Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bay Islands Department

The house is on an island, so that made it unique right away. The island was very clean and the reef was easy to access for scuba diving and snorkeling. Theres only 1 restaurant on the island, but it was in a beautiful location and served delicious food. The house had 2 kayaks which we used daily to explore the area. The boattaxis can get a bit expensive, if you're using them multiple times a day. The location was beautiful, quiet and safe. Theres nothing going on at night, so if you want bars and restaurants, this isn't the place for you. We stayed in West End before Oakridge amd we preferred Oakridge bc of the are being less populated with tourists. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying at the house. The view from the deck never gets old. Francisco was excellent to deal with. He meets you at the house to go over everything there. The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay.

This home is absolutely beautiful. The layout is nicely thought out and allowed for some privacy from the rest of our party if/when needed. We’d start many of our days kayaking out to the reef for snorkeling (the snorkel equipment is great!), having a beautiful breakfast, spending hours in the great pool and finishing the afternoon with a cat nap. Then completing the evening making a delicious dinner made in the fully stocked kitchen and finishing off with a movie (I’m prone to being eaten alive by mosquitoes so I tend to stay inside at dusk). We didn’t utilize the chef service but as someone who enjoys cooking, the kitchen was great! It was one of the most enjoyable experiences we, as a family, can remember.

I spent a week here and this property is everything you could look for in an island vacation home. Located, quite literally, off the beaten path (I recommend an SUV/4WD vehicle), this home is directly on the beach AND has a newly added infinity pool. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need and the dual sinks and showers in the bathroom are gorgeous. There are ACs in every bedroom & the living room. The property manager is very communicative and quick to respond – every question I had before or during was answered enthusiastically quick. The property was super clean, and the outdoors were somehow always tidied – the beach was raked every morning. If you’re looking to be around the hustle and bustle of the West End, this location isn’t for you. If you’re seeking seclusion & relaxation, have the groundskeeper hand you a fresh cut coconut while you sit at the pool, walk directly from your living room into the water in 10 seconds, this place is for you. You won’t regret it

This is an amazing place that us not only a great location the house is amazing as well. Smiley and Sam assured that our stay was relaxing, fun filled great neighbors.. The best Airbnb I have stayed in..

This place exceeded our expectations. The house is extremely spacious and the beds are super comfortable. The views, pool, hot tub, pickleball court, games, etc kept us busy and allowed us to unwind and enjoy time in a somewhat secluded private space. The host was very proactive and responsive through out the stay. Truly a hidden gem

So beautiful!! The communication was great and so helpful! The no AC was hard at times but lots of fans helped! The view was incredible!! The whole place opens up to the ocean! Would have been nice to have a full length mirror. Minor thing. The windows in the bedrooms was so fun to have that beach view from bed! Such a lovely place! Each night the sunset was so breathtaking!

Nilda was great! Super fast communication - I arrived a couple of hours early and she was able to get me in. The place looks just like the photos - A/C & WiFi worked great! You can basically walk across the street to the beach! Had the basics to make coffee / mini fridge, etc. Good water pressure in shower. I did kiteboarding at nearby Camp Bay Lodge (which is walking distance) and had lunch and dinner at their restaurant each day. I was able to take a taxi from the ferry for $60 each way - no car for me - but definitely arrange for your taxi ride back in advance because this place is very remote. Also stop at the SuperMarket before making the journey out here - because there really are no stores close by. There are a couple of other small restaurants walking distance away but I did not try them. There is some noise - motorcycles going by, lots of dogs roaming around and some horses! I didn't have trouble sleeping because I had a white noise app running at night.

If you’re into beautiful natural areas this is definitely a good place. Blanca is just a wonderful person, she’s very kind and sweet, ready to help with anything you might need..

Erin was super kind and caring during my stay. If there was anything she think would be important (like scheduled power shortages in the island) she would notify you. She was very responsive and the place was full of fantastic nature (iguanas, fireflies, butterflies and sea life)

We spent three wonderful weeks at Iliana and Samuele’s place. Our apartment (newly renovated) was perfect, with all the necessary comfort. We spent our evenings on our balcony, and there was a hammock to relax in. The pool is a big plus. The owners are available and answered all our questions. They also gave us great recommendations for restaurants. Just a one-minute walk away, there is a charming little hotel where we went several times to eat or have a glass of wine. We used taxis or minibuses to get to West End or West Bay. We highly recommend this place, 100%. Cheers Lyne and Dieter

First off big thanks to Carla. We had a big group and started in La Ceiba but due to rainfall left the first place early. Carla was able to facilitate a short notice, large group booking, fielded a lot of questions, and was very patient. We arrived and instantly loved the location with its superb views, private dock, grill, and refreshing cold pool. The rooms were good sized, the kitchens had ample supplies. So for some... there is a negative, this place has no air conditioning. Now, with that being said there are lots of fans, and I think the price is reflected in this omission. Our group weighed the pros and cons and the value was still there for this property. You can snorkel right off the dock and I will preface this with there is seaweed you need to navigate but once passed it, the sealife is great. The property is not in the loud hustle and bustle of west bay but is a short drive away. I'm very thankful to have found this place, many great family memories were created here!

Nestled away on the South Shore you won't find better amenities. These folks have gone above and beyond. Absolutely the best place to stay if you want something a little more off the beaten path. A perfect getaway. Not to mention the pristine reef, perfectly manicured palm trees, and friendly and helpful hosts!

Mel is awesome! Definitely worth staying here instead of one of the busier touristy areas and just getting a cheap taxi to and from wherever you're going, or renting a scooter or car.. The room was perfect, optional A/C for a few extra $$ which is worth it depending on the weather. Awesome to have a pool there. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Lianes property. The design of the studio is stunning, with high end decor and technology. The rooms look exactly as pictured, if not better in real person. The property is beautiful and it is such a peaceful environment with pathways, a water feature and many trees. A bonus is being able to snorkel right in front of the property. Liane ensured every detail was taken care of and was quick to respond if we had any questions. We highly recommend staying here and have already booked for a longer stay on our next trip to Utila.

A very nice cabin and as a good location, with access to the beach and very close to Trujillo too, it has lights and rechargeable fans in case the power is cut, the host is always very attentive and resolves all the inconvenience. i recommend it.

Nice location, tucked away in the trees, and away from the main part of the crazy in Roatan. Had an issue with the TV and the shower hot water but Rosalie has mad skills and fixed them within the hour! There is a nice beach across the street where you can swim. The dock pictured was locked so didn't get to use that. Super clean, full size fridge, a/c worked awesome (and I needed it). The restaurant Creole's next door has good coffee and breakfast. Note that there is some noise with neighbor dog and rooster as well as disco clubs but earplugs took care of that! Beautiful place and well kept.
