Holiday houses in Benalla Rural City

Jan was a fantastic host! She greeted us with a warm welcome and some helpful instructions. We also admired her lovely garden with a lovely variety of produces. The cabin itself was perfect for the four of us. All appliances in the kitchen worked perfectly which made cooking every night that much easier. Our beds were also one of the most comfortable ones among all the Airbnb stays we had. The unobstructed view of the meadow outside our cabin was simply gorgeous. Seeing all kinds of animals like cows, kangaroos and horses up close were the highlight for us city folks. Overall we can’t fault our stay and will recommend to anyone who loves a change of scene and a quiet and peaceful stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property! The surroundings were absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views that made our visit truly special. Mr. Miles was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring we felt welcome throughout our stay. The pool was a great addition, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time there. One of the highlights was Dexter, the adorable and grown-up dog—we loved playing with him! Additionally, the location was perfect for stargazing. The clear night skies provided an incredible view of the stars, making our evenings even more magical. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we would definitely love to visit again!

Dunmore Farm is a complete gem! From the moment we got there Bec and Angus were very welcoming. Perfect place for our little family to work remotely and to take time to relax and recharge. The kids had the best time riding their bikes, patting the dogs and checking out the chickens everyday. The house in itself has so much character and very comfortable inside and out. Thank you for creating such a beautiful place and letting us enjoy it.

The property was stunning, a beautiful home on a beautiful farm with cows and free range chickens. Kids and I loved hunting for the chicken eggs each day and the swimming pool was amazing in the dry country heat! Sue provided detailed instructions to find the property which I was grateful for Google maps would’ve added 20 mins onto the already long trip if I didn’t have Sue’s directions guiding me!

Secluded, private. Literally in the middle of a huge farm and surrounded by pastures and sheep as far as the eye can see. Beautiful sunset/sunrise and star gazing. Cottage is extremely rustic, so city dwellers might not appreciate it. We are in the country. There are bugs that occasionally make their way inside. There is wildlife outside. There is no TV as advertised. There are no door locks which can feel strange but you are protected by lots of open farmland and you have to drive past the main property to get to the Cottage. It is secure. Hot showers, functional kitchen, soft bed, electricity… nothing to do but put up your feet, stare off at nature and RELAX. It was warm and draft-free inside. You have your own (farm) fenced off huge yard for your dog to enjoy. Small thin dogs may make it through the gaps though. My dog loved running around the yard. Our host was extremely lovely and great at replies. Would go again :)

Fab 2 night stay for 2 couples. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Very convenient to have full kitchen and bbq area. Split system for heating and gas log fire in bathroom was a luxury!

We really enjoyed our time. It's private and peaceful at the back of the property (seperate driveway) and well located to nearby towns. The cottage is really comfortable and great value for money. Highly recommend also if you're keen on fishing and taking the boat out to Nillahcootie.
