Great cabin to accommodate a family with close proximity to Bear Valley skiing!

Abbie’s place in Twain Harte is amazing. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids 5 and under and we stayed with another family of 4 with kids the same age. It was perfect for 2 families. There was a huge living room we could all hang out. It was a rainy weekend but the place was warm when we walked in. The kids LOVED the bunk room - they could even watch TV in their beds while the adults enjoyed cards and some wine downstairs. We ventured to Black Oak Casino for bowling - they had a kids zone with babysitting for $15/per hour which was an awesome unexpected surprise. The house was so cute and spacious. The kids even braved the hot tub in the rain. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Abbie!

Kellen and Kelsey were such wonderful hosts! They were so responsive and communicative ensuring we had everything we needed and all our questions were answered. The cabin was beautiful and such a stunning backdrop! We got a ton of rain but since the property was beautiful and had so many amenities we didn’t mind at all (exploring nature, competing ping pong games, hot tub). The place was homey and had all the touches you could ask for. Overall a wonderful trip, highly recommend! Whether you’re checking out downtown, apple hill, other attractions or just staying in, you’ll have a wonderful time! Thank you Kellen and Kelsey!

Could not recommend this cabin enough if you are looking for a quiet and cozy getaway close to Dodge Ridge! The place is super quaint, very well maintained, has everything you need and the hosts are superb, i.e. very responsive and very helpful. We stayed as a family of four (two young kids under 6) and were all very happy and very comfortable, would definitely love to come back!

Elizabeth was a great communicator. She provided clear instructions and even warned us of the snow storm that was coming. The cabin is super cute! The beds were incredibly comfortable with nice linens. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub as snow fell all around us. The drive to Bear Valley ski resort is about 25 minutes and such a great place to ski. We loved that we got snow during our visit! The cabin is beautifully decorated. Our family frequents this area 3-4 times per year and have stayed at many places. This is one of our favorites and we hope to add it to our winter rotation when we visit.

We stayed in Ben’s place for three nights in February so we can explore the snow with our dog. Arnold is a bit dormant this time of the year (we usually come in the summer). It’s a quiet place. It was clean and comfortable. It’s not new or modern but everything worked. We used the fire place one night it was night and also the Jacuzzi. The kitchen has the basics you need, and the bathroom too. A lot of towels and they are soft. Beds are comfortable. It’s very dark at night so getting in and out the first time was a bit challenging (we arrived at 10pm), we used a flashlight. The backyard is huge. It would be really nice in the spring. The price was fair and the internet was fast and reliable.

We had a great stay at Woodhaven! The cottage is very cozy but was spacious for our family of 4. We loved the hot tub on cold evenings, as well as making a fire in the fireplace. It was conveniently located, close to the market and easy to get to. Will and the caretakers were very responsive!

Our stay was fantastic! The home was spacious with the 3 levels, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was perfect for preparing family meals (great pantry), and the cozy living spaces made it easy to relax. Big sofa and TV downstairs to enjoy family movie nights. The location was super convenient just 15 min from Dodge Ridge and very peaceful and private. The hosts were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would definitely return!

Minutes from big trees state park. Very nice home, would definitely revisit and stay there again! Host was very communicative.

My partner, our dog pickles, and I had a wonderful stay at Hams Station! The cabin was perfectly located for snow sports and hiking. The restaurant has some of the best breakfast I’ve had and the cabin is peaceful enough to enjoy lunch on the back patio. We are so happy to have gotten to stay and look forward to staying in the future!

This cozy cabin was a wonderful retreat that made us feel right at home! It had all the comforts of home and was very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and Elisha was a warm and welcoming host!

we had a wonderful time at Sheryl's idyllic cabin. the kitchen is super well stocked for folks who enjoy cooking, plus it was a lovely walk to the grocery store! the wood burning stove kept the place so warm and cozy. and Arnold is so close to lots of entertainment. it was the perfect place to bring in the new year!

This is a darling cabin!!! The host was super responsive and kind. The cabin was extremely clean, with great quality beds and towels. We loved the fireplace and it’s in such a pretty area. Close to skiing and they have a nearby general store. Easy check in and check out. Our family loved it!!

This was an awesome place to stay! The house was excellent with plenty of places to hang out and plenty of places to sleep. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with all the basics needed. Love that it was kid friendly with some toys and games for them. The trundle beds are definitely for kids only (size wise) and you can’t pull both out at the same time (or it’s way too tight of a fit). The house is not super well marked and there’s zero street lighting, so I recommend coming during daylight and looking closely!

My family and I appreciated the place for our Thanksgiving getaway. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. Although the electric stove wasn't working at the time, the host was quick to respond and try to help. It was in a beautiful, secluded location, and was very homey. Wish we stayed for more nights!

We really enjoyed our stay at Camp Earnest. Everything about the cabin matched what Raman showed in the listing. It was relaxed and unpretentious, just a little room in the woods. The cabin was clearly old and nothing was fancy, but everything worked and was comfortable and the place was stocked with everything we needed, including ample heating (very important!) and comfortable beds with clean linens and abundant pillows. Check in was super easy. We found Camp Earnest charming and would love to come back and spend more time there in the summertime. Our 7 year old kiddo also loved it and enjoyed roaming around while we were there. We would highly recommend it!

Sudha’s place was great! Spacious, airy and very welcoming. You had to climb up a flight of steps to get to the house - The kids loved it, the adults not so much 😀. And, there was a luggage elevator to help.

Lori's cabin was perfect for a long weekend getaway. Beautiful and peaceful location, cozy and well-furnished interior, lovely downstairs bathroom and kitchen. The gas stove in the living room heated the space wonderfully and added to the ambiance. Kudos to Lori for her superb check-in and check-out instructions - very thorough, detailed, and easy to follow. We look forward to visiting Woodhaven again!

Had a lovely stay at Mark’s place, the surroundings were absolutely beautiful, it snowed the second day we were there. It is in a nice private location and was easy to self-check in. Not many restaurants in the area other than Mia’s Pizza and the next one is 25 mins away
