Stunning place, we went as a group of 9 and absolutely loved our stay.

My best friend and I stayed for two nights for my birthday. We wanted somewhere peaceful, relaxing and comfortable. Lizzy’s cottage was even nicer than we expected, the photos don’t do it justice. The hot tub was amazing, especially in the cold weather. The tub and the whole house were spotlessly clean too. Harrison (the host) was very helpful and responsive to messages, he always replied instantly. We had a really lovely time and left feeling recharged and rested. We would definitely recommend this cottage to others and would love to come back.

Just got home from a three night stay. In summary, we had a fantastic time. The property exceeded our expectations and we wouldn't hesitate recommending it. The owners had thought of everything and the welcome pack was greatly appreciated. The facilities were perfect including the amazing hot tub which was great after a long day walking. The EV charger was a great addition and easy to use, adding to a great overall experience as charging your car can be a headache. Steve and Sandra were lovely hosts and made our stay perfect. Thank you!

Amazing place, very private and quiet. All we needed was provided in the house. Hot tub was ready on our arrival. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back!

Fantastic find, a mile from Matlock but feels like you are deep into the countryside. So quiet and peaceful, the cottage was everything you could need, spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. Shower is a bit cramped if you are over 5ft 8ins though :-) Lovely enclosed garden ideal for the dogs and the views across the dale are stunning Would love to return one day, highly recommend a visit

Fantastic stay at Snaptin! The cottage is even better than the photos, it's beautiful. Helen provided wonderful personal touches such as home baked bread and granola. Easy to walk into Bakewell town centre. It was bliss - hope it won't be my last visit!

Mill St Cottage was absolutely perfect, a homely charming property, very clean, warm, excellent bed, bedding and towels. everywhere smelt lovely. Very good kitchen facilities. lots of little special touches throughout the cottage. Our 2 cockapoos loved it especially the treats. Parking was fine outside the property with no problems. Belper has so much to offer, lovely walks, lots of small locally owned shops as well as a couple of larger supermarkets, dog friendly pubs, cafes and restaurants, we also had a takeaway, love to choose from. Louise has lots of local and surrounding information in specific folders at the cottage. We was able to get in before 2pm as Louise messaged to say it was ready and had put the heating on. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits left for us. A lovely 3 nights and will definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay , its a beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need. Laura's very helpfull and quick to respond . The area is picturesque with lots of walks, the people in crich are so welcoming especially the locals in the cliff inn . We will definitely be returning.

Catherine’s cottage is ideally situated for some top walks in some of the Peak’s great locations. Somewhere we’d happily want to return to to enjoy a summer experience! Friendly and helpful and welcoming communications all the way through. We had a really lovely time and were totally comfy and cozy in the cottage in the middle of some fairly wintery weather. All needs nicely catered for and thank you for the amazing spread of extras too! A great way to have welcomed in the New Year :)

The beautiful Tweedledum cottage has everything you need to relax. The living room has a comfortable sofa & smart TV ready for cosy nights in the kitchen has all the facilities you may need. The bathroom is finished to a high standard, however, the ceiling slopes over the toilet & as a male you may struggle, so to speak. The bedroom is delightful, the four-poster bed is so very comfy & there is plenty of storage. The cottage is situated perfectly for walks & there are 2 bakeries within yards of the cottage, plus a pub. There are a further 2 pubs & 2 shops nearby. The cottage is also a good base for travelling to nearby attractions & towns. Overall the cottage is a great place to relax & we would return.

Had a relaxing 2 days in Sue’s homely cottage. Surrounding area is abundant with eateries, watering holes and wonderful walks with breath taking views. The cottage itself is spotless with everything you need, a wonderful stay well worth a visit.

We had a lovely stay here with my family of 5 people! It’s a very cosy home with a lovely log burner. The kitchen was well equipped as we cooked at home but also its close enough to country pubs and the griffin inn restaurant was easy to get to! Lucie’s husband was very helpful, very friendly and quick to respond when we had trouble turning on the heater in the annex. We stayed during some very cold weather and we loved the fire place and the warm and cosy surroundings. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Linda’s cottage is lovely. Just as the photos and very cosy for a winter stay. The location in the village is fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped for our short stay and the milk and biscuits very much appreciated. The beds were comfortable with high quality bed linen and towels. The wood burning stove was easy to set and made the living area cosy and warm. Thank you.

I messaged Nicola last minute to see if she could accomodate us the same day for the weekend and she was very helpful. After a super quick response everything was booked and sorted. The house was beautiful, had everything we needed and it was decorated and furnished to a wonderful standard. We arrived lateish (8pm) and checking in was easy, using a key lock box at the property. The location of property is perfect for a jaunt around the peak district with some lovely towns, cafes and walks a short drive away. It was fantastically clean and felt very homely. The wifi and smart TV were very handy for evenings in and the kitchen had all we needed. Beds were lovely and comfy with clean linen. The perfect little stay for the 5 of us, we shall definitely be coming back to stay again!

lovely stay jackie is very friendly! the cottage is sweet, and full of original historic character fitting the village... which is worth exploring then you can snuggle up by the log fire in the cosy living room! the place has all modern appliances & is great for dogs with beautiful enclosed back garden, just watch out for the main road... We'll be back soon. Bonnie loved it :) xXx

A super place. Cosy and right at home straight away. Definitely take Jo up on her offer of logs. Such a help. Great location with two wonderful bars close by (100m and right opposite). Takeaway services locally. Super host. Jo was really responsive and helpful. Thanks 🙏 Would love to stay again.

Had a wonderful stay for an early birthday weekend; the house was beautiful and incredibly cosy, and the surrounding area was stunning. It was our first trip to the Peak District and we've already planned our next trip back! Flawless property and superb host, all adding up to a fantastic birthday trip ☺️

Fuchsia Cottage makes for a peaceful and relaxing weekend in the countryside. The cottage is warm and spacious with all the amenities you’d need. Would highly recommend!
