and bathroom have everything needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed looking at the stars from the hot tub. Highly recommend this cottage.

absolutely stunning. took my mum and older kids for a family weekend for a Christmas present. the cottage is cosy and just so cute. it has something for everyone my son's watched sky movies in the open plan kitchen.I drunk wine with mum in the beautiful cottage lounge and relaxed. we all enjoyed the hot tub and views. cooked in the well equipped kitchen and ate in the conservatory. The bath was a absolute perfect end to the day before falling in to a very comfortable bed. in my room I had sky TV so everyone had enough space if needed. it's a absolutely hidden gem and very private with stunning views and well kept garden. tenterden is only 10 mins drive where there's restaurants, pubs and a large tesco. the cottage is so perfect we didn't need to go out and seek things to do. if I could rate this beautiful air BNB I would give it 6 out of five but I can only give it five out five . thankyou so much for sharing your beautiful home 🙏🏻❤️

A little piece of heaven. We arrived to the warmest of welcomes from Peter who was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The cottage is beautiful with lovely views of the countryside and sea in the distance The hot tub was pristine and at a perfect temperature and a joy to sit in even in the rain looking at the stars. The pool was a lovely bonus and we enjoyed using it several times. It is big enough to have an enjoyable seim and a good temperature . Having sole use is a rare commodity. We have already booked to come back and can’t thank Peter and family enough.

A very short but restful, and very needed stay. Will be booking again for a longer stay in the future. Perfect for just getting away from all the stresses of life. Thank you.

Lovely and cosy, perfect for a weekend away with friends.

We had an amazing stay. We were there for a quick 3 day trip from the states to visit family in billingshurst. It was absolutely perfect for us as a family with a small toddler. The location was ideal for seeing the family and the parking was incredibly convenient! I honestly think it was even cuter in person than in the photos. We will definitely stay again for our next visit!

Lovely stay in beautiful countryside property. Great for dog walking and sight seeing. Host was very helpful & provided clear instructions to find the location. No issues whatsoever.

Thoroughly enjoyed our few days away here. Felt very homely. Very generous with the provisions she had left for us. Kept in touch to make sure we were ok. Very friendly Labrador came to say hello. Brilliant base for Ashdown Forest, one of my favourite places. Will definitely be back!

Really gorgeous place, down a path off the road. A little hard to find but Lynda's directions were spot on. I parked on The Broadway which was easy to get to the lane and cottage. Super warm and cosy, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed was like a cloud and the secure front garden was great to let me dog out and sniff about safely! Will be back!

Beautiful English cottage! Would absolutely stay again. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The sofas are comfortable. Cosy fire. Kitchen was fully stocked for coffees and hot chocolates. Some welcome nibbles, wine and milk was a beautiful touch. And fabulous Greek restaurant right next door.

We would like to say a big thank you. We had a fantastic weekend stay at this property. The garden was 100% safe for our dog and we found it nice and quiet, surrounded by nature and orchards. Mark had left lots of leaflets showing what's going on in the area, and was very kind to recommend places to visit and eat/drink. The accommodation was designed and decorated with alot of thought and attention to detail, to establish a very comfortable stay. We will certainly be visiting again.

Had a great stay at Dani’s cottage, a great location, a short walk to the beach, the local pub and shop. Also for those who do not drive, the property is located a 5 minute walk from the bus stop to Rye station. The house was lovely and well looked after, had everything you would need to feel right at home. Highly recommend and will definitely return 😊

surrey hills is an amazing area. great for seansoned hikers and also gentle amblers. the cottage felt very rural and quiet and lovely grounds. it was perfect for what i needed, to "get away" from general hubbub of life. the walking is out of this world. and the views from the hills are vast. would love to return to this cottage in full blown spring. would be another lever.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Marion was incredibly accommodating & warmly welcomed us on our arrival . The cottage was perfectly positioned and Marion had gone out of her way to make us feel at home- especially with our toddler . Plenty of toys and baby equipment which was greatly appreciated. We loved the gorgeous courtyard and had a lovely stroll to the nearby cafe which was a great way to spend a morning with playground and great coffee! A wonderful trip and one we would love to come back to! Thank you

Excellent accommodation. Warm and very comfortable - although we were too warm on arrival, we were grateful for the heating when the temperature dropped! Excellent facilities. We chose this property as we wanted to attend a couple of events nearby but there is also lots to do - visit Brighton, walk along the coast & National Trust properties. Jane’s directions were very helpful and she ensured we were settled and happy with everything. Thanks for your hospitality - we will return!

Fischer’s cottage is a wonderfully tranquil getaway in a beautiful part of Kent. The cottage was very comfortable, with everything we needed in the kitchen and a magnificent wood burning stove in the living room to keep us cosy on a slightly chilly Summer evening. The garden was a delight and allowed our two-year old daughter a great space to play. We even made use of the BBQ and outdoor wood-burning stove. D was so helpful with directions, recommendations of where to visit and which pubs and restaurants to eat at. We would certainly come back again.

Just returned from a lovely stay in this barn. Beautiful location despite all the rain and wind, still managed to get out and see some local places. Very comfortable accommodation, immaculately clean and a great host, would highly recommend if visiting this area

We stayed at Lavender Cottage for a month whilst we were having building works undertaken. The cottage was perfect for us, together with our dog Ruby. We had very comfortable beds, powerful showers, a well equipped kitchen and access to great gardens and walks in the village. Lieven and Lydia were lovely hosts and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the house to others.

Absolutely gorgeous! Very quiet. Fully equipped kitchen with pretty much everything that you might need. Having good shower pressure is important to me and I loved the shower! The water pressure was fantastic! Would recommend this rental
