Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Big Sur

My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary at the Coastal Retreat. Kerrie and Greg were very helpful during our stay and were very prompt in answering any questions we had. We will def be planning another stay at their place, so we can finish the missing parts of our Big Sur tour.

This was our third stay at the Blue Whale Bungalow, and it remains our favorite place to stay in Rio del Mar! Mariam is a wonderful and generous host who immediately remembered our family and welcomed our two dogs. The Blue Whale Bungalow is clean and cozy, with everything you need to enjoy the beach or relax indoors. It is located just two blocks from the beach, where you can enjoy the ocean breeze, search for sea glass, and admire the beautiful sunsets. We look forward to visiting the Blue Whale Bungalow very soon!

Such a lovely, homey airbnb. The kitchen was better equipped than my own, including sharp knives. We loved hanging out on the sunporch and outside on the beautiful grounds. A real bargain in SLO.

Loved the place! The decor in house is 10stars. Kitchen is perfect. Loved the old fashion beautiful stove. Jacuzzi was very relaxing. House is very comfortable. Loved the size of the beds. Amenities were great in bathroom and kitchen. Loved the light sconsas & chandelier in dinning & living room. The recharging pads in bedrooms. 👍👍👍 Location was great !

It has become a tradition for us to go here once per year. There is room for 3 siblings and their spouses. The wives like the thought-out kitchen and it is easy to work in. There are enough televisions for everyone. Pool, darts in the garage and more activities in the back yard (mini-bocce, corn hole and a covered patio table). The neighborhood is nice to walk through. There is a trail by an intermittent stream 1/2 mile away.

House was spacious and very clean. Looks exactly like the photos. Less than 10 minutes from downtown shops/bars/restaurants and within 20-25 minutes from all the wineries we visited. Right down the road from the Sensorio exhibition as well. Our group had a great time and I would recommend staying here.

Easily one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve had over the years, with its many thoughtful extras, modern updates that added to the fun and being stocked with everything we could want and more! My kids especially loved the hot tub, fire pit, toys and hillside view. My husband and I enjoyed all these and the espresso machine!! The location was perfect for us being very near all of the 5 cities but more peaceful than the touristy areas. Thank you Julie and John for a wonderful stay.

This little apartment was great . Very clean . Although the upstairs guests were very loud nonstop , the host was definitely compassionate and understanding. I definitely would stay again !!!

We loved our stay here! The apartment feels like a house, with plenty of room and a layout that ensures comfort, quiet and privacy. Easy walk to the beach. Hosts provided lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The area is great for walking and hiking. I would highly recommend choosing John’s place as a hub for Central Coast visits.

Totally worth every penny. 2.5 baths were very helpful for 6 people. Neat rooms. Very organized. Laundry pods dishwasher pods were also provided. Very thoughtful of what is needed. Made us want to return to airbnb after a tiring day. I think that is all you need when you are away from home.

Great place to stay in Palo Alto!

We enjoyed our stay here in clean, very comfortable accomodations. Though the weather was not great, we appreciated the convenient location. Great restaurants were a short drive away.

The space is really comfortable. the location is excellent. we absolutely loved our stay in downtown. walking distance to so many things!

This is one of the most beautiful properties you could ever stay at. Peaceful, serene, and beautifully maintained. It is two thousand feet up and the views are spectacular. The hosts were very responsive and proactive and made me feel right at home and are the most kind people that has ever hosted me. I have found my new place to stay when working in San Jose.

We had a great trip and would highly recommend this unit. Everything was very clean and the unit matched the description. We loved how close this is to the beach and plenty of other things to do in the area. We also liked how the unit and its entrance are private and removed from the main road. This unit was a perfect home base for us during our trip to Half Moon Bay.

This was the cleanest AirBnB we've ever stayed in! Pristine! Tidy! Stunning ocean views from both the living room & primary bedroom. The entire villa has been remodeled yet still has the Old World Charm and coziness. This Villa is located on the 2nd floor of North Bluff - is very private - has a pool jacuzzi just steps away. The resort offers many amenities, restaurant, bar, room service (or pick up) massage, sauna - endless. Aptos Village is right across the street - walking distance offering many shops, market and a great place for pizza and Italian food. We will definitely stay with Sue again - as soon as we can! Next time, we'll try her other property #33. Sue is a GREAT hostess in every area and has earned Super Host many times over!

Loved this place! Right by Capitola wharf so it was super easy to walk downtown for dinner and shopping. The apartment was bigger than I expected, super clean, and had everything we needed. Jennifer was very helpful and got back to us right away when we had questions. Definitely staying here again next time we visit!

Staying at Seascape was the perfect kid-friendly vacation. The pool was easy to access from our condo and the views were beautiful. The condo's set-up with two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs was great for our family of 5. The private beach was beautiful - we saw otters, whales, and my son found two perfect sand dollars walking down the beach. It was a little bit of a trek to get down to the beach with three little kids and all the beach gear, but once we were there no one wanted to leave. Several near-by restaurants were delicious, especially the newly opened Dos Pescados. It was fairly easy to get into Santa Cruz too, but we did have to time traffic or it would double the drive time (to almost 45 minutes).

We liked this place so much that we returned for the second year for our winter getaway. The space is ample for a couple and the furnishings very comfortable. There are restaurants and coffee shops in easy walking distance and the beach is also just two blocks away. Aaron is always ready to help

Beautiful little place, with picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean and natural landscaping. Clean, comfortable and easy access. Lots of security that patrolled day and night, which is nice. Fine dining restaurant is within walking distance.

Beautiful sunsets from the deck and relaxing times in the hot tub. The house is warm and comfortable and this is our second time returning. Beach is a lovely walk away and so fun to also drive your car on the beach if you choose. Wonderful restaurants nearby and easy access to all we wanted to do in SLO. Thanks for a wonderful birthday weekend!

Great location in Aptos in quiet neighborhood with short walk to beach & shops/ restaurants- for summer with kids, pool conveniently nearby/ visible from front patio-perfect 3 br 2 1/2 ba set up for our group - thank you for having kitchen stocked with little things- esp coffee/tea-Roberta was quick to respond/ communicate - arrival/ departure super easy- highly recommend!

This place is such a gem that I’m inclined to be selfish and not tell everyone about it! Modern appliances, close to grocery and mass department, clean and recently renovated. Very happy and will book this again!!
