Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bellingen Shire Council

It was perfect for a short term stay. The eggs, bacon and homemade bread was a warm welcome. The views are stunning and we enjoyed a lovely fire in the evening. Thoroughly recommend!

Brown Dog Barn was an amazing place to stay! Beautifully finished and decorated inside to meet the natural beauty outside. From breakfast beneath the grapevines to a bath under the stars, the barn has everything for an awesome time away. Andy and Megan were lovely to meet and very thoughtful & responsive with planning, messaging and home-made goodies. Thanks again - can’t wait to come back!

Dear Ann (and Chris), thank you for hosting our large family. We felt right at home the moment we parked out front and you came to greet us despite the late hour. Thank you for sharing your beautiful and very loved home, stories and animals with us during our stay. You had everything in the house to make our stay comfortable and your recommendations were great. The family was all praises too. The glorious sunlight from the large windows, birdsong, Lara and Cash instantly put a smile on my face and I was in a happy place. Our boys especially loved your place and insisted I write you their message, "Hi, I am Shveta's son and I am 11 years old. I went to Valla Beach's top spot and to be honest I was really surprised at how well kept the house was. The house was huge and Ann (the owner of the house) was hospitable to me and my brother. Honestly, this was my best farm stay I'd ever gone to, and I have been to quite a few. Please stay at Ann's house. It is the best". We will be back :-)

Lovely place to stay. Lots of quirky displays! Power point near under cover carpark was very handy for our EV charger (we asked host first if it was ok to use it). Lots of wildlife and animals noises along with bird life and possums. I liked it but if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs or get used to being amongst nature. Comfy bed. Spacious living areas. Camp creative a very short drive away. Most enjoable stay!

Wow, Jayne and Jodie’s cabin is even more beautiful than the photos. My partner and I stayed one night and wished it was a week. The outdoor bathtub, hammock, and surrounding forest make it the most relaxing place to stay. Jayne has thought of so many small touches too! We can’t wait to be back for longer.

Thank you, Chris, for our stay in your comfortable and well set-up cabin. It had everything we were looking for in a peaceful and beautiful setting. We also enjoyed visiting the nearby Dorrigo national park.

Our favourite Airbnb so far! Total privacy in what felt like a world away from the city - it is such a stunning setting. We spent the days out on the grass, ending with a fire outside under the stars - the sound of the birds, cicadas and wind in the trees was pure bliss. The cottage is lovely and you feel right at home, comfy bed, sheets and towels, with soft rainwater to shower under - amazing! Doggo had the BEST time too, even toys for him to play with! Make sure to have a cuppa on the hammock looking up to the trees. Thank you Chantelle, you have a truely special place and we are so grateful for our time there - we will be back!

The place was a good getaway from the busy hustle of city life. Peta is an extremely good hearted person and I would want to book the place again, because of her and the vibes that this place had. We checked in late, and my family was sad that we couldn’t spend much time in the property, as anyone can spend two to three days in there easily. Peta is extremely responsive and has maintained the place flawlessly. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Thanks Peta, for such a warm and cozy stay.

We really enjoyed our weekend in Mt Browne cottage. The location was just beautiful and very peaceful. Close to Coffs but nestled away in the rainforest so a world away. Lovely drives to access with some cute little townships close by. A great option for guests with dogs as they were well catered for with a big area to run and explore in at the front of the cottage while there was a small secure area available at rear to contain them when needed. It absolutely poured torrentially during our entire stay so it was a Netflix and reading weekend for us. The cottage was very comfortable and well set up so we could still really enjoy our forced R & R. There was a beautiful outlook from every room. So, despite the weather our stay was still lovely.
