Holiday rentals with lake access in Bermuda

What a beautiful house ! Views of the amazing blue green water could not be emphasized enough. Though the weather for us was not the best, we still managed to swim in the beautiful bay , kayak and snorkel as well. Luxury of a five star resort with the bonus of having a house for our family to spread out. This was particularly beneficial on the rainy days so that everyone had plenty of space to do some reading and relax. Having a kitchen, particularly in Bermuda, where the restaurants are super expensive , is an advantage; nice to be able to have breakfast and lunch home and then out for a nice dinner. The mattress and the linens were extremely comfortable and pristinely clean. Access to the water on property was easy for us, but would not be great for very young children or grandparents; that being said the shallow gorgeous beach was very close to walk to as an alternative, and short drive to our favorite spot in Bermuda - Copper Reserve. Look forward to returning !

Susan is an incredible host. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She did us a lot of favors including taking us to the grocery store, giving us a cup of milk and also a spare toothbrush! Her home is gorgeous and we hope to be back soon

This AirBnB was a slice of Bermuda paradise in Sandys Parish. The house is perched on a small outcropping that offers water access to the east (sunrise) and the west (sunset). The covered porch and swimming acesss on both sides were the best features of this lovely private home. We truly felt relaxed upon arrival and purposely spent time in and around the home because of the setting and accommodations. Sandys Parish is the western end of Bermuda. As such - it really helps to know the local spots so that you aren’t traveling all over the island for the touristy ones. In particular, the hosts recommendations for Woodys, Long Bay Beach, the next door ferry and use of marketplace/takeout made our time as a family of 4 more memorable. We did go further afoot on a few of the days - and Arthur (recommended taxi) is a gem and Bemudaful ambasssdor. Finally - the hosts Mark and Kate are outstanding. We came just days after Hurricane Ernesto and they made the trip perfect despite that.

Have stayed at this lovely place for several years now our our annual vacation to Bermuda. Cornell is always super responsive and helpful as an amazing host, and the place is beautiful as advertised.

Beautiful house, very comfortable beds, great towels, decently stocked kitchen, excellent coffee maker, lots of little extras. We appreciated the excellent WiFi throughout the home. We were grateful for the beach equipment and borrowed snorkels and masks. No time to try the kayaks but loved that they were offered. Swimming right off the house was lovely. Sunrise was gorgeous each morning. Colin was a great host — he checked in during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed.

This is a bright, cheerful, and spacious unit with a beautiful view. Four of us stayed comfortably for ten days. Cornell was an exceptional host and went out of his way to accommodate us when we had a family issue arise. His son, Cameron, was also warm and helpful. While it is a little bit of a run into Hamilton or the beaches further down the south shore, we enjoyed eating at the Village pantry close by in Flatts Village and being able to easily hop over to John Smith’s Bay, as well as swimming off the dock a few times. The unit below was only occupied for part of our time, but we generally felt quite private. Very satisfied with our stay here.

I cannot say enough positive things about Wayne and his lovely poolside unit. The views of Harrington Sound were absolutely spectacular. The pool was refreshing. The environment was serene. This was my first Airbnb experience and this property exceeded my expectations. Wayne was very responsive throughout the process and during my stay. The unit was immaculate, well-maintained, and well lit. The location of the unit cannot be beat. Public transportation, grocery stores, and Shelly Bay were easily accessed. Thank you Wayne for your hospitality and I hope to visit again next year.

I chose to travel to Bermuda in the 'winter' season (although as a Canadian, this is more like mid-spring/early fall back home and loved it haha). I decided on James/Cheryl's place so I could enjoy the East side of the Island before moving along AND I cannot state enough how great and chill the vibe was in the area. And James/Cheryl as hosts embody the same vibe of the Parish! Incredibly accommodating, approachable and just terrific hosts. James told me of other spots He/Cheryl have in the Parish - including my space (traveling solo), to a bigger space on the property - as well as a spot on the water (ideal for warmer months). Me and/or My Family will certainly be checking availability with James/Cheryl's spaces when we make our way back to this beautiful, quaint Island. Cheers, Everett (Craig)

Dan and Michelle were wonderful hosts and their Airbnb is lovely. The location - by bays, beaches, and national park - was ideal for a nature lover like me. The stay nurtured my body and spirit. Thank you!!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Wayne’s place. The apartment is well separated in a quiet neighbourhood about a 10 minute somewhat uphill walk from the main road. Buses are easy to catch and the supermarket is at the corner. Wayne is always trying to provide the best experience for his guests. Use the Shorelink app for bus tickets (super easy) and don’t be afraid to try out Wayne’s kayaks (a single and tandem sit upon) as the Sound has extremely clear water and can be very calm at times. We loved it here - especially sitting outside on the porch watching the sun rise while listening to the kiskadees and other birds singing. Peaceful and relaxing!

We had such an amazing stay at the Narrow Escape! Definitely worth the visit. The property is gorgeous and meticulously maintained. The pool was refreshing and such a nice luxury to have just steps from our door. We spent lots of time in the swings overlooking the bay. It was such a peaceful stay! We loved meeting Karma, Mikes dog, as well! Thank you Mike! We can’t wait to come back!
