We can't praise Majsa and her lovely apartment highly enough. The apartment was spotless and exactly as described. Majsa was a super host, always prompt, friendly and full of help and recommendations.

Excellent apartment, great location. This is our 2nd time staying here and will be back again. Diwa was excellent host, asked her to recommend a taxi firm and she had a taxi arranged to pick us up next morning, can’t beat service like that.

Small nice apartment that we found clean, centrally located, yet quiet . Comfortable beds, bathroom mini but it is completely sufficient . We will be happy to come back. Sandra

The location is absolutely beautiful, the apartment was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed to feel at home. It is just one step away from the beach which made it perfect for a get-away! Highly recommended!

Beautiful spacious room in a 16th century cottage. Well and modernly furnished with good heating and air conditioning. The cottage is cleverly arranged with a nice small bathroom with toilet. Supermarket, garage parking (€15/24h), restaurants and city center all within a 10 minute walk. Akke is a warm friendly host with a good story. She will show you around and make you feel welcome. If she can't open, you can also enter the cottage independently with a code. In short, great location for a good price on the edge of the historic city center of Alkmaar.

Best Airbnb ever. Peaceful enough for me to write 450 pages and finish my book. Was heavenly.

My husband and I felt very comfortable in the apartment "Eb". It's all as described in the photos and in the ad. Judith is always available and responds very flexibly to concerns. The apartment is so centrally located and yet quite quiet! 2 minutes to the pedestrian zone and 3 minutes to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped and the small seating area in front of the apartment is very great. We didn't want to go home anymore and will definitely be back.

I can only describe this in lace as the best decision I’ve ever made. From the very beginning the combination with the hosts were impeccable . The apartment is beautifully designed , comfortable , exceptionally clean and though only footsteps to the centre of beautiful quaint Alkmaar it was very quiet . The recommendations we received were fantastic, public transport to the centre of Amsterdam nearby. I’m besotted and would in the future consider this again as my base to visit the Netherlands . We dare more than happy with the space. There were two of us there and it was perfect, with sea views in a beautifully decorated apartment. We lacked nothing! We will be happy to come back and highly recommend it. Thanks to Derek and his wife for the great hospitality!

Because we enjoyed it so much the first time, we went to "De Nollen" again for a weekend. Everything was fine again and Elvira is a friendly, yet unobtrusive and yet very helpful hostess. The location is nice for trips to the beautiful surroundings. We would vacation here again at any time.

Alexandra was super nice and accommodating. Communication was super quick and friendly. The bathroom was super clean and very modern. The bed was very comfortable, the bedding smelled super pleasant. It was almost hotel character. The kitchen is fully satisfactorily equipped, there was nothing missing and everything worked perfectly. The underfloor heating works perfectly and was very comfortable for the cool autumn days with toddler (15 months). The location of the apartment is super central, but still quiet. We will be happy to come back. Thanks for the wonderful stay. Extraordinary praise: shortly after checkout, Alexandra called me as we forgot something. It will be sent to us by post.

We had a lovely stay. Directly across the street you can walk in the dunes. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. And you can rent bikes at a fair price.

Top hosts. He gave us a lot of tips for the area and was very warm. The jacuzzi was of course the best! We'll be happy to come back. 😊

Great place, right above the horse stable. Sometimes you could snort and hear the two horses. That was very nice. Accommodation clean and everything you need.
